I tried tire rack around 2016. Haven't looked back. Confidence is knowing that, when a sudden downpour hits you in the highway exit. (And, you are a "spirited" driver who enjoys turns) Tirerack.com suggested a tire with a wet tread pattern. (And gave video tests & customer feedback for additional input) Or, when you move back to the mountains, and it's snowing. And, Tirerack.com recommended an all season tire with outstanding winter characteristics, before the move. You're going to make it, to the top. Tires & that little moving contact patch, can make big performance & safety differences. Tirerack.com has never steered me toward something more expensive. And, they will answer ever question you have. Without, being salesmen. Though, they are internet based. They have an old school, look you in the eye, and shake your hand kind of feel. They are more than ok with, earning your trust.
The Perelli scorpion, active weather tires have a very loud drone when driving at high speed. I read all the reviews and everyone said that they were quiet, but unfortunately they are not. I do not like to tire at all. I cannot return them because I've already put them on the car so I will be purchasing another set of tires from the dealer and taking these off.
Tire rack provides good selection and convenient web interface. I have purchased Blizzak tires for multiple vehicles over many years. Today, I purchased 2 rear tires to replace ones that showed signs of tread separation after only 5 months of use last season (255/40R-19 BRIDGESTONE BLIZZAK LM005 XL). Blizzaks continue to be highly rated, so I'm going to try again and hope it was a quality blip.

Site has changed since my last order 5+ years ago. A little intimidating, but easy to use. I like that orders can be shipped to installers.

Smooth. Like the amount of filters when searching tires. Was able to pick up tires at warehouse (6 miles away) in an hour.

Long time ago. 1 of 4 tires was bad and caused inconvenience to ship it back at cost to me, otherwise was great.
Selection is better than local shops. Prices are always competitive too.
I thought it's the same company for now, still it's not one stop shops for some reason, as price and coverage differs between the two with same tires
Cheap discounted product
It's just easier, and better to order your own tires in the comfort of home. No waiting in line and you can shop as long as you want.
Because I bought a set once before, and one of the tires got lost in transit. No questions asked I had another tire on my door step the next day. Their good tires also!

Mr Tire was understaffed and was not able to install our Tire Rack delivered tires until 4 hours after our appointment time.
Tire Rack has capably handled many tire orders on my vehicles over the years and consistently gives me good feedback on tire selection. The installer I chose for this order (Don's Import) has performed well for me on previous tire orders.
I once received a tire with a hole in the sidewall. They replaced it free. Just an inconvenience
