The tips you gave me worked like a charm. Chase is actually a Labradoodle. 4 months, extremely intelligent, born and raised in a barn until I got him. He only had one accident in the house and was completely housebroken in 2 days. His buddy is a Maltese he loves to hump, and Charlie snaps at him every time and growls. I was told it's a status thing on who's dominant. Your tips worked great. Thank you so very much.

When he's jumping and I simply ignore his behavior, as you said, he stops within a very short amount of time. Also, praising him with just simply saying good has worked great. Thank you Nancy for the emails I have received these past two days. They have been very helpful being that this is the first time we are having a dog and don't have a single experience in having a pet. Applying your recommendations have been rewarding, especially on seeking attention at the wrong time. Out first instinct (My husband and i) has been to play with Ariana each time she jumps on us. But ignoring her and looking away when she jumps has been working. I guess it will take a while for her to settle.We will be sure to follow the training and hope we will have a well behaved lab very soon. Thank you.
It's been a good three days. I got tips on how to stop my dogs jumping and a free grooming book. The only problem I would say is that you can't access any thing online, just a presentation that tells you to sign up for their membership. Nothing is really free except the emails. And I understand that this is high quality info, but at least some details should be free.
These calls are so great! I had just watched the "heel" video on the website and recognized Sally's voice, so we chatted about how she used different dogs in the videos to help us see ways to do things differently depending on our dog. I loved her use of "leave it" and will go look for the video for that.

All of the information was very useful! It was nice talking to a trainer. And I have learned a lot about training my Shih Tzu puppy. Training does seem overwhelming at time between the potty training and the other commands like leash training. The latter has been tough as well since Callie is 14 weeks old.
How to get my two dogs to play together more nicely. This didn't work out because my older dog was in renal failure and we are doing palliative care now. The overall training modules are extensive.
The modules are very informative though I doubt I will continue with the Elite Dog Club.

Several months ago I joined TrainPetDog for what I thought was one month for $37.00. They have been charging my account for all the months since then. I will have to check the records to see exactly how long. My husband handles all the accounting and bank statements; he figured I had ordered something beneficial. He asked me what I was getting for the $37 monthly. Well, I have never been on the site! During all those months! We immediately cancelled the card and got another one. NOW, we get emails from them that the card will not process their invoice.
This is a rip off. You can find the answers to all the training they offer FREE on other dog sites.
I would like a refund of all money taken from my credit card account during this time. They don't deserve even one star!

I've learned a lot about my dog that I didn't know. So far I am very pleased with everything I've received. I have already started using the information you have sent me and it seems to be working. I'm looking forward to Luna becoming the best she can be.
As this point I cannot describe my experience. Since I have not completed reading yet, and havent started actually training. As far as I can tell at point is there are a lot of generalizations. I was hoping for more specifics. I'm sure I'll figure it out, once we actually start training.
I read many reviews about TrainPetDog.com and signed up anyway. After seeing the presentation I was very impressed with the insight presented in training a dog. It was not completely relevant but I appreciate the professionalism put into the content. The information provided in the online service is excellent. Very informative, detailed, and logically progressive. I have had great results training my puppy using the database thus far. In fact, I ordered the book and decided a week later I did not want it because the online version was more than adequate and they refunded my money right away. I agree that when you sigh up they promote much more than I was willing to sign up for but it was not an issue for me. If I were running this business, I would probably do the same. I am deducting one star for that reason alone because it did get very confusing. Bottom line, the content is very well written, constructed, intuitive to follow and I am getting excellent results with my training.

I have received several tips in just a few days that are helpful as we prepare for bringing a puppy into our home. I have had several dogs in my life and am excited to be able to welcome another dog into the family. We are busy preparing the home and yard, reading what we can about parenting. The ebook about grooming has been excellent in its coverage of all things related to ensuring we keep our pet healthy.
So far my experience in training has been relatively easy as my puppy is very smart. These videos helped to focus my command usage to be clearer with him and that has increased both of our patience with training and made it more fun. I would love some videos in house training as we are Making progress but nothing's perfect.
Very thorough - answered my questions in detail. Comforting for working with new puppy. Sally obviously has worked with a lot of dogs and done a lot of research on current issues (heart issues as a result of feeding grain-free food, what foods are best to feed). We appreciate talking with her.

Yes! Definitely worth it. We've only had our puppy two days, but we talked to Sally before we got him and again tonight and feel like we are really doing all the right things.
I thought by signing up for a call I would quit getting the email asking me if I wanted a call, but Sally says I won't! She did explain what emails I should expect and why and it made sense. Then I realized she is the one on all the videos I have been watching. I love the videos because they are short and to the point and easy to re-create with my puppy. We had a good conversation.

This course is helping me learn more about my dog and what she needs to be her best. I know when she's feeling her best, she'll be happier and he's Luther, which will make our relationship and training sessions better.
Zena has been getting much better each day and takes note when you tell her to sit and is not biting one so much or destroying things.
She loves to play and get attention but is much calmer. Your training cause is the best I have seen, and it works.

Your email are actually really helpful because they let me completely change how I deal with any situations with junky. The fact that she is only looking for attention is quite understandable as she is only 2 months old. I have stopped scolding her since yesterday when she jumped on me and I have noticed her not coming to see me every time like before. I would like to thank you for the e-book because it is really helpful because she is my first puppy and I am a bit new to it all.
So far, since discovering this, our 14 weeks old GS has been doing wonderful and he's my very best friend. My fiance was mind blown of how well behaved he is for a puppy as we live 3 hours apart for our jobs. I can't thank this enough since this puppy is my very first dog and I was panicking but these courses helped ease my mind and relaxed and felt more confident.
I own a AKC English Bulldog puppy that I was contacted by this company concerning training option. They advertise expert training insights specific to my breed. They bait you with so called ideal packages that once you pay for they never deliver! I have had to cancel them through my credit card company! I gave them over a month to deliver the printed material and they never delivered! What they did do was continued to solicit me for more "Secret Expert Tips"! They are a Rip Off!
It's rare to find instruction that puts the material from a dog's perspective. Obviously we can't get in a dog's head, but it's crucial to observe, analyze and evaluate how dogs behave based on human interaction. You cannot treat a dog like a child. That's just simply the wrong approach and that mentality is evident when your expectations fail. Be smart about obedience training. That's what you get here... smart material that is tested, over and over.
Very good experience. I loved reading the material regarding how to give your dog lots of attention, and how important it is to them. Dogs are little creatures loving their relationship with us. I've given Nugget lots of attention and he's responding beautifully.
I still don't understand why the dog bit my roommate, but it makes me feel better that the trainer thinks it was a reflex action because of pain or fear. I just need to know what he fears or where the pain is.
