The tips you gave me worked like a charm. Chase is actually a Labradoodle. 4 months, extremely intelligent, born and raised in a barn until I got him. He only had one accident in the house and was completely housebroken in 2 days. His buddy is a Maltese he loves to hump, and Charlie snaps at him every time and growls. I was told it's a status thing on who's dominant. Your tips worked great. Thank you so very much.
I would first like to thank you for the emails. I greatly appreciate them! Your approaches have helped me with King already. When he's jumping and I simply ignore his behavior, as you said, he stops within a very short amount of time. Also, praising him with just simply saying good has worked great. I'm not sure if that has worked or made a difference for anyone else but it truly did for me. Thank you for free tips and advice. I'd not be fortunate enough to have something like this otherwise.
I see that I created my own problems with my dog's housetraining. I'm upset with what Sally told me, but only because I realize all the things I have done wrong and now have to re-train my puppy.

I feel relieved that my new puppy's aggressive behavior is normal.
I thought my puppy was being aggressive due to the lack of exercise. Instead, it was the lack of proper rest. I was given sleep guidelines and recommendations for stimulating my puppy to help avoid biting, chewing and aggressiveness.
Every pet is different as is every owner. I would recommend signing up for TrainingPetDog. I have personally found the guidance extremely valuable.
I bought one of their books which is fine... Really disliked how they give you the "free" Elite Dog Club for one month then automatically charge your card $37 a month after. I went on there anyways to check it out while it was free for me. Personally it wasn't something I would pay $37 a month for so I canceled the subscription before they billed me. During the 2nd step of the 3 step process to cancel they offered me a ONE TIME FEE OF $37 TO HAVE A LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP! This upsets me because I'm sure there are people that enjoy this site and these poor loyal customers are being taken advantage of.
Very encouraging to hear of Sally's experiences in the past 18 months with her herding dog and hear that what I am doing will work eventually.

It's been more than a week I brought my new puppy home and almost five days subscribing to train pet and I've noticed a lot of difference in the way I train my pup.
I was just too busy to be able to talk, but I did answer the phone and explain to Sally I couldn't keep the appointment. She was so gracious and agreed to email me some ideas.

I WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE A REFUND OF MY MONEY.

This was great. I realize after talking with Sally that I was giving the wrong message and I need to change what I am saying and how I am reacting to the situation.
I keep telling Hope that "it's okay; it's a buddy" when I should tell her "leave it" when we approach or pass another dog. I am giving the message that it is a friend to play with and what I should be saying is that this is not the time to play.
