The tips you gave me worked like a charm. Chase is actually a Labradoodle. 4 months, extremely intelligent, born and raised in a barn until I got him. He only had one accident in the house and was completely housebroken in 2 days. His buddy is a Maltese he loves to hump, and Charlie snaps at him every time and growls. I was told it's a status thing on who's dominant. Your tips worked great. Thank you so very much.
I would first like to thank you for the emails. I greatly appreciate them! Your approaches have helped me with King already. When he's jumping and I simply ignore his behavior, as you said, he stops within a very short amount of time. Also, praising him with just simply saying good has worked great. I'm not sure if that has worked or made a difference for anyone else but it truly did for me. Thank you for free tips and advice. I'd not be fortunate enough to have something like this otherwise.
I am happy I discovered the web site. The presentations are creative and keeping the viewer's interest. The information in the 3 e-mails I've received was useful. Also I received a present - a book for grooming my dog. I haven't try to use the other options and possibilities available in the site, so i cannot comment on this aspect. It would be good to have more real pictures and videos of the dog technics.
I did reply to an email asking me to but I'm assuming no one read it as I'd not had a reply. What it said was - " when I saw the advert it said it was for a free 30 days hints and tips with no mention of needing to sign up and pay for a course". My email further said "it becomes free if you are not completely satisfied you get a full refund". This is not what free means. I would have looked at the course as an option but not now. I have also I've no doubt their subscribers are happy with the product but for me I like upfront honesty
I've reading some of the mail you sent which I found very interesting but didn't solve one of my problem I've already taught Brigitte to seat, stay walk on my side and a couple of tricks in any case I learned other important part how to give discipline to her! Thank you for the info you sent to me very helpful!
My petsitting business is taking off post pandemic. I am so glad I found TrainPetDog site. The tips suggested work, Nancy follows up with you so it's personalized and good material on training offered.
I am really appreciating this assistance as I didn't realize how particular one must be in training this breed. He is actually half Aussie too but I feel the Border Collie is the predominant gene! I find everything very helpful such as how to train the dog to not jump up and how to teach the dog that I am the alpha dog. So far, all advice has already helped us in training our pup, thank you!
These 12 week old puppies came to us only a week ago. Since then, they walk pretty well on leashes, (when noises and moving objects don't scare them), they are mostly content when in their playpen, almost housebroken, they respond to commands "come", "follow me" and "go home" and for the most part, "No". (Sammy's a little more stubborn than Loki, but he's getting it) We appreciate the mini course, and if we can find the money, would love to get your full course! Thank you for revealing the correct and "positive" approach to training. Our relationship with Sammy and Loki is much more peaceful because of it.
Emily is the best I've ever had for understanding what to do with my reactive Jack Russell. She bridges the gap between my frustration and discouragement and my dog's behavior. I feel hopeful that things will be better. Other trainers said it was necessary to walk my dog and he is too reactive to take even into the front yard. I think things will be better sometime.
My dog has trust issues and I need to go more slowly with training.
Yes but if they have a Jack Russell I would suggest they just work with Emily Schwartz. That breed is so different from others they need a specialist like her.
I am optimistic. Sally helped me realize we can't do everything at once and we are doing well to work on two things right now. I wish my husband would work with the dog the same way I do, but Sally even said that is not unusual and gave me some tips to work more closely.
Potty training and barking. She barks at all kinds of noises and things but won't bark to let us know she needs to go potty.
I feel like Sally has some experience and wish she could be here to help us.
Getting our dog to walk without pulling, to quit barking.
I feel very grateful for this instructive and helpful book about training my Shih Tzu puppy. I have also been listening to the video, which is very comprehensive about all possible conducts of a puppy and its misbehaviors. In the video, you provide many instructions to replace these misbehaviors and correct it. Of course, this guidance that you provide give every dog owner peace of mind, due to our pets will be healthier, less anxious and enjoying life: they are going to walk around without barking, socializing with other people and dogs, etc. My little pet will be also happier at home. We now understand the behaviors it does according to its age. I know it is the result of many years dedicated to improving our pet's life. Sincerely grateful.
I had an enlightening experience on how to stop biting with my puppy. I used the 15 min call to a training who told me how to correct the biting. Granted my puppy didn't bite on purpose as was just playing, but her teeth are sharp and have good little punctures on my hands and fingers. After talking with the trainer, she told me how to curb this problem. My puppy likes to play, but now she understands that biting is not part of playtime. Now, a good ouch lets my puppy know, she is crossing bounds. Barking was another issue that I don't want to reinforce as being okay. After reading the ideas about barking, my puppy has learned to keep quiet. My neighbors dogs bark continuously and was not helping my puppy with her barking. Now I have control over her barking with a quick command of "quiet". This training has given me insight to use positive rewards vice getting upset. I would recommend this course to those who need training.
The three strikes rule for biting.
The course so far has been very helpful to me. This is my first time owning a Boerboel and it was hectic handling Sniper at first but with the help of the tips from you, I'm doing great now. Daddy was amazed how Sniper obeyed my sit command when he got back from work today.
This company has taken a total of $740 dollars from my account, with absolutely nothing to show for it. I'm now trying to work with my financial institution to see if I can recover any of my money. I had to completely cancel my card and get new one to stop the bleeding.
I like your information about not scolding him due to it being just attention from a pups point of you. I also tried the put his paws down when he jumped on me and told him a firm no. Then when he sat, I praised him for doing the right thing. I also noticed him biting and I clapped my hands once loudly and he stopped and I said no to that too. It worked!!
If one of us leave the room, Poppy begins howling and yelping as if she was alone. If she is left alone for only a minute or two, same behaviour plus trying to move the walls of her corral by tugging on them. We're trying to implement some of the suggestions offered and are starting to experience success.

I didn't order their delux training programme but it still has charged me. If you email to their customer support, you get an automated email saying they someone would contact you in n two days then email content goes blank. I have not got my refund yet. They just keep charging you for the product you have not purchased. Please stay away from this trainpetdog website and fall for them.
Hello Mitali,

We don't charge you unless you click YES to our offers. However, its highly possible that you probably clicked on YES without reading the entire page that it would be charging you.

From first expressing an interest, the communication has been very quick and informative. Some of the emails have contained snippits of techniques to use. However some of them contain too much information in one go which may present as overwhelming. Links are clear and functional.
Taking each sister outside separately seems to be working. Taking both girls, on a leash, out at the same time was working until about 3 weeks ago that as soon as we got outside they would start fighting. This was the only time they did this. If the girls were not on a leash, they followed each other around but not really go potty until they were back in the house. They play all day and sleep together. The suggestion of separate walks are working. Now we are trying to get the girls to tell us when they need to go. Any suggestions on this part.
Potty training, general obedience, biting, getting puppy to calm down
I really need to know more about training an older dog. Bear is 8. Was never properly housebroken and never neutered He constantly tried to jump our male neutered beagle and no matter how much we take him out he will still pee on the floor. I don't want to give him up but husband is getting irritated. Can you address how to heal these habits?
The follow up emails and notifications have been helpful reminders and acts of encouragement. I feel confident about most of my dog training techniques, but reading your articles, memos, and updates have helped keep me much more consistent and on top of Wilma's training.
I am following the recommendations and hope to curtail some of Tommy's habits that may need some training with. I've been playing tug of war with him and now realise this is not the right thing to be doing as it increases his tendency to bite snd mouth on my hand. Oops!
Yay! I finally have a step by step and very clear directions on how to train my sweet poodle. FULL of fantastic tips... Great for those of us who continually believe we're not "good enough" to be an alpha and successfully raise the "perfect" pup! This is a no brainer, y'all! I'm a teacher... and this gets an A+!
I got instructions for solving several problems. They sound easy to follow, so I think I can get this puppy whipped into shape.
Jumping on people
Using your techniques our day had been going beautifully until dinner time. Burley was fed as usual and I had to include his heart worm treat. As we were preparing our dinner he started whittling in different places just little bits, like he couldn't hold it. Kind of walking and whittling. That's a why I am puzzled? Could the heart worm treat cause that?
