Trustpilot has a rating of 1.3 stars from 79 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Trustpilot most frequently mention integrity team problems. Trustpilot ranks 126th among Consumer Protection sites.
So many fake firms here advertising to be the real ones.Eyeqsecurity org saved me from going bankrupt after I invested so much into a company that was placed high up here by helping me recover my money. I lost faith in most of what I see here
In the 'Mail on Sunday' Boots offer a free token for a £27.50 face serum. I cut the coupon out an was waiting for our local [large] store to open at 11.00 a.m. They didn't have any of this item in stock. Tried 6 other stores and same result; not one had had any in stock. Tried posting on Trustpilot and as usual, review rejected. Reported on social media and found that other people too had not been able to find any stock available. To date 14 people have tried posting on Trustpilot and every review has been rejected! Trustpilot is rapidly declining in having any connection to what Companies are really like. Sitejabber is now in the ascendency for its impartiality. Keep up the good work.
''As part of our efforts to ensure that all Trustpilot reviews are genuine, we have customized software that detects unusual activity on our platform. In this case, our software has flagged that at least one of your reviews is likely to be spam. We take this very seriously, and have therefore blocked your user account and removed your reviews from our platform.'' And then I did notice a lot of fake reviews and/or scams. Fairly obvious on some pages that the 5 star reviews are made up. As a whole, it makes their website fake.
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time. They don't monitor fake positive reviews, while companies are allowed to have genuine bad reviews suspended.
You go to the trouble of writing an honest review on a company, And Trustpilot don't like it, And remove your review.
So what is the point of using Trustpilot. There is'nt.
Trustpilot don't respect freedom of speech. Or your personal opinion... I've written 2 honest reviews on a certain dating site, And they've removed both... Kinda makes you think that some companies are paying them to remove certain negative but honest reviews...
Tip for consumers:
They don't like anyone to have an honest opiion, Even though what you've written about a company is true.
You know it's a terrible site when they have their own page full of fake 5 star reviews all saying how superb Trustpilot is. 208,000 rate it great apparently. Yeah sure. Isn't that a conflict of interest them having their own page on there anyway?
They removed 1 of my review as it was critical and they told me their software had picked up it was suspicious and therefore removed it but allowedmy other 2 reviews to stay up, surely you should keep all up or none? You can't pick and choose. They do as they like
Tip for consumers:
They spam people with emails begging them to leave them a great review on their own site. That's why so many short 5 star reviews
...until I had an experience with an actual scam website - MBenzGram.com. Trustpilot picked up on them posting a bunch of fake reviews, where they have a 2.2 star average and a warning label. On SiteJabber, the scam website has 4.35 stars and tons and tons of fake reviews that there seems to be no way to report or have taken down. Now I realize that TrustPilot is better.
Tip for consumers:
There can still be fake reviews. You have to read them and decide for yourself.
Indirectly helping scammer company
For removing negative review about those company even if they provide them documents emails and photos
They don't reply do you complain at all so don't waste your time right negative review for anything on trustpilot
Tip for consumers:
Please watch Who ripped you off in uk
Trustpilot is a great website where people can share their experiences and opinions about businesses. It's easy to use and has a fair review system. Trustpilot verifies all reviews to make sure they're real and unbiased. The platform also allows businesses to respond to reviews and engage with customers directly. Trustpilot is a valuable tool for anyone looking for reliable information about products and services.
I tried to write a critical review of SurveyJunkie, which currently sits at 4.5 stars on Trustpilot. Normally, my review would be live within minutes. But, this time, Trustpilot dragged its feet and wouldn't allow the one-star rating of Survey Junkie on its website. I didn't violate any of its guidelines. It's obvious that Trustpilot has a working relationship with Junkie which only allows positive ratings. Pay-to-play.
I've written positive reviews and negative reviews. On 3 occasions now, both positive and negative have been removed (You don't get a say, it just gets removed) despite me sending in documentation to prove I'm not fake! Not only that, they refuse to answer emails and perish the thought of writing a negative review about them on their own website, it just gets deleted too! Pretty disappointed when I've tried to review a company who have duped and scammed and misled individuals yet Trustpilot just don't want to know!
Tip for consumers:
That Trustpilot are not honest.

TRUSTPILOT is a review website, like Sitejabber therefore I didn't purchase anything?
Left a genuine review and their arrogant copy and paste email said they're suspending my account as it's been flagged as suspicious and they're confident they've made the correct call. I replied but they ignored it.
You only have to look at the number of 5 star reviews that saturate the site to realize that companies are still offering kickbacks to people in return for a great review despite TP claiming that's not allowed. TP even have a review page for themselves and its full of the usual 5* nonsense, most only a few words saying how great they are
I left a bad review for a TV network and they demanded proof it was real. That's how ridiculous it is, why would I lie and how do you prove you watch TV? I'm sure had it been 5* it would have still been up.
I wouldn't believe any of the 5* reviews on there

Tip for consumers:
I feel happier than I have done in a long while putting my trust in these Crypto-Reclaimer, would of done it earlier if I had known how easy it would be.
I've compared reviews of companies on Trustpilot and on other review sites. Trustpilot overall customer scores appear to be at odds with the customer scores on other sites. For example, Trustpilot score Musicmagpie as ‘4.7' and ‘excellent'. However, other sites rate Musicmagpie much lower. It appears that Trustpilot are manipulating review scores for paying customers. Possibly taking down negative reviews to enhance scores. As a result I'd advise caution before trusting Trustpilot. Look elsewhere for reliable info!
Do not trust any reviews on this web site. If seems like the 1 star reviews are removed but the fake 5 start reviews are kept. This site is heavily biased towards the paying companies. Look at either Google, Yelp or this sitejabber.com
Trust pilot is fake. If a company replies to your review on trust pilot they count that as a review. This site is scum, when are companies go to learn, they take down reviews for no reason except it's a bad review, people go to trust [ trust. Thats a laugh.] pilot to get a honest opinion of a company and all they are getting is lies.
Well, it seemed good at first. They accepted all my reviews... but then their robots decided one of my reviews was spam and all my reviews have disapeared. I can only hope the company disapears.
Maybe i upset them with my brutal honesty. Use this site instead. Unless it also uses robots. Which havent got a clue.
Tip for consumers:
just dont bother... they will erase your hard work.
It seems to be trying to redefine spam as 'negative reviews', as apparently it only accepts positive ones for corporations, as somehow gushing over them isn't at all spam (they also delete them if they are reviews themselves, of course).
Do not use this Thieves. They will use any legislation they make you sign to take your money. I called one of there employees an offensive word apparently. Instead of returning my money they closed the account and I have lost 55,000 usdt I was later introduce by a friend to a company that helps in recovery assets that is how I got half of my assets back through the help of the telegram username below

I would advise everyone who want to invest not to invest in this company
There's no Trust in Trustpilot
In the high-octane world of business and personal development, where integrity and transparency are as vital as the air we breathe, my recent encounter with Trustpilot left a sour taste that no amount of sugar coating can sweeten. Picture this: I engaged in a genuine transaction with SuccessResources, investing not just my money but my faith in their 3Day seminar in Amsterdam, and then I shared my authentic experience on Trustpilot.
What happens next? Trustpilot slaps my company with a label of, pay attention - Selling fake reviews -, a claim as baseless as accusing a bird of talking!
We are a registered Educational Institute in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, nothing to do with selling fake reviews.
Despite arming myself with indisputable proof of my participation (yes, an invoice that's as real as the ground you walk on), Trustpilot stood unmoved, as if my genuine attempt at clarity was invisible to them.
Not one to retreat without a fight, I aimed another arrow of truth by reviewing Trustpilot itself, sharing my experience. The irony? This review was flagged as fake.
Despite presenting a fortress of evidence, including screenshots and case numbers (Ticket number: ******* is one of them) my truth was dismissed, tossed aside like yesterday's news.
This ordeal wasn't just an eye-opener but a clear call to all seekers of genuine feedback platforms: Trustpilot, in its current state, seems more like a court of kangaroos, where evidence leaps through hoops only to be dismissed into the void!
Everyone should question to seek transparency, and to demand a platform where our voices, backed by solid proof, are respected and acknowledged. Trustpilot, in this instance, failed to measure up to these standards, leaving a trail of questions about its commitment to genuine, unadulterated feedback..
After investing a large sum of money in the stock market, I was scammed by this notorious broker known for shady practices. Every time I tried to withdraw my funds, they would give me silly excuses and delay tactics. I became desperate to get my money back, so I decided to seek help from a financial recovery firm. After some research, I stumbled upon CP-INVESTIGATION (.) com and even though they seemed too good to be true, I decided to take a chance on them. When I reached out for help, they were quick to respond and assured me that they could help me recover my investment funds with their years of experience in the financial industry. They also informed me that if the case wasnt successful, then their services would be free of charge.
Tip for consumers:
I trust them with my assets if you find your self in a situation like this text them they will help you

They help me get my money from scam platform .
Trustpilot removed my legitimate review of a small business in my city. They didn't give a reason. No appeal process or anything. Just removed it. So, I reposted it. They removed that one. Again, no explanation other than (paraphrasing) 'according to our algorithms, the review appears to fake'.
Their algorithms appear to be faulty.
Also, I've read countless reviews and subreddits that Trustpilot is shady. Businesses complain Trustpilot tries to coerce/bully businesses into buying their monthly plans to maintain the reviews.
They ask for proof of purchase for askgamblers, why would I give a company that sends people to scam casinos my info. You dont need to purchase anything to use their recommendations and websites. Ofcourse I dont have proof of purchase. Your not getting my info. Nice try. I sent them a pitcure of the backdraft done by my credit card. And they deleted my review lol
Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't trust their positive reviews. Just look at negative ones. Notice the positive reviews are almost all unverified but the negative ones are all verified . strange huh
This review platform is on my nerves. This wont let me publish a review on the business i took service from. Clearly there system is a failure as it wont let a reall client publish a review for a business.
Subject: Issue with Posting Genuine Feedback on Flippa.com
Dear Trustpilot Support Team,
I trust this message finds you well.
I've encountered challenges while attempting to post my genuine feedback for Flippa.com on Trustpilot, along with supporting evidence. Unfortunately, Trustpilot has consistently blocked my feedback, citing various reasons each time.
I understand the importance of maintaining platform integrity, but this recurring issue has raised concerns about the credibility of Trustpilot. It appears that there might be external pressures impacting the transparency of feedback, leading to skepticism about the reliability of Trustpilot reviews.
Upon further investigation, I've noticed a decline in Trustpilot scores on various review websites, indicating a broader trend. This has prompted me to question the trustworthiness of Trustpilot's review system.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution that ensures an unbiased and transparent platform for users to share their genuine experiences.
Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
Best regards,
Chetan
Here are some reasons why you cannot trust Trustpilot:. Loss of Genuine Reviews:
Trustpilot reviews do not reflect the truth as Hundreds if not thousands of genuine reviews are inadvertently removed by Trustpilot without any investigation. Many reviewers may not even be aware that their legitimate feedback has been deleted, or they might not bother to go through the cumbersome process of attempting to reinstate their reviews. Eg. See the attached photo of a genuine review removed by Trustpilot and never reinstated despite submitting evidence of dealing with company incl Policy Number: WS*******!. Lack of Accountability:
Despite Trustpilot's claims of reviewing decisions within two days, there have been cases where reviewers have experienced prolonged delays without any resolution. Lack of Transparency and Censorship:
A particularly alarming aspect of Trustpilot's policies is their refusal to allow negative reviews specifically about their own platform. By removing critical reviews of Trustpilot itself, the company displays a lack of transparency (see attached screenshot of a review about them removed to hide their own rating!. Exploring Alternative Platforms:
There are reliable reviews platforms you can use in particular Google Reviews & SiteJabber.com which reflect reality as they are not removed like Trustpilot genuine reviews.
They keep removing my negative reviews for no reason! Wonder how many times they do this? Alot I guess. Deffinaly do not trust trustpilot, any business that gives them money they will protect with fake reviews and remove any negative reviews without reason!
Tip for consumers:
Take all the positive review with a pinch of salt chances are they are fake. Also if a site has loads of bad reviews they won't be paying trustpilot.
I went on TrustPilot to review a business and it was like walking on hot stones. They set my soul on fire. I was a nervous wreck trying to deal with them.
They do not follow their own rules. They have removed my reviews, modified them, removed them while I was in the middle of writing a response & threatened to remove a review if I didn't modify it within 3 days.
It just happened this week, so I'm extremely upset. They violated my Constitutional Rights to have free speech of written or verbal word. They did not care.
I deleted my account last night. Sitejabber, please do not remove this. These people@ TrustPilot are poison. They break all their own rules.
It was about several reports I filed with Healthunlocked, an online peer support for health issues.
I was already reeling because their hand dandy lie detector said I was lying when in actuality I wrote the truth.
They violated my Constitutional Rights of free speech to the written or verbal word.
I highly do not recommend them@ all.
All you need to do is look at the reviews. There are plenty of review sites you can access that won't twist your words.
Thank you
Pixie Dust
Straight up states they do none of that.
I honestly have to state I found nothing positive about TrustPilot.
Tip for consumers:
Sure, simply stated there are other review venues that are reliable and let you write a truthful review. They should never ask you to modify or remove a review & threaten to take your profile down if you don't comply within 3 days. Thats a huge red flag. Do not use profanity or real names is something important to remember.
They drove me insane & their own reviews about them are horrible. I'm stunned they have survived this long.
They are just not a place to trust with your reviews.
