We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.
Carol Tract has been wonderful to work with. She gets back to me promptly with every question I've had. She is extremely knowledgeable. She made it easy to chose your company over all the other moving companies I've contacted for quotes.
Carol with TSI was prompt to respond to questions, flexible in providing quotes to my different shipping option questions and followed up afterward. She appropriately set my expectations on timing of pickup and delivery. Shippers on both ends were in communication to schedule arrangements and called prior to arrival, were respectful and careful with our furniture, and delivered without damage.
Based on my experience I would highly recommend TSI.
I had a small move across country during a pandemic which meant I could not drive my things. TSI cost a fraction of what a regular mover would have cost if they took such a load, and I saved quite a bit on postage. I still need a few things moved, and plan to use them again soon.
Be very careful when dealing with this company. No one ever told me there is a 10% cancellation penalty. The only reason that I decided to cancel my order was because their "Terms & Conditions" were not acceptable to me. The "Terms & Conditions" are only available AFTER you give them your credit card information. WHAT? How can this be legal? They will tell you they are rated AAA by the Better Business Bureau, but be careful.
Net, net I still want my stuff moved, but now I am down $180 and 3 business days time.
In the process of selling our piano we had several inquiries requiring a shipping cost quote. I appreciated TSI's quick response in every case. The clearly communicated each step in the shipping process from pickup to delivery. The movers that arrived to pickup the piano were very professional, polite, and friendly. Their skill and detail attention packaging the piano erased any worries the Stienway would arrive safely and in good condition - which it did. If any of my friends or family need to move a large item, I will strongly recommend TSI is their first call.
Shipped a few pieces of furniture from TX to MA and the entire shipping process with TSI was seamless. Pickup was completed as scheduled. They carefully wrapped the pieces before loading onto the truck and everything arrived in good condition.
Timeliness of delivered quote was not as stated. The actual quote was more than 3 times higher than other quotes received. Also only one quote option was provided. If in fact there is a lower option it sure was not initially or readily made available. 4 quotes levels were requested.
I purchased a beautiful two piece antique desk set from an auction house in Philadelphia and needed to have it shipped to my home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon suggestion from several auction bidder friends I contacted TSI to arrange shipping. To say I was nervous is an understatement. All I did was give details of the pickup point and the desk particulars and TSI took care of every thing else. The shipment arrived on time, was packed to eliminate damage and the delivery crew were professional and very helpful. I highly trust TSI and will trust them with any future shipping needs that I might have. These are good, caring folks who communicate with you from pickup to delivery. By the way, I am former military and I am extremely fussy with how things are handled.
Your pick up time (2pm to 6pm) is very unpleasant. One of my customers ha to meet the truck to get his package. In another picked up the driver arrived 6:15 pm. And now you can not track your shipment online what totally does not work for me.
I guess I didn't realize shipping was so expensive! I think I could drive the piece myself for less. Not your fault, rates are similar everywhere. Guess I'll just keep the $200 dresser.

Everyone on staff was friendly leaps and bounds above what you usually receive with customer service, and the drivers were so kind and helpful! I would recommend Transit Systems to anyone I know with something to move.
I haven't shipped nor received a shipment yet. I'm only in the process of acquiring a quote, but I absolutely love the idea that I can get an approximate dollar quote by entering information online. What a great service because sometimes you don't want to speak with a pushy salesperson because you need a general idea of what your cost will be. Awesome service of receiving a general quote online!

Overall great experience! Great price, communication, and super fast delivery! Boxes and shrink wrap provided to ship mattress and box springs were difficult to package up but in the end it worked out.

From the initial contact with TSI through the delivery of our furniture items, everything was handled efficiently and professionally. You kept us informed and picked up and delivered our items at the times promised and in good condition. We could not have asked for more. I would not hesitate to recommend TSI. Thank you.
It was difficult to get in touch with someone. I paid immediately upon receiving the invoice. Once I paid, the item was not shipped. Two weeks later the seller emailed me a reminder because he was being charged a storage fee. I called to clarify my payment was received. It was a long hold for them to find my paid invoice. I'm assuming the item has shipped now. I have not received tracking or an estimated delivery date. I probably would not use your services again.

My e-mail was the one on file, but I only got one update, pick up, which I already knew. I found out it had been delivered to the restoration person when she called me. (I had checked in with TSI 24 hours before and they had no information - they told me to call back in three days!)
Carol T was the best. Quick, efficient and helpful. By far the best price by 50%. Small haul NY-Palm Springs only 15 boxes a bike and TV. Pick up scheduled for next day, delivery 3-6 days. So far so great
Friendly and responsive staff at Transit Systems. The piano was picked up 16 business days after scheduling, though I received a phone call from a mover saying it wouldn't be picked up until 14 days later. Time was important due to the sale of our house, so after calling Transit in a state of minor panic, Operations was able to get the piano picked up the day I had been told that it would be. It was delivered 8 days later. As it turned out, the movers who delivered were only a two man team and had a very difficult time, understandably, getting the piano up the stairs which were on the invoice. My husband helped them out with the last four steps. Two very nice men, but they could have used some more help for a piano delivery. I was concerned that someone may get hurt. The piano arrived safely and honestly, that's what matters the most to me. My piano is like one of the family.
The customer service from TSI was fine, but we couldn't be more disappointed with the actual moving company. Our dining room furniture was delivered, only after our inquiry, about a month later than promised. And the furniture was badly damaged, 3 out of 4 broken table legs and 4 damaged (in pieces) chairs. I don't know why the moving company bears no responsibility for the damage. I did alert TSI to the poor outcome, hoping that that moving company will no longer be used; I have not received any response from TSI.
I shipped 3 boxes and a mattress and box spring from NY to TX. All 3 boxes arrived ripped and damaged, the boxspring box was mostly intact, but the mattress had somehow broken through both ends of its box and acquired a massive grease stain along one side. I used to work as a furniture mover and I have extensive experience packing and shipping boxes and assorted furniture. I can't even imagine how these boxes got so damaged. I can only suspect that this company doesn't care who they ship through or how well that shipping company will treat your belongings.
The pricing was very competitive but I guess you get what you pay for.
I tried to call two times and both times the recording kept repeating no matter how many times I hit the button (1). Then I was cut off and an operator came on saying if you would like to make a call, please dial a phone number. Not easy.
Everything was great with the shipment. I received my materials on time, pick up was on time and delivery was quick. However a week after receiving my items, I received and email stating I would be charged an additional $50 for not providing the bill of lading to the pick up person. I did however provide this document and had all papers and information printed out for the driver. I tried to explain this to Kathy Temple who was not responsive to my feedback and put an unauthorized charge of $50 on my credit card. For a good experience I will not use your services again or recommend you to a friend as I followed all instructions as told, and was charged additionally because your company misplaced the paperwork.
We had 4 incongruent items shipped from my father-in-law's home in California to all the way east to our son's apartment in Maryland. Prep instructions & communication w/TSI was clear & easy. Pick up & delivery was prompt & on time, & everything arrived as it had been picked up. And that included delivery to a 4th floor walk up apartment. We would definitely use TSI again, & would highly recommend this company. Thank you.
I was so happy to find TSI shipping services since I needed to ship valuable estate items but I had a small load. TSI's prices were $1000 cheaper than the next competitor, plus the packing of fragile items and the addition of a small item at the last minute really helped my entire shipping experience go really well. My only problem with TSI was that the window for delivery was not communicated well. It was moved several times and much later than originally quoted. I understand that TSI operates differently than the moving companies, but it was hard to make time to be at home for the shipment. Also, my items were shipped from my brother's house and the dispatcher kept calling him rather than me for the arrival window of my items.
The bottom line: my very expensive, antique, family heirloom mirror was handled very carefully and arrived in perfect condition. Very professional service, great communication, and timely delivery. One phone call accomplished everything and required no action from me or my family. It was white-glove treatment all the way; they picked the mirror up at my brother's house in Texas, crated it professionally, transported it, uncrated it at my house in Virginia, and placed it right where we wanted it in my house. It was a very simple and trouble-free process. I would definitely use TSI again to move a valuable item and highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service.
