Was a member initially for 6 months. Found out that whilst it is NOT 'an escort site' that it ACTUALLY IS!

When all you see is profiles of girls with pictures showing them with shopping bags on their beds in their Hotel Bedrooms, advertising themselves outside of Chanel, Gucci, Armani boutiques etc, it kind of makes things obvious.

To the man that may be a little naïve, the real give away has to be the constant use in their profiles of the expression ' I am open-minded' and looking for a REAL gentleman.
The second give away is when you propose a joint trip and tell them that you are happy to assist them with their travel costs, they have the cheek to ask for a 'Daily trip allowance?' seriously? One young lady even demanded that she is paid an additional 1,000-euro per day. Only heaven knows what planet she lives on.

The last give away is that some girls say 'I am not escort'... Right, so why have two pics of your face and the other 10 pics of you in lingerie, bikini or topless?

Whilst the owner of this site may have started off with the belief that he was creating a genuine 'travel site' he must be an 'absolute idiot, not to realise what his site is about now!

On the occasion that one should meet a genuine girl, the fact that the software and user friendliness to group and save contacts in any form or means is non existent, so over time, you loose contact or forget who you had interest in in the first place!

At $340 per year, its not a site that is worth the money in anyway what so ever..

I registered on travelgirls.com with no expectations what so ever. I love traveling and meeting new people and thought this sounded like a site were you could meet other people with the same interests. I have never been registered on any site like this or dating site. I felt a bit disappointed as time went on. A lot of desperate pee looking to use eacother but I can't say it was a total disappointment cause out of the blue I met thus guy. Remember I had no expectations of meeting someone to further a relationship with just a travel partner. Well we talked for a while and I can say I think I might have found the man of my dreams. And last week I went to see him for the first time. Not everyone gets that luck so when you do hold on to it but rem to be careful out there

The most frustrating was when, after my first week, i received one message from one guy: "would you like to visit my country? I will pay for your tickets and all the expenses. And for that i want in exchange lots and lots of sex." That one was the most explicit message, and trust me, there are loads of guys aiming for cheap/free sex.
I must say that... I am a companion (a person employed to assist, live with or travel with another). I tell the guys that at my first reply. The guy (usually bussines man) pays the tickets and expenses, and some financial support, a sum that is totally decided by him. Never contacted anyone first. But I intend to leave this site soon. It can be also dangerous. You don't know exactly the person who you're meeting up. Heard about some trafic also. Girls tricked to travel some other country and there they are forced to become prostitutes.

Ok I am going to be 100% honest here. I have been registered with TG for about 2 years. There is good points and bad points. The bad points first... The website has a half half Policy allowing scammers from roumania to florish. All girls know That's and since a few months it encreases in other countries. If they close not the acces from thoose country the website will be close first by american autorities i wonder if they are still avaiable there

I have been registered in this website for a while and I can tell that the website is for real, obviously like any other websites there are scammers and there are escorts too, but I can sure guys that about a 50% and 70% of the women are real and it is easy to recognize if they are scammers or escorts trying to find clients.

What I can say about this site is that most of these girls are fake. When you register they collect all your personal info, id, photos and when you ask to delete the account they ignore it and keep all your personal confidential info. If they block you for any reason they do not give you the possibility to delete the photos and your account stays active. I guess they can use it to do any scams with other users. And I think the site should be reported and banned because it breaks the laws of most of the countries. According to many reviews, this site indulges women into escort services and prostitution and encourages men to pay for that services. Men offering sex in exchange for money are not banned on the site because they are paid members. You can report this activity to local authorities, police etc

I have been on travel girls since January and only just today came to check out reviews... its sad that its not recommended here. I find the men are the most unhappy about it as it seems. I would like to commend Linas and her team for the brilliant idea that they came up with. I'm sure other geniune lady members are too. After reading this reviews i would advice that you look into the scammers issue more responsively for both men and women on the site. The holding up a sign thing may not be enough. Also i think that it would save time for everyone if there's a "must answer category" for DO U HAVE A WEBCAM on each profile.

I' ve been member for a few months, I'm 59. Definetly thare are a high number of "professionals"here, some tell you straight away their price, particularly the russians and ukrainians already living in Turkey, romanians particularly the younger ones are 80% scams, they will tell you about their "problems"right from the beginning and then ask you if you can "help"them... they are "willing to come and visit you,( I live in Ankara) but they don't have no passport ( ha ha a travelgirl withouth travel documents, it says everything!)
