I have been a TPG customer for over 20 years and until about 5 years ago would have given a 5-star rating. I have recommended their service to hundreds of people and businesses but sadly the service has dropped significantly recently. One is not able to relocate with one's plan intact, a new more expensive plan is offered or accept a lower speed plan, which would be acceptable if the speeds were consistently at 50% or greater but with a median of 20.1Mbps Dn & 7.58Mbps Up on a 100Mbps Plan it's just not acceptable. It is time to look elsewhere as customer support does not rate at all.

Companies should be held accountable for false or misleading advertising. Claiming typical speeds well in excess of actual speed is misleading at best and downright dishonest.

Have been on the phone for over 2 hours and getting palmed off to 5 different numbers. Trying to run a business and not a circus. Loss of work time, frustration beyond belief. Bring our services back into Australia where we can have some accountability for technical assistance. It's obvious that people overseas in whatever country TPG palms off tech assistance, don't give a rats arse about helping anyone. Pathetic!

Poor service in general, with pathetic customer service. Pack of money grabbing rip-off artists. Can't guarantee service that is paid for and no offer of compensation for internet downtime (which has been too regular to be considered satisfactory).
One star. Inefficient service. Spent more time transferring me around departments and holding the line than finding a solution. I hung up. Not solutions focused. Poor performance. I have been a longtime customer. That doesn't seem to matter anymore. Not recommended in Oz.

Had a very poor connection and speeds. Connection drop outs everyday. If you rely on your internet for important tasks TPG is not for you
Non existent customer service. To make things worse they will forfeit any money they can. Like the $20 prepayment.

I have ordered SIM cards and activated when arrived in Perth, still can not use 3 days after activation. Call forwarding active message comes, no balance for international phone although international calling added to plan. Customer support contacted almost 30 times, get some one can not fix, call drops off, Dial once again, repeat same story to another customer associate, no body knows exactly how to identify and fix the problem. Staff is never efficient and now will try to get full refund of services. This is totally unacceptable and TPG need to shutdown the shop if they can not provide good service, What a shame? I will never recommend any one to use TPG in Perth. I will ask for full refund now
Ask for refund for a router, service member verbally promised will cancel the order and process fund into my bank account. Few days later, the router has arrived at my place. Called TPG and recommend me to ship it back, pay your own shipping fee then you will receive refunds (maybe who knows).
Why was it not cancelled? Typical excuses from TPG is "the communication system was having problems and the logistics was not notified"
Please ignore TPG for any refunds, utterly useless and careless

After 5 phone calls and a total of 7 hrs listening to their on hold music over 2 days. I would never recommend there services to anyone. Problem still not solved and only to be meet with I will call you back on Monday morning after lodging my instal problem at 2 pm on Friday 4 hrs on the phone on Saturday with no out come. But they are still happy to take my money with no services provided. Over serval email to help them no help to us bad form TPG

TPG just focus on selling their products. Once trapped with a product, too hard to get it cancelled. No one to answer cancellation calls. Wasting 2 hours on the phone and just could not get it done! Awful system!

TPG app does not work. Deleted and i stalled x3. Via website have to put in 6 digit pin despite entering username and password. Very annoying when you just want to check usage. My internet went down with no way of getting # to call them. 24 hrs later it came back on. Found I had used almost all of my data. Rang and was put on hold constantly by a female who had a crying baby in background. After 30 mins she just hung up on me but did confirm TPG had not sent me a notification I'd used 80% of data 6 days previously (a legal requirement). Rang back. 'Supervisor' was very rude. After 2 addition hours on the phone including him telling me he could see by my d.o.b I had been around a long time, (?) he agreed to give me 2Gb extra data and $10 charge would be waived. 3 weeks later it had nit been waived so I had to make yet another call to TPG. Very nice CSR promised $10 would be refunded within 7 working days. I will not hold my breath.

I agree with everyone here who could not get issues resolved, and have also been constantly lied to by TPG about escalating refunds without actually receiving the refund, four times so far and counting. It's their business model to obfuscate. I've had to escalate to the ombudsman so let's see how that goes. This has been the most frustrating experience ever.

Been with TPG for more than 2 years. All good until I have an issue and TPG support is so terrible that it has been 10 days now and I still don't have internet connection. TPG cancelled/disabled my account without my consent. Called and email them everyday. Was able to talk to their manager too but no progress still. They refuse to re-activate or create a new account until I pay the re-connection fee which is like applying for a new connection.
AVOID TPG. They are ok like some claim but once you have an issue like me, it takes ages. Terrible support.
I should have read reviews before signing up with TPG. Reviews for TPG is slow and terrible support. You can read it yourselves.
Save yourself from disaster, AVOID TPG!
I have been a TPG customer now for about 10 years. Previously with ADSL internet and currently with our family's mobile phones. I believe they are good value for money for economical mobile phone plans. The mobile coverage is good. Everything runs like clock-work and they are contactable and responsive when something needs to be altered or fixed.
Useless. Requested a replacement sim last Sunday night. No sim on Friday. Gave them a call. Apparently technician upgrades meant that the sim wouldn't arrive until the following week. Couldn't be any more specific.
Absolutely pathetic. More than a week without a phone.
Lift your game, TPG. Will not recommend you to my worst enemy
TPG - cancelled account early and advised by email not to withdraw from my account next month. TPG went ahead and withdrew $29, from my account, still today no Refend. Where do you go from here... Contacted the Industry Ombudsman and see how we go. Absolute nightmare of a company to deal with

If you want to keep your sanity, and wanting save your mental health, money, time, do yourself a huge favor and never get involved with TPG. I have no more mental capacity to write it all here, but enough to say, I am waiting for a modem, a modem, a modem (right?) since 8th of October. Today is the 28th and I'm still waiting-and I will have to wait more of course. So stay tuned until I receive this modem.

After four weeks, TPG couldn't provide reliable phone service, not mobile nor landline. After daily contact, hours on the phone, hours emailing, a full complaint, still no full phone service. They passed me around from department to department but couldn't resolve the technical issues. I the end I closed the account. TPG continued to take money from my credit card and after many, many emails offered a refund. The refund takes 7-10 working days and when asked if TPG will take further funds without my position, the TPG complaints officer ignored my emails. Apparently, I've had 'some service on some days.' Their staff don't have a good command of English, are in foreign countries and don't care about their customers. Worst customer service that you could imagine. If you want to support companies employing Aussies, stay away from TPG. Unreliable service and very poor support. Dreadful experience with TPG. 0/10.
My husband and I are technophobic oldies. Every time we have needed Techno support we have been treated with respect and soooo much patience. It is not stressful at all! A great experience.

In first September 2022 I asked a TPG simcard and canceled it quickly when I found it takes 10 days and I was in a hurry.
But believe it or not, TPG is still deducting $20 from my account every months for nothing! So many contacts and emails was not successful yet. They not only do not refund, but also do not stop deducting process.

I am long time customer of Tpg and last 6 months I am getting every day heaps of telemarketing phone call, I requested to change my phone number and I want to keep same plans but they told we can not change your number but you can buy another SIM card we do not provide any more this plan, it's shame, no respect for customers, I do not recommend Tpg
Oh my gosh, it's the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. I became a client of TPG, paid money and never had internet connection! I've been calling them every day for one week and all they have been telling me is that: oh okay, we are sorry about that, we will transfer you to someone else. And then I've been oh hold for 3 hours and then someone just simply hangs up on me or the freaking process starts over again! And I've been taking time off from work, had to drive back home for a few times per day and it was for about one week jesus christ! Had to do troubleshooting so many times over the phone and nothing. I request a technician to come over to my place and quickly fix it but nope. And oh my gosh nothing bloody has been fixed, only promises have been given and just keeping me on hold or transferring back and forth. I've never ever in my life left a bad review but here it is. If you would like to stay calm please never become a client of this company, it's just so ridiculous.
What ever you do, keep well away from TPG for internet. My complete dissatisfaction is NOT from just a few appalling Customer Service experiences but in the multiples of tens. In short, if everything is going fine you get the obligatory lovely "thank you choosing TPG" but if there is an issue from THEIR end and you are assured on 3 sperate occasions over a month that the refund (in this case) will be dealt with, please do not hold your breath. I will not waffle on and explain all the issues and terrible customer service I received but as someone in his 60's and in the tech industry, TPG are the winners in just plain bad service which unfortunately was confirmed by friends after I signed up with them. Even after 3 separate occasions of being promised (the last one being a person named Ron 9814), I am certain that I will need many more calls and time wasted with these turkeys. BE WARNED.

I have been with TPG for a long time, over 12 years, latterly nbn. I have had no problem with its customer service or speeds. Recently I converted to a data limited account, 100 gig, 50/50 off/on peak as I am only one person using it. I wondered how my data usage was going two weeks in. I couldn't log in to my account, even though I had logged in to change my account. So I rang tech support who told me to give all sorts of private information by email to *******@tpgtelecom.com, unencrypted of course. This crowd even wanted me to send a copy of my drivers licence with me holding it! Well I refused of course, and said all I want to know was what my on peak/off peak usage was. 33gig apparently, with zero off peak. This didn't sound at all right having visions of running out quickly and being throttled to zero and having to buy data. Also I did most of my streaming off peak. So I finally had access to usage details on my account, don't know how, and found nothing was being logged off peak, all put on peak, even though I turned off my modem during on peak hours and used mobile data instead. Rang and complained. Was told I must have been hacked. I said, er no, modem switched off. Fix this or I go to the ombudsman as this is fraud. I found others had had same problem 4 years ago on TPG community. Looks like they have fixed it but I am still checking frequently.
Been with these guys for 7 years. Nothing but great service, real support if you need it and best prices without a doute
