We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.
This is the second time I am using transit systems to handle my move. I've already done the research and I had such a perfect experience the first time I did not hesitate to use them again! I will be posting a Yelp review after this second move with a review regarding both moves.
I received my shipment one car short. Courtney is still to this day missing. When I called about the missing carton I was told I would receive a call back. I called at least four times more In regards to remedying the situation. I never received a follow up phone call. The last time I called I spoke with Mr. Steve Sergeant. I was told that he had to speak with his manager to see if there was anything that can be done as far as compensation. I still have not received a call back to this day.
Overall excellent experience at very competitive price based on my shopping around. Delivery was one day late versus schedule, but that was due to snow storm in area of delivery. I was shipping a large scultured mirror, and they took good care in crating it and delivering from Texas to central Pa. Without incident.
My daughter first spoke with Carol Trout and told me what a kind and gracious person she was in answering all our questions. Then I called her and finalized my booking. Everything on our Skokie side went very smoothly and Golans moving co. Men were terrific in their packing everything so well. Couldn't ask for better service. Hoping all goes well at the receiving end.

I needed to move one room of furniture from one state to another. TSI was professional and courteous from the initial estimate, to the pick up, to the delivery. They wrapped everything perfectly and took excellent care of each piece of furniture from pick up to delivery. I would definitely recommend TSI if you are ever in need of a moving company.
Very satisfied with the service. Everything arrived safely. At the receiving end, they assisted with assembly and placement, and moving other furniture out of the way to do the placement.
The phone calls for the pick up and delivery were timely and helpful.
I would have liked a better price, but would probably have had to do a lot more of the packing protection myself then, and maybe even placement on pallets.
It took a bit longer to schedule the pickup then I expected, and a bit longer to be placed on the cross country truck than I expected, but definitely was not looking for a short delivery time that would have cost postal or UPS or FedEx or other package shipping rates. And I definitely was not shipping enough items to fill a moving truck by myself.
I was also not made aware until the pickup that the items to be crated would be done at a local warehouse a number of miles away rather than at the pickup location.
Received call regarding drop off. No date for delivery date was provided. Left voice mail asking me to call back. I did call and left a message. The following Wednesday I received a call notifying me that the transporters where in my driveway. Surprise...luckily someone was home.
This was the second time I had used the service. The first delivery was flawless.
I shipped a used tattoo removal laser to a friend in the industry in Nashville. They arrived on time, packed it up safely and he got it in such good condition from me that his laser repair technician who came to calibrate it - said he basically didn't have to recalibrate anything at all. Which says a lot given most of the same guys who repair tell you to not move machines from room to room because even that will often require them to be recalibrated.
Great service, price, everything! Really positive experience! And here I am using them to ship another laser again.
Terms and condition are the exact opposite of what I purchased. After multiple phone calls the issue is not resolved. Transit Systems then lied to my sister, trying to trick her into releasing my property, saying I had accepted the terms and conditions when I had not.
Almost a year later I receive an email telling me that I owe money from my shipment that happened in September (meanwhile it's almost July) because a representative on their end tried charging me in September and it never went through and he got fired. You would assume that since it got declined in September of 2015 and its June 2016 I would have been contacted ALOT earlier. This is the businesses mistake not mine. You should have dealt with this sooner if there was a mistake in the "extra charges". Not to mention the "senior specialist logistics" was rude and demeaning and didn't apologize for the companies mistake. I will never use this company or refer anyone to this company.
I shipped a queen size bed but you sent me a king size box which I felt I needed to cut up and modify. If you wish to deal with one size fits all why not include instructions and show on the box where to cut and fold? I am sure you could hire a clever Asian who could show you how to do it. I did not modify one of the boxes, I simply filled it with other furnishings (two large picture frames). You basically allowed me to ship about 100 pounds for free and I thank you for that opportunity.
Of the three shippers I spoke to your company was the most knowledgeable, courteous and professional. I was kept informed every step of the way, the trucks showed up when they said they would be there and the table arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. My only issue was that it seemed a lot of money to ship one table from Florida to New York but the service was excellent and I highly recommend TSI.
Everything went perfectly except for some miscommunication the evening of the delivery. I called a little before 6 pm to ask if they were still delivering the furniture that evening. The dispatcher checked on it and told me the truck broke down and we would have to reschedule. I was at work and my daughter was at my house. About that same time the delivery men called to say they were on their way. They arrived and delivered the furniture within a few minutes. I'm not sure what happened here, but I did get the furniture that evening.
First of all Kathy Temple is a gem. She has answered all my questions and in the now (4 small shipments) to my new home in SDiego, no one has missed a beat. She remembers me and is very efficient and accommodating in all ways. Its made me feel very comfortable in the repeat business I've given you.
There is a guy Jose on the SD end who has delivered 3 of my shipments. Shout out to him - great guy. Though the other two guys could not have been any nicer. They get a little intimidated about alley and getting to the condo but they've had no problem and been really cheerful and helpful in every way.
I didn't think I would but I probably one more (the smallest) load to go and I know Kathy and TSI will do things right. Thank you so much.
This is the second time I have used this company for transporting my items from one coast to the other. I was completely satisfied the first time and highly recommend them. The pickup men were courtesy and efficient. Arrival and delivery was handled perfectly on the other end too.
Broke part of an item which i had to point out and ask to be repaired. They repaired it, which was appreciated, but there was poor communication with when I could expect that item back (along with another item that had been misplaced). In the end, luckily I happened to be at my apartment when those final items came, as the delivery was unannounced and could have easily been missed. In the end I got my things after a few bumps in the road. The staff I dealt with was very nice.
Overall experience was great! The item was packed well and received in excellent condition.
TSI was great about the fact that I was going to be away from home for a week and scheduled the delivery around my availability.
So impressed with the service that was provided. We didn't have a ton of furniture but everything was wrapped and handled with care. Everyone we worked with was professional and made us feel like we were in good hands.
Everything from the initial contact to the final delivery was great. Very flexible with pick up days and delivery date and time. Very convenient and much easier and more economic that a 2000 mile road trip.
TSI made this shipment easy and it was inexpensive (less than half the cost) compared to what it would have cost to rent a small uhaul and travel 800 miles. Everyone I had contact with, beginning from getting the quote to it being delivered was pleasant and made it simple. The driver showed up on time to pick it up and it was delivered a day earlier than expected. I would use TSI again for any big shipments.

I forget the name of the woman who was my first contact? Jessica? I am sorry that I don't remember. She was GREAT! Very responsive,answered all of my questions.very efficient about getting pick up/drop off info.
Once she handed me over to the pick up and delivery team the great service continued. My family who were at the pick up site reported great service. As the desk made its way up the East Coast I was called and told about the delivery schedule. When I had a question I called the number, gave my account number and talk with a real person!
I was able to adjust the delivery time to suit my needs.
The delivery team were fantastic. Efficient, nice, placed the desk where I asked them.

The two movers who picked up and packed our items were efficient, fast, and very careful with ensuring everything was well padded, and protected before loading on the truck. I was very impressed with their performance!
I needed to ship a king-size bed (mattress and frame) from one address to another, and I'd never shipped any large furniture item in this way. From the first contact to inquire about pricing and process, to updates along the way, to final delivery, the process was seamless. I even needed to change the final delivery address from one state to another; TSI made the change and the bed arrived at it's destination is perfect condition. I was also WAY impressed with the way the two men who picked up the bed from it's origination address safely wrapped/protected everything, and the way they were also careful and intentional when moving in and through my home. I'll reach out to TSI first, if I have large-item shipping needs in the future.
The rate that I received would be totally wrong, because the weight is actually 111 lbs--not the 50 lbs that was on the quote.
So my reasoning is that if you screw up a simple qoute, what would you do to my vintage instrument?
