We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.
There was a very long period of time between the pickup and delivery - over 6 weeks. No feedback given about the status of the shipment during this time period. I had to call/email 2 X to find out status.
When I was given a status - they said shipment would be delivered on the next Saturday/Sunday - which was a weekend I was out of town. They did not ASK if this would be convenient. I made special arrangements to have someone at my home to meet the shippers on the Saturday. They did not show up. Really frustrating. Then I had to call the company to find out status. I was told - not asked - that they would deliver on the following Wednesday. The delivery people were courteous and my fragile items arrived intact and in good condition. Overall I am not recommending this company to friends and family who need things shipped.
There was confusion on the delivery because they were using the wrong number to contact the recipient. But it was handled professionally and attentively. It's not whether you make a mistake, it's how it's handled once it's addressed. TSI did a very good job of handling the problem.
We're still waiting for your response as to having a truck pick up the items from stop two to deliver to stop one. Your driver delivered all of the items to one stop even though we paid to have things delivered at two. Once I know whether you can resolve this, I can more fairly determine happiness with your product. Kathy is seeing to it at your end. Thanks.
Your website sucks. It promised an instant quote...and quite clearly it does not provide this. SO, it really sucks to be a company so desperate for business that misleading website advertising makes your company a greedy bunch of liars by promising one thing and not delivering. What an absolute waste of my time.
You service was terrific and movers very efficient and polite. Most helpful was you phone representative, or scheduler. She had all the information I needed to decide if your service fit our needs, she clearly communicated all additional information that may be helpful to the customer in making the move easier and most efficient, and was available and answered questions when I called as the process went on. She was amazing!
My Cullen Lefchak deserves kudos and high recognition for his guidance with my curb-to-curb delivery preparation. Cullen is very professional and responds immediately to my emails or cell calls. He'll admit when he doesn't have an answer; however, Cullen will research and get back to you. I recommend him to set up your delivery!
We could not be happier with the furniture shipment through Transit Systems. With the White Glove service they took care of everything. When the management firm of the apartment building was extremely difficult to deal with Tom Tract worked through it and got it done.
There was very little communication about the ~45 day transit for my item. I had to call more than once, and received ambiguous statements about its location, and especially the delivery date and time.
The second point is that the clock had a damaged spindle part in the clock works. It may have happened in transit, and the person who owned the clock prior to its shipping to me maintains that it wasnt broken.
Your price quote is over the top. I can get a better price using FedEx or UPs and don't have to go thru all the drama of packaging the item. For being a freight service your pricing is way out of line.
TSI was perfect for my needs: moving the contents of a small apartment across the country. At the same time I needed to drive across the country myself, and customer service was excellent in coordinating the move so that my boxes arrived at my destination a couple of days after I did. Courteous, professional service on both ends and wonderful telephone support all the way. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. So nice to have one thing in a big cross-country move go perfectly!
Company charged me over double my original quote because they said my weight was off. This happened over a month after the pickup. No call, no warning- just charged my card. If my weight was off that much, it seems I should have been notified way before now. Not cool- seems shady. Not a company I will use again.
I was really amazed at how good you all were at what you do! My phone contact initially was friendly and professional and personable and made me feel I was in good hands. The two guys who collected my stuff in Illinois were nice, efficient but not crazy fast, and they took care of my stuff. They packed some china; other boxes I had packed. Ditto on the delivery end: they were efficient and careful even though they had a delivery before and after mine that day.
My last moving experience had been quite awful so this one was not just a joy but a surprise at how good it was!
Faulty communication about one item and delayed delivery of that item. Said it would come later, said it would come with rest of items, did not come. Indicated missing item on paperwork, driver seemed aware of issue. I expected follow up, heard nothing so I called. Report item was damaged and needed repair. Eventually that item delivered almost three weeks later.
The staff that I spoke with on the phone and the person who delivered were great. The lazy, uncooperative, useless driver that refused to pick up my items, causing me to have to move everything to a storage unit at U-Haul for a later pick up, probably shouldn't be used as a reliable driver. Granted I had more than I was originally quoted, and happily paid the difference. I am 5'4 120 lbs female, and I drove 40 minutes round trip to load and unload a U-Haul in 1 hour and 30 minutes. I would have loaded the truck for the lazy driver, but he just didn't want to do the job. Oh! And that was after completely driving by the house and lying about calling me, the customer, the day prior (originally scheduled pick up date).
Truck did not show up to pick up shipment after waiting home all day.
Called company which did not help. The shipping manager never answers phone or returns calls.
As for delivery when I called for status I was told truck already came but could not get into neighborhood. No one called me. When I called TSI I had to call to line for new service in order to get to speak with someone. Only after demanding shipment had to come that day because I was leaving area did truck driver come back. He met me a few blocks away as truck was to large for street. I had to put shipment on top of car and slowly drive back to house. Shipment flew off top of car. A nightmare!
The website is clear, easy to work through, which is a extremely helpful for individuals that do not routinely ship items large items. This is a difficult request; it is likely the shipping cost exceeds the value of the item. I'm doing my best to evaluate best options. Hoping this works out!
Horrible, horrible, horrible. Isaac v. took my money for the shipment, had me waiting all day and at the last minute right before end of business on a Friday before a holiday weekend, dispatcher calls and says they are not coming because driver had no palet and shrink wrap to keep my boxes together. I had a flight out the next morning I called back and told transit systems. Victor managed to get the dispatcher to send another driver if I agreed to label all my boxes with the destination address. I waited until 7:30. When the driver gets here, he asks for the bill of lading, which I was never sent. I had never heard of it, Isaac never mentioned it, I didn't even know what it was. I spent an hour with the driver, his dispatcher, and this supervisor from hpo logistics trying to get this pickup to happen. They would not pickup without a bill of lading. I had to reschedule my flight and change all my plans. Thanks transit systems. I'll be sure to let everyone know how awful you guys are.
You guys were really expensive, but no different than a competitor I checked. I also was pretty surprised to have to pay the whole thing up front. Otherwise, we thought the whole experience was seamless.
Antique bookcase was carefully wrapped and delivered in perfect condition! Notification of pick up and delivery was good-status of shipping and anticipated delivery dates could be better but overall very satisfied with the service received.
For several years I kept things with a friend after moving Valuables and fragile. Family heirloom. It was risky to carry in suitcases. And drive to a distant state for 25 hours. Not real for me. And I found this wonderful company. Problem solved. I highly recommend and use the services of this company myself. I spoke on the phone with Mr. Williams, a very qualified specialist. All explained to me in detail. Immediately gave me an approximate price for different types of transportation. And he offered me a better deal. Set a day and the track came minute by minute. Very good service. They helped me load my boxes and they went from Kentaky to california. My load arrived on time and in safety. Thank you very much. I will definitely use your services several more times and recommend to my friends
The company that dropped off my freight was Conway and their driver "Lewis" (I think his name was) was so respectful and helpful. He even dropped the boxes off right in the living room for me! I will definitely be using transit systems again
My board was shipped and completely destroyed. I was never told I had different insurance options. I was only told I had an option to pack it myself or have you pack it. The sales reps who I dealt with were unhelpful, unaccountable, and rude! I would not recommend this company to anyone! They have not followed through on anything regarding reimbursement for my board either. It's been a nightmare! DO NOT USE THEM.
I had approximately 20 boxes shipped in November from Las Vegas, Nevada to Detroit, Michigan.
TSI's customer service was easy to deal with, and the price, although high, was about the same as all the other providers. The boxes were shipped quickly, and I received them within about 2 weeks. However, the tops of many of the boxes were crushed, and they looked as if they had been thrown around the warehouse or dropped from heights. They also looked as if they had been left out in the rain for a while at some point. They were delivered on a pallet with some shrink wrap around them, but certainly not waterproof. The top of the pile was exposed to the rain (it was raining when they were delivered). I consider myself lucky to have received all of my boxes, but obviously, they were not well cared for during the trip, and left out in the weather, as well as dropped or thrown around a warehouse. Don't use TSI if you can avoid it.
Customer services was fantastic when I was scheduling my pickup and when I first paid. The movers were kind when they picked up my items and then when they dropped them off. I wish my items had been actually taken care of though. I shipped a beautiful birch platform bed frame, a mattress and two boxes of clothes. I witnessed the movers bumping into walls and ceilings on the walk up with the pieces of my bed frame and it arrived back to me with chips of wood missing all over. Its essentially ruined. It's really unfortunate and I would not recommend this service because the very thing it's meant to do, safely transport items, it has failed miserably at.
I was excited about finding a company that I believed would combine my articles for shipment with other articles of shipment from other customers. It sounded like the perfect way to get somethings to my family approximately 900 miles from me. Because I believed it was a combined shipment with others I also assumed the price would be more reasonable. For $1900 I could have hired a rental truck and flown my son-in-law in to drive it back. I appreciate the time and the quote but will not be using them at this time.
