The tips you gave me worked like a charm. Chase is actually a Labradoodle. 4 months, extremely intelligent, born and raised in a barn until I got him. He only had one accident in the house and was completely housebroken in 2 days. His buddy is a Maltese he loves to hump, and Charlie snaps at him every time and growls. I was told it's a status thing on who's dominant. Your tips worked great. Thank you so very much.
I would first like to thank you for the emails. I greatly appreciate them! Your approaches have helped me with King already. When he's jumping and I simply ignore his behavior, as you said, he stops within a very short amount of time. Also, praising him with just simply saying good has worked great. I'm not sure if that has worked or made a difference for anyone else but it truly did for me. Thank you for free tips and advice. I'd not be fortunate enough to have something like this otherwise.
Relieved and I have a plan. I learned how to socialize my 3month old toy schnauzer by several top level dog trainers and dog whisperers in an almost overnight group effort! I would do the entire course all over again. My puppy is now much better for having had this association. Thank you!
I learned very down to earth practices to try with my dog such as putting peanut butter on a kitchen appliance to use to repatriate my little one from complete alienation from me after the puppy environment that he had come from……..
I gained alot from it. Loved speaking with top professionals in the business for one on one puppy advice. Loved having a “ go to” to get timely advice.
Peanut butter for handling issues
Definitely, I gained alot from it.
The call was incredibly appreciated, and Thomas had great ideas.
The teething issues.
Am glad I subscribed to Nancy. Through the few lessons I have received Am already beginning to understand the nature of my little friend and can now enjoy her company better as I continue to train her to become an angel.
I really feel for the people reviewing TrainPetDog.com, yet I am very thankful for your integrity of posting warnings to others. I was saved from the criminals by the skin of my teeth. I filled out their form and received 3 error messages, on a frquently used and never turned down credit card account. Thank goodness I had already been burned by PayPal and their policy of accepting all charges against your account with no questions and not being available to you to protest.
Just as I was about to try the fourth time! --Vystar Credit Union called my phone,, with a suspicion of fraudlent charges. Although the CU rep did not say the company is fraudlent, she did inform me that they have several different banks that handle their accounts, all overseas, Cypress, India, etc. That is what stopped my charges, they needed an international account, i. E. Paypal to process. Thank you all for your time in posting theses warnings.
With the tips and new information I got with TrainPetDog my little puppy Gold Berg has improved his behaviour quiet well he now knows how to sit, and im still working on getting him to lay down but it's slowly improving. Trying not to get frustrated with him can be a challenge but TrainPetDog has made me realize I have to be consistent and understanding. I have also been teaching him to wait for his food and he seems to do really well with it just sometimes he gets to excited so he doesn't always listen, but that's ok and I just wanna thank TrainPetDog for helping me become a better owner.
Nancy is really sweet and send those messages which feels like they actually were written for YOU each time! I like the fact that some basic things is for FREE for people who dont have money like me to spend
I wish I would have done a little more investigation into this site before I signed up but I didn't. This company will continue to bill you for the elite dog club even though you cancel. The info contained On this site is free online on other sites. I could never even sign in to the elite club. BUYER BEWARE!
Luckily I didn't get any of the products that I was offered but subscribed anyways. I only unsubscribed today because I got two creepy emails. The first one was: Is your dog's life worth a $1 to you? This was because I wasn't clicking on any links I was sent and didn't buy any products. But the last one is what really shook me. It said; Hunter, is your dog dying a slow death? I'm glad I found this site and the reviews.
Axow was really aggressive and he ran away most of the time, while going through these training instructions I made sure to show positive reinforcement and he was very playful and calm. This was very useful!
Great tips and advice to follow looking forward to being more knowledgeable since first time owners
I got a new dog and wanted to train the dog the best that I could. I thought paying for this program would give me the best possible information that I could get without having to take my dog to a trainer during these times. That is not true; the information is slightly better than what can be found with a quick google. The site is also horrendous and the process of paying for your program includes half-a-dozen pages trying to upcharge you. I read through everything and got the basic package, or so I thought. I randomly get charged for my membership again because I apparently signed up for their elite membership, even though I intentionally clicked no to it. You'd be better to just google any questions you had about training your dog and stop greasing these pilferer's pockets.
Same as others. Signed up for their free trial and was immediately billed for a month. Have never been able to gain access to their actual site and was recently billed for anoter month even though i sent a cancellation notice. Why is a site like this allowed to exist?
I was under the assumption that when I placed my order, the information I would receive was specifically for Pug Puppies-it is not. The info is for ANY puppy or Adult Dog. I'm very disappointed in my purchase and am considering requesting a refund.
Very constructive! Lots of things to try with crate training. We hadn't thought about how she would associate the crate with the crate at the shelter where she was returned 4 times and the crate would embody that rejection. I love all the things we can do to make the crate positive for her.
Crate training for sleeping at night and for naps and a place to be when we are gone. Sally gave us about 10 different ways to make it positive.
I am really glad I have been getting the emails. I have learned things I never knew. I especially liked the advice about acknowledging bad behavior. I wasn't aware that I was giving Hazel the attention she wanted by telling her no or pushing her down when she is jumping on me.
It has been 10 years since we have had a puppy. I was nervous! But this training program has been a game changer. In some cases it has reinforced what we are doing and in other cases it taught me SO much and highlighted things I did wrong the first time. I wish I had known all of this the last time and highly recommend this program for your new puppy and dog. Videos were very helpful and the one on one trainer visit was SO helpful, but the personalized manual was absolutely my favorite. I expect it will be my check in as things change with my puppy as he grows. The biggest tip it taught me was consistency, like a toddler. Everyone needs to be doing the same thing at the same time. If you get up early for work, get up earlyish even on weekends. Feed your puppy at the same time(s) daily. Make sure your kiddos are doing what you are doing so as not to confuse your puppy. Tips and tricks help SO much!
How consistent placement of potty pads and visual cues for where to go can help with training.
Absolutely, 100%. These trainer calls are so valuable.
Very helpful in answering my questions. I have talked to several trainers in this organization and all are helpful.
How to teach sit-stay
Thanks for the wonderful online training you've given me, they are indeed amazing and helping... I hope and wish I was talking to you in person but distance won't allow, I read those lessons from your past mail and the page you sent. They are indeed helping because I've been using this on my big Samoyed and my lil puppy Samoyed... The big Samoyed seems stubborn but it's still helping... Thanks for being a caring woman, long live you, long live your company, long live K9... Permit me to say I love you.
This tips have been super helpful so far in helping me understand my dogs breed a bit more, and for a service I didn't intend to find I'm really glad that I did, especially as I didn't know much about Border Collies when I got Nova! Thanks for all your help so far!!
I have no login info and every time I go to the site I can only access the free video for people to purchase the program. I would be very grateful for the URL and login credentials so I can begin using the program.
Thank you
The advice was helpful, especially when to give Coco attention, turns out I was the one who was wrong. Lmao. I managed to train her on when to touch her food, if I say leave, she leaves the food, if I say eat she eats. Still training her on other things. Thanks for the tips again.
This was helpful, but it didn't come at the time I expected. She was supposed to call at 7:40 and it wasn't 7:40 yet when she called the second time. Then she said it was 7:40 Eastern time, but the email didn't say that.
Dog bites the leash and tries to play with it
We had a lot of confusion about the call. Sally called last night, but I thought I had rescheduled the call for today at 3:40. Then someone called at 3:35, but I didn't think it was time for the call so I didn't answer. Then I listened to her voicemail and called back and asked her to call again, but she never did. Then Sally answered my text tonight and called me. I appreciate Sally calling.
We talked about teaching the older dog "leave it" and enforcing it with a time out when he gets too rough with the younger dog. We also talked about separating them and teaching them things and working with them and playing with them separately.
Im so overwhelmed at getting a personal email to myself and bindi, your tips and teach has absolutely helped John and I to train Bindi, John and I take turns on listening to your wonderful teaching tips and drinking all the help from you we can get.... we just lost our King Charles bella And now we found your link to do a greater and more professional job with Bindi. Your links are absolutely amazing thank you very very much 10/ out of 10 kind regards gwennie John and Bindi. She is going for her little injection this morning.
I am wondering whether the claims of this company are fraudulent? I signed up for the training program they charged my credit card but I have yet to receive anything from them or hear anything is there anything of when I will receive something I have even called Paul they're 800 number number and left messages and have never heard a thing from them I know it is too late for me to receive conversation baconversation back but I hope to prevent somebody else from falling into their prey.
