We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.

In the past, I have been very disappointed when I am tasked with moving my clients' valuables or family heirlooms long distances. Every mover I used in the past let me down on a variety of fronts. Stories that will curl your hair!
So when I had a client needing to ship 10+ furniture items, 3 paintings and 10 boxes of assorted items from Santa Barbara to Nashville, TN, I was concerned and skeptical. On top of this my client was a military family on a budget. I spoke with Chris to get some specifics about the TSI services and to determine whether this move would be a good fit for TSI. We agreed that it was a fit but I was still skeptical. In working with Max Huber, TSI Move Consultant, we were able to price the job in a way that made sense for the client and Max took care of everything from there – coordinating the pick-up and delivery and keeping me up to speed about the whereabouts of the client's items. Max was easy to reach and ready with answers each time I called. Ultimately, the items were delivered earlier than expected and in pristine condition. I spoke to the client the day of delivery and they were thrilled. Much thanks for Chris, Max and the entire team in converting a skeptical move manager into a fan of TSI.

This is the second time I've used TSI. They came on time. Two guys loaded all of my boxes including 10+ XL boxes into their long truck in one hour. Looks like somewhat like a miracle to me.

Tip for consumers:
Use thick boxes this way they won't break in the shipping journey. Put items into large trash bags so that they won't get dusty on the way. better to use less than XL boxes so that the people who have to carry them around won't break their body. XL is what I use, I can't believe anybody can carry them every day of work days without breaking their body. It is expensive to ship things so think again whether to buy again or ship them. I still got to figure out if there are other tips!

Horrible company destroyed both fragile items they packed and delivered. Customer service was unwilling to accept responsibility for their shoddy work. Would not recommend this company to a hated enemy.
Horrible experience. They took months to deliver a dining table set. Lost the chairs. Lie and deceive me and my customer everytime we contacted them. All the care is about getting a one time big payment from you. They don't really care about repeating customers. Or small businesses. Or the sentimental value of your things. They are there to make money. Their prices are outrageous. Ship with Uship by booking small shipping companies of 1 truck
And two guys driving. They care and put love on what they do. And you support small companies and not greedy unethical big corporations like this one
The professionals at TSI were exactly that. Professional! Everything from the initial contact to to delivery went smoothly. Kathy at the main office in PA was extremely responsive and helpful in detailing the care and options available for my shipment (transport of a rare antique sewing cabinet from CA to TX) and made me feel valued as a customer. I was kept informed regarding when the cabinet had been collected, as well as the approximate delivery date. When the cabinet finally arrived, the men delivering and unpacking the cabinet arrived on time and were both friendly and courteous. They un-crated the cabinet on my front porch before carrying it to the exact location I indicated. They encouraged me to inspect the machine... not one scratch! I can not thank TSU enough as they handled this treasured antique as if it were their own.

Despite scheduling for a specific pickup day, they allow themselves 3 days to get material. That means you might end up missing 3 days of work if you have to take off to ensure your presence at pickup.
Additionally, my drop off was not completed 4 times over the span of 6 days without a phone call to say they are not coming. I called and firmly told my agent Max that this has been unpleasant, he offered no compensation, and when I voiced frustration with that, he laughed at me over the phone.
Tip for consumers:
I shipped via TSI. They consistently told me the problem was on the delivery/shipping side. Max my agent did not call once the shippers once for me. Instead, I was the one who called over 15 times to get answers. He laughed at me when I told him this had been unfair.
I canceled my shipment due to a change of plans. As stated in the contract, I was supposed to receive a refund of 90% of the total cost within 10-15 business days. However, after that period, the refund still took long time to be processed. I had to call the office daily for at least two weeks to get a response about my refund, and nobody seem to be sure what was going on. If they have such a bad customer service, I'd be worried about actually using their shipping services.
Needed to move several boxes and china cabinet 1000 miles. Not enough to use U - haul. TSI pick up items quickly and delivered them to destination with no problems or damage. They are making many deliveries so you don't know exact delivery date. They call you the day before arrival to schedule the delivery. No problems. Will us again.
Everything was packaged very carefully. The movers were careful. I was actually very suprised because some other reviews were less than favorable. Highly recommend and I would definitely use them again!

We were so happy to find this company when it was time to move college kid's 10 boxes of stuff across the country. They sent out the boxes with extras, and only charged for the ones actually shipped. They arranged pickup and delivery, and it was so much easier than we imagined. They kept in constant contact with us to let us know where everything was, and followed up afterwards to make sure we were happy. A fabulous choice for any small move!
Moved a grandfather clock from Michigan to Virginia. Had to change details regarding pickup times. Kathy was wonderful, obviously cared, took care of details, and kept me informed. I was not an easy customer, but she aced it.
Not impressed with TSI. The first crew scheduled to pick up the furniture no-showed and claimed we weren't at home. That was a total lie. TSI did reschedule with a different crew to pick up later in the week. That second crew arrived on schedule. When the goods were delivered, the packing seemed fine. There was some minor damage and an ornament on one piece of furniture was missing. That is when I found out the buying insurance through TSI is not worth it. FYI, you will not receive any information on the term and conditions for the insurance. I also encourage you to google the carrier TSI uses, Relocation Insurance, before buying coverage.
I booked w/them in Aug for a Sept date. I let them know I didn't need it right away but had a drop dead date. 5 reschedules later when I asked to speak with a manager I was given the run around. I'm an attempt to get someone lane attention their response was I didn't like their answer. I let them know this shipment was of great sentimental value because items belonged to my mom and I needed them removed before my dads closing date. Many broken promises later I could not get the delivered and lost the items to goodwill because my dad could not move on his own. This company said it's my fault for not making it a priority which I was never told was an option. I paid in full upfront and if I needed additional help it would come at an extra cost. Sorry for my frustration but not sorry you could be accountable for your own actions. Nothing but a scam.
I had to move on short notice. Within a week of my lease expiring I was able to schedule a pickup for 12 boxes. I booked my order through Kathy which was great and very accesible throughout the process. Boxes arrived to my final destination in just six business days. (They has promised 5-7 days) Scheduling the delivery was a quick and easy process. Definitely recommend for small moves.
Furniture item was wrapped in a shipping blanket and moving shrink wrap. Delivered without either and grease marks on the surface. Deliverers said that's how they picked it up at the warehouse. I took extra care. TSI didn't.
One glass item was broken in transport but we packed it and I do not blame TSI. Would like to have had email updates sometime between pick up and 2 days before delivery. Antique grandfather clock was handled with kid gloves!
Haven't rec'd my quote yet, but the excellent reviews and very easy to use website enticed me to inquire right at the beginning of my research. I'm a first time shipper. They sound almost too good to be true. We shall see.
The movers were very courteous, helpful and handled everything with care when they picked up items.
Unfortunately, approximately at least 60 percent of items were cracked or broken even though they were wrapped in bubble wrap individually and protected with towels, blankets etc for protection. All items shipped belonged to a 99 year old lady and all held many memories (including a number of ceramics handmade by family in Italy). All packing boxes were marked Fragile on all four sides. So many memories destroyed between California and Texas.
Shipping went well. Pricing was fair. Had issue with a delivery driver refusing help to unload. Then was billed an additional $75 weeks later because the driver checked a box, after we signed, and I was charged for lift gate use.
Minor hiccup in the beginning, but quickly resolved. Overall, we are glad we chose TSI, they truly care about their customers and they made sure to check in with us throughout the whole process and were able to ship our stuff within the promised time frame. We will definitely use their service in the future. Thank you guys so much for all your help.
I sent two different shipments. The one sent to Rochester NY had a broken table leg. I know that leg had previously been repaired, but it was strong and functional when it left my home in Larkspur CA.
Otherwise, both shipments were well handled on my end at departure.
You guys were great in the beginning very attentive. Your pricing was wrong even though the information was given so it was sticker shock when the true price came in. You were very helpful in getting it organized and picked up. It was supposed to be delivered last week, Wednesday or Thursday, there was a weather delay which is understandable so it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. There has been no communication, contact, etc. I still don't have my shipment or know where it is so sending me a survey asking how my experience has been is a little premature and probably not the best timing for an accurate evaluation on my part.
My experience was good other than the picking up of the mattress. I was told it would happen one day and then it ended up happening at the very last minute the next. It was really tight for time and made me nervous. They could do a better job of scheduling the pick ups more precisely instead of it just being an all day waiting game. Also having a phone number of the actual pick up driver would have been helpful.
