I love the training program that Nancy Richards has TrainPetDog. Not only do I get daily tips for training my dog, but they are tailored to my dog's specific breed. This is not your average "one size fits all" training program! The suggested training tips work REALLY well and if used consistently you see REAL results- VERY quickly! Because of this program my family and I are enjoying our time with our puppy instead of feeling like we are constantly reprimanding him for being in mischief. Thank you!

I enjoyed my talk with Sally and realized that lots of things we are struggling with are simply puppy issues and will get better, but I now have strategies for working with them to make them better sooner.

Oh, my goodness, I am so glad Sally called me more than once and we got to talk. What she said about my dog losing her socialization to people in costumes for an 1840s re-enactment makes so much sense because she hasn't been around them for over 2 years! Yes Ive used a few of your tips and am finding them quite helpful. You're right the best way is to ignore the bad behaviors and then he returns on his own egar to please. I also find this helpful bc scolding seems to have the total opposite affect where he seems to just misbehave more. I'm not a scolder anyways so ignoring feels better for me too! Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for offering this perfect training and pet advice. Easy to follow tutorials and lots of information about my dog. This is truly excellent training advice that can be used again and again and used as a reference guide when you need a refresher!

I think it's pretty terrible that this company does not give the person The Choice of paying either $37 for online access or $37 for the hard copy book. You lock us in to the on line subscription without giving us a choice I think that's terrible.

Very helpful. I had not thought about giving my puppy naps in her crate. I have never crate trained and needed lots of ideas and help. I feel better about what I'm doing with feeding her and potty training her.

I did not realize this program would be reading. It was presented as though it would be video. The question, if we wanted the book as well, prompted that to be misleading. I have tried to read thorough some of it and, in no way, want to sit at my computer reading all of this. Many of the things I skipped over, as it appeared they were tips for show dogs. It's just a lot of fluff. I would not recommend!
Then I went to request a full refund on their site. I tried several times to follow the procedure and message through their websie. It would not let me submit a request. It continued to tell me my email was incorrect, I even copied and pasted it. I tried several times. I also kept checking to see the all of the information was correct, and it still would not work. I emailed for a refund and hopefully it will get done since there is 120 money back guarantee.

I am very grateful for your comments! I have a newly adopted Beagle -Allie - she is nine years old. She was used for breading and only just got spayed in the past month. She is very smart, but knows littlie behaviourally... the loving and loyal characteristics are profound, however.

I so-o-o appreciate your call and all your insights. I just started with the Thunder Wunders and was surprised to find he didn't like them! So I'm no grinding it down into his meal. Also waiting for adaptil to kick in. Do at this point I need the calm chews more than he does!

I found both the emails very helpful. The first one about saying no to her and gaining her respect in order for her to listen to you and second one about ignoring her at times when she is just trying to get your attention. I am finding this information very useful.

So far, I wasn't sure which training to use and if the tips given to me will work. When I signed up for this training I wasn't sure if I will waste my money or time as there are so many resources on the Web. So far I haven't started the official training yet, but I will. I have been getting useful emails with tips, and even a free book :). It's awesome how much they willing to give away for free, thus as soon as my puppy is 12 weeks ill commence the proper training!

Extremely helpful. Lots of information that really helps. You are the most responsive and have the best advise of all the trainers we have reached out to. What you said really makes sense and we can do this for two weeks and see if it helps as much as you say it will.

I read all your instructions and I was like wow ! I was wandering to find a best trainer for Shadow. Now I think I don't have to wander anymore because I am at the best place . I'm feeling so lucky. My dog is such a good girl, but we are really having trouble with pottying in the house right after she has been out and pottied. I am glad to know I am doing the right things. I also agree with Sally that limiting her water intake upon coming in can help.

I have sent several texts and purchased entire elite training program but haven t spoken to a person about Lolo. I know he s 5 and had a botched hernia operation fixed. I d like to know why such a beautiful dog had been put in a rescue and is it due to behavior problems.

First, The booklet I received for my "specific" breed was clearly generic and used for other breeds, as it wasn't edited well, nor was it terribly accurate. The site access to "free information" all seems to lead to more books to buy.

Second, I left messages for months to get someone to call me back to discuss cancelling my monthly "subscription." No one calls back. When I finally gave up calling and went to the website, it gave me an inducement to pay another $37 for a lifetime membership. For "faster" service, it told me to log a ticket which the system won't submit. Nor will it submit your cancellation. I had to go to my bank and initiate a dispute in order to stop the payments.

I have received both of your previous emails thanks so much I have been taking note as it has already started to work and she is doing wonderful thank you so much I would definitely love to learn more! thank you.

I am really happy the behavior of my dog now...the basic lessons in your two emails really worked..Now my dog doesn't go to toilet in it's kennel any more but in my backyard.....my dog is now stopping it's jumping behavior..thank you.

Tracey, Abby was a Chihuahua in your video but a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in mine, lol! They ask the breed of your dog and "Voila!" That's what Abby becomes! Since Cavalier King Charles Spaniels never bite anyone, I immediately knew it was a scam. I can't imagine a Chihuahua biting anyone (at least not seriously enough to call animal control) either!
