We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.
I should have looked at the reviews here before using this company to ship my mattress from Charlotte, NC to Seattle, WA. The mattress was picked up September 3rd and per them it takes 20 Business days to delivery as an estimate. I understand that things happen.
So let's see, 20 business days from Sep 3 is Oct 1. When we called back to check on the status on Sep 26, they gave us an estimate of Oct 7 week (beware of the wording) this means Oct 7 till 11. So that is already 4-8 days over their estimated date. We got our mattress on Oct 14, Monday, which ended up being 9 business days over the estimation. But, No since they don't have any policy for what is considered late, it's all subjective they are not taking responsibility for the late delivery service. Jon and Robert Whitehead who I talked to basically said, well things happen that are beyond their control and this was all ACCEPTABLE for them according to the company. Late delivery is all acceptable since everything is estimated they can use that as a blanket term to cover their incompetency.
I CANNOT and WILL NOT recommend this company to anyone.
Absolute worst experience of my life. My daughter moved from California to Colorado. I was quoted 5 days. # weeks later she finally got her mattress and box spring. The communication was horrible. They said they would call me back...never did. They finally stopped all communication.
So far my service has been completely unacceptable and was not explained the conditions of the contract up from to suit needs. Now it is costing me much more than expected after giving up a competitor's bid for now the same service but cheaper and faster.
We had several items damaged in transit - specifically a maple desk and a one year old 40" LED TV. The TV, which cost $400, had clearly been dropped (or something dropped on it in the upper right corner) and was damaged beyond repair. Our only recourse was to file a claim with the delivery firm, American Van Lines, which we did. They denied our claim, saying the damage occurred prior to their part of the move. So, I expect we'll have to "bite the bullet" and buy a new TV, since we have no recourse path to the original company who picked up the belongings. This is just the "icing on the cake" of a horrible moving experience. I would never recommend Transit Systems to coordinate any moves whatsoever for anyone.
I highly recommend transit systems for your shipping needs. It is nice to have a one stop shop from home where you can arrange to ship most anything from anywhere to anywhere. In my case the Florida Keys. Such a simple process and friendly staff. I would use them again in a heartbeat!
Very professional job but price seemed high considering distance (NY to Boston). Another person I know paid a little more than I did for a much longer cross country trip. Differing price didn't make sense to me. But no complaints about service and white glove service. I would definitely recommend to others. Thanks.
Finding the company was one click on the computer, email was answered quickly, phone calls were handled by professional people. But most importantly, the chest of drawers was picked up in California as promised, wrapped and packed perfectly and delivered to me in North Carolina during the several days the I would be home.
I am very pleased with this professional company.

I found TSI was very consumer friendly when compared to other vendors in the market. The shipping process can be quite the maze when it is not part of your norm. TSI ease that process, they provided a no hassle free personal service that I would definitely use again.
All went well. We appreciate the flexibility on both ends. My daughter had her work completed on her house and she contacted the local contact and they delivered two days ago. No damage that they can see. They assembled it for her.

Great Small Move with TSI!
We had a fabulous experience with moving a very full dorm room's worth of stuff cross country with TSI. They took care of everything, sending out boxes and packing material, arranging for pick up and delivery, and at a very reasonable price. The customer service was excellent, with ongoing communication from Heather in the office. They answered all our questions, and helped with all our needs. Great company, great service, would absolutely use them again.
One can find several shipping service companies on the web. After much deliberation we chose Transit Systems because its website was very helpful and our privacy was respected throughout our decision making process. The people who handled our phone questions and the man who picked up our shipment were courteous and friendly. We felt the price was fair, as well. We would highly recommend your services.
My shipment ended up missing and I'm still missing another box from New York to California. My mattress was dirty and boxes were open. Every time I called I was told I would hear back and never did. I was promised my items would arrive by Monday and they didn't come until Wednesday with 1/6 boxes. There is no communication whatsoever.
The managers that I spoke to were nice but yet again I have not received word about my missing
Box.

310 dollars for shipping? I thought priority mail was too expensive at 56 dollars and you listed package at 29 pounds I got quotes from usps FedEx and UPS for the actual weight of 65 lbs. Your prices are absolutely outrageous.
Workers on both sides of the pick up and delivery were GREAT. Almost didn't go with TSI because the price was higher, but service was strong. Wish calls came from a central number as they came from all over the place and I had to screen them as phone spam first, but not sure if that could happen. Overall, service made this worth it.
This was the best experience we ever had with a moving company. We moved a few items from Texas to California. This company accommodated our schedule every step of the way. They were clean, polite and called us often to update us on the shipment. It arrived in a timely manner and exactly the day they predicted. Very happy with this company and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to move distances, long or short.

The customer service with transitsystems was excellent. They were always courteous, professional and quick to return emails and phone calls. We selected the economy service to ship our king size tempur-pedic mattress from Texas to California. The drivers on both ends were very extremely friendly and helpful. The mattress arrived in perfect condition and the transit time was incredible fast. I will not hesitate to use them again.

I needed to send an 1885 antique bed frame from Minnesota to Illinois. TSI worked carefully with me to determine the best pick up time, wrapped it carefully for transport and it is on its way. They have kept the receiver well informed of the estimated arrival time.
I contracted and paid in advance to have 10 boxes packed and shipped along with some household items. When the mover arrived, they had no packing materials and did not pack the boxes as agreed and paid for. I have been waiting 6 months for a refund on the packing and cannot get anyone to contact me or work with me despite repeated phone calls and emails. I would not use this company again and would recommend no one else do so either.
We moved 3 medium, 2 large and 5 extra large U Haul boxes of clothes, etc from Missouri to our new home in California. It was easy to set up and Gina was very helpful. Everything arrived within a week and boxes were in good shape. Good communication through the process
Pick up was 3 months after I paid. Drop off late. NOT packed well. Damage occurred on one of the brass parts of the 1900 circa Grandfather clock. Will NEVER use this company again and will tell everyone I know of the shoddy work.
I have a few special items that I need to move from the Midwest to the Southeast US. I paid for the entire move in full. Three weeks later and two last-minute cancellations by the movers, I am fed up. I have dealt with many moving companies in the past but this is by far the worst experience that I have had. What makes matters worse is that my calls and emails have gone unanswered. At least I can reverse the charge on my credit card for services not rendered. Find another company for your move.
Our move, #******* was originally requested for 10/5 - 10/7 and, once set up, changed to 10/7 - 10/9. I have been in contact with, and left messages for Alan Silverman co confirm our move - hopefully for 10/7 - 10/8, with no tangible response. I am concerned because we have made arrangements for the remainder of our furnishings to be donated to Habitat and our flight up north are scheduled for 10/10, am. So far, this has not been a very satisfactory experience, to say the least.
