We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.
I got a response from my web query almost before I made the actual phone call. I am happy with the information and rates provided. I hope I will feel this way when our family heirloom is finally here with me.
Thank you,
Susan
I have one big concern and that is coordinating the delivery with the receiver's requested time period.
I had requested first of day and was given 10:30 to 2:30 window which meant I had to take a day off from work.
THe delivery actually took no more than 20 minutes and the 2 men were terrific.
I think you should do better in accommodating the customer's schedule.
This company only had to deliver 2 pieces of furniture and 7 boxes. My beautiful Chinese chest arrived with the doors pushed in and one was actually broken. Not very good care but worse was that my calls to claim insurance reimbursement were ignored. DO NOT USE THEM!
They are not responsible enough to care about a $500 bike. We sold our home in AZ furnished. We only shipped 9 boxes/totes, two sets of golf clubs and my bike. The reason we went with TSI vs UPS or Fed Ex was the bike. First problem was we hired and paid them about 1200. 00 on Oct 2. We were told a 14 day pickup window. Had to call and beg for a pickup 15 days later because we sold our home and needed to be out soon. TSI hired some outfit out of Torrance CA to pick up our shipment. Two people with a U Haul picked up our stuff. Drove it from Phoenix to Torrance. (final destination Wisconsin). It sat it Torrance for weeks. This is where someone helped themselves to my bike. (Sun Streamway). Anyway, from start to finish it took 58 days. Communication was awful. No apology for my bike going missing. TSI provided NO compensation. None. Beware!
I shipped a corner cabinet that was very heavy and hard to maneuver out of the shipping house and into the receiving house. Transit System movers handled the job with ingenuity and precision. I would highly recommend using them again.
The lady was full of $#*!. Cannot trust a company like that. Rude on the phone. Does not want to explain the service correctly and she said " nobody tamked to me like that". She thinks she is a princess but she is just a customer service representative. She also was astonished i am a buskness owner. Rude. Arrogant. Owners, fire this lady, she needs to work to Mac do, where she belongs.
I reached out to get a quote for packing & shipping a 40lb piece of art from Murrell Inlet, SC to Fort Worth, TX with dimensions approximately 3.5 feet by 2.5 feet.
I already received a quote for $400. When I received the quote from TSI, I almost had a heart attack. These clowns--specifically Carol T--quoted $1216 and said I better order ASAP to get on schedule.
Incredulous, I responded back. Unsurprisingly, Carol T stuck her tail between her legs and didn't even reply. In fact, she didn't even read--or has trouble reading--the actual request because her response says they'll arrive to pack the furniture items. No furniture here. Just one piece of heavy art.
GOOD LUCK GETTING A QUOTE FROM TSI. I'll never request one from them again--I ship art weekly--unless I start enjoying getting bent over. Of course, it doesn't take long from a Google search to realize this is normal practice for these frauds who only want to take advantage of you.
TSI is one of the few shipping companies that would do a white glove shipping from Florida to California. The entire process form beginning to end was incredibly smooth. The sunroom furniture was handled and wrapped securely and arrived in perfect condition. The order was finalized and place on March 16, it was picked up in Venice, FL on March 20 and arrived at our home in Palm Springs, CA on April 8. We couldn't be happier, thank you TSI.

Whatever you do, don't use TSI Shipping. The company claims to give white glove service and specialty packing to irreplaceable antiques. But for my move, TSI hired an absolute idiot who threw my mom's buffet on the dolly without wrapping it in anything! I was having the piece moved from Indiana to my home in Florida. A security guard and caregiver were both so shocked and appalled at the treatment of this furniture that they called me. The buffet is scratched and now has wood pieces missing, and the idiot also put drinks on top of the wood...so there are markings from that. TSI said it was my fault for not purchasing additional insurance. I wasn't looking to make money. I just wanted the furniture properly wrapped and delivered as other movers, who don't even specialize in antiques, would have done. I spent $1,047 for this aggravation. It would have been more satisfying to throw that money in the trash. Also, the company demanded to be paid in full up front. That should have been a red flag to me.
I was initially excited about using this company because everything online appears to be very professional and it was one of the first companies to pop up in my search. I contacted them online for a quote and an automated quote was sent immediately with contact information. They automatically started sending generated emails from an assigned logistics manager. In my case, it was Kathy Temple. I called her directly and a guy answered the phone. He was very nice, but mumbled under his breath that they were "so behind" and he just needed to "finish up this one task." After keeping me on hold so he could finish "that one task," he transferred me to Kathy's line, which she did not answer. I left a voicemail and let her know that I would follow-up via email with my questions. When I sent the email, I got an automated response saying it would take a little longer than usual to get back to me because of the high volume. This was three weeks ago and I never received a call or an email back. Not only that, but I stopped receiving emails, which means they had time to remove me from their system, but not to respond! I completely understand reaching out to let a potential customer know you are at capacity and cannot take any additional reservations at that time, but to be completely unresponsive is unprofessional and downright rude. I would never recommend this company and suggest you seek another shipping company to handle your goods. If this is the level of service they provide from the start (or lack thereof), you can bet on having additional issues with your move.
Warning to everyone- DO NOT use this shipping company! I paid over $1100 to have 13 small boxes of personal and work items moved from NY to CA. All 13 boxes arrived damaged and opened. My boxes were loaded on a pallet and sealed at pickup, and were sealed upon delivery, but somehow an additional box of expensive medical equipment that is not mine ended up in my shipment ($2500 value). My boxes were all torn apart, untaped, and opened up inside my pallet. Even worse, I was told I needed to be home for delivery to help unload, and given a 5 hr window so we both took the day off (since I was on crutches at the time). We waited all day and didn't hear anything. Turns out my boxes were dropped off in the front of our building with no notice and the delivery driver forged my signature. I spoke with their quality assurance manager Renee Goryl (who has been incredibly rude and unhelpful) and they refuse to refund any of my money and offered me a $100 amazon card instead. This service was awful- they literally had ONE JOB- to deliver my stuff safely and they failed to do it and pocketed the money anyway.
I shipped my mattress from CA to NH. I received the package completed damaged and dirt and stains all over my mattress. But they accepted my claim and refunded total $7.
We shipped a mattress and couple of box springs from CA to TX that came in absolutely destroyed. The cardboard boxes were peeled off, the box springs had the metal frames bent to pieces and stabbing through the fabric. With all the positive feedback online we felt like our case had to be an exception. I reached out to customer service about filing insurance claim ($0.10 per lb so no money at all but still) and we discussed the condition of the packages. Jessica was my representative and she made everything better in one email. She assured me this was not acceptable or standard and sent us a gift card without hesitation or request. Solid customer service and empathy fixed a poor experience immediately. Would use TSI again with no worries. Thanks again to Jessica for the professionalism and save.
My sales person Tom Tract was very personable and informative. I liked his straightforward explanation of information needed, but at the same time very friendly, which is so important when it comes to customer service.
Sincerely,
Karen Krohn
Communication in moving antique furniture from one state to another can be a tedious process. Transit systems made us feel very comfortable and that we chose the right company. Knowledgeable and courteous staff made it easy!
Great service. Follow-up emails appreciated. Phone call response and availability of personnel was quick. Rates were less than anyone else I called. Easy to work with and accommodating when scheduling pick-up. Glad I found them on the internet!
The Company sent a great team of two out to move my 86 year old mother's belongings into her new apartment at an independent senior living facility.
They were professional, kind and great to work with.
Thank you so much!
Marcy
Everything went smoothly... Furniture was picked up and arrived at the destination a few weeks earlier than expected!... All pieces were wrapped and in great condition... Would definitely use Transit Systems again!
Family heirloom secretary desk being shipped to Idaho from Texas! So far, so good. Got it arranged with only one call back required. Reassured that they "ship old Secretaries like this all the time." Let'er rip!
From beginning to end, my experience with TSI was outstanding. Their customer service was professional, helpful and prompt. They returned every call and email within minutes providing explicit details. There were no hidden costs (one company I called wanted to charge me per foot from the truck to the door). I was having a very special piece transported from Baltimore, MD to Richmond, VA. It was picked up on time, wrapped meticulously and delivered without incident. When the delivery guys got caught in bad traffic they called immediately to alert me. I highly recommend this company and will use them again.
Guys showed up on time, took pics, wrapped everything carefully & loaded without incident. White glove service was perfect & the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again as needed & highly recommend to others. Great Job!
The whole TSI process was top notch! Communication, ETA, etc. all went as discussed. I was unfamiliar with TSI and somewhat apprehensive at shipping a lovely piece of furniture In this manner...all handled carefully and professionally... have already recommended them... would definitely use them again!
I am being asked questions that right now are not really relevant because I have only submitted the requested information to get a quote. After having more contact with your firm the questions could then logically be answered!
Website said quotes would be received within gone hour of request when made weekdays before 5:00. I did not get my quote until 2 pm Saturday - 24 hours later. I emailed yesterday to see where my quote was - no response.
The quote was for $371. Unreal. UPS was $174 and I could have gone with them and been half of your quote.mi ended up shipping FedEx Ground for $55. Weight 60 lbs. You totally failed and I will never use you again or recommend you to anyone.
We sent two large chairs and ottomans from MA to Key West,FL. The items were picked up, wrapped and on their way on time as promised. The furniture arrived in a timely fashion, before the expected date. Both crews were very professional and polite. I would do business with this company any day! Great work.
TSI's white glove service includes two men at the origin. Who load the items (blanket wrap) on the truck or local terminal and transport the shipment to its destination where they unload and unwrap the furniture and deliver inside. This service was done however there was some minor damage which TSI handled and paid out to the customer based on the coverage listed for the shipment. Unfortunately, in addition to the claim, the customer demanded a refund for shipping and if we did not comply, they threatened to report to social media. We state in our terms and conditions that any damage will be handled via insurance claim and not with a refund.
