We hired TSI to move a family heirloom desk from Florida to Pennsylvania. That was a very smart choice. TSI was Great in every way: phone calls, emails, calling to let us know the exact pick up date and delivery dates a day or so in advance. Most importantly though, they demonstrated much care and respect in packaging and padding the desk to protect it during transport. The delivery guys were nice and very efficient in getting the desk inside, placing it where I directed and carefully unpackaged it. I am so impressed. Thank you so much TSI and Kaylynn!
I am not confident TSI is a real company, I think they may be a fraudulent operation. They took a $2000 deposit from me, promising delivery within the month. 6 weeks later, and after being promised two separate pickup times (and waiting outside for hours each time), they are dodging calls and emails, and still not picking up the shipment. They are either an unprofessional, unreliable, mismanaged shipping company, or a very well managed organization of thieves. In either case, take your business elsewhere.
The rate that I received would be totally wrong, because the weight is actually 111 lbs--not the 50 lbs that was on the quote.
So my reasoning is that if you screw up a simple qoute, what would you do to my vintage instrument?

This was the worst experience ever... Do NOT hire this company. They ruined my brand new "one of a kind" sofa worth 8K. It was not white glove service and it arrived missing 3 of the legs. It was wrapped in a Saran Wrap material but the corners were ripped and the fabric was exposed and dirty. Completely ruined my sofa and my thanksgiving guests did not have a sofa to sit on. The delivery company claimed the sofa arrived to Ca damaged and Transit Systems will not take responsibility. I rejected the delivery and 2 weeks later Transit Systems states they were not notified of the damage. In addition, their rep said they do not know we're my sofa is. I will file a lawsuit!
Service at beginning and end was great; price reasonable. In between, all 10 plastic totes had been taped; however, only 9 were delivered, and every one of them, the tape had been either ripped open or come undone. At least one tote had been repacked into a different container. Two small, inexpensive pieces of jewelry, but with GREAT sentimental value (late husband's wedding ring, and 100-year-old 10 kt locket) were missing. A report was filed of the missing tote, still waiting for result.
We had to have a large piece of furniture moved from Indiana to Vermont, TSI had the best pricing and best customer service that we could find and we looked. Very happy with the care that was taken and the service from the movers themselves. Delivery time was just fine, it only took a few weeks for pick up and 13 days to delivery.
I have only just requested a shipping quote, however, so far the website is very user friendly. The online form is simple, filling it out is quick and easy. What I (REALLY) like it the promise to get a quote within a few minutes...it's very frustrating to have to wait even 24 hours for a quote.
I give this site 2 thumbs and 2 big toes up!
I had to fill out information twice and even the second time after submitting request the website said that this site had moved location and could not finalize my quote request. I was surprised to actually receive a price quote. So, that was a pleasant surprise.
I found your website and was helped by Mike who was lovely, listened to my needs and reassured me that my furniture would be delivered safely and soundly! And...at 1/2 the price I was quoted by another moving service! WIN WIN!

The piece arrived safely, without blemish, so that part of the service was great. The people who did the delivery were polite and efficient. Only problem I had was the lack of information between the pick up and the delivery. Periodic updates of progress would have been helpful.
Of all the shipping services I contacted, TransitSystems was the fastest with their response bid, gave the most options and was always quick to reply to questions. I always spoke directly to a person not a machine and the representative I dealt with was always patient. My order needed to be changed several times yet the representative was beyond helpful and courteous. I will use their services again!
My shipment has been lost, there was zero communication to me until I called to find out why the shipper did not show up at the scheduled time to deliver my goods. Why they scheduled a delivery when they did not have my shipment is beyond me. Very poor customer communication and very poor customer service so far.
The shippers were very cordial and friendly. They took great care to be sure my items were secure and protected. It was a pleasure to deal with them. And the items were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, and were just as friendly and cordial to my daughter and her family. I highly recommend using your services!
Overall, had a very good experience with TSI. Somewhat more expensive than other services I priced, but went with "White Glove Service" and no hidden charges or fees and my antique chest arrived in excellent condition from Florida to New York. I would use them again without hesitation.
Finding a company to ship a small load was more difficult than I thought! I'm so thankful I found TSI because Kathy made it so easy. I was given a quote, and she was able to help me get the load out quickly. I appreciate how friendly, easy and helpful she was! Thank you!
Working with TSI was an incredible experience. I moved furniture from the Midwest to the Northeast. Everything happened as the Rep said it would. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Everyone was friendly. I wish all customer service and general service was this amazing. I would recommend this company to everyone I know.
While I provided the measurements for the piece of furniture to be moved, I received an additional invoice based on estimated weights and was told that the company had not been aware of how big and heavy the furniture was. I was told to expect a call within ten days of the furniture being picked up to schedule delivery. I never received a call and called myself. After 20+ days, I still have not scheduled delivery.
If you are not going to insure flat screen TVs then you shouldn't take that business. My $4,000 Sony Bravia was shipped and arrived with the box ripped and the TV broken beyond repair. I called and was told that I could get a limited liability claim. That amount to $.10 per pound. So I paid $271 plus $40 for packing material to get $7.50 back. What a deal.
We paid for packing of the stuff,they did a bad job and delivery was very very disappointing,very rude people delivered,did not unpack and fix the stuff properly,furniture was damaged,terrible job done when delivered.not worth the price I paid.
Rescheduling my pick up 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the pick up window on the day you were supposed to be here is completely unprofessional. Most of those moving do not have that kind of flexibility.
For White glove service, we expected the delivery team from Plycon to move the furniture upstairs as part of what we had paid for. They did carry the dressers up, reluctantly, after telling us that wasn't their job.
My stuff arrived on time and in good shape.
HOWEVER
I was extremely livid when 20 minutes before the truck arrived I learned that a freight company was picking up my stuff. That was never, ever communicated to me. So I had to move all the boxes myself to the sidewalk which resulted in me pulling my back.
For drop off similar situation in which the freight company was just going to drop off the stuff in my new driveway. Luckily, the company was nice enough to bring it into the garage.
You can not advertise yourself as a moving company and never communicate that you broker freight companies for pick up and deliveries. As a moving company I expected staff to help pick up and deliver the boxes - truly door to door.
TSI is an amazing service. They are professional, courteous and helpful. If any glitches come up, they immediately work things out. Tom and Richard are sensitive to the customers needs, and they are excellent communicators.
I experienced problems with my first shipment in April 2020 but I was told it was the fault of the third party shipping company the job was contracted out to. The same issue occurred with my second shipment in June, only this time it got worse and the shipment was lost. I left multiple messages for Bob and Renee which were not returned. Finally, I connected with Bob over the phone and he said he'd look into it. Later that day he sent me an email saying he was "confident it would be located in short order" and that he'd "be back in touch very soon". I never heard from him again and a subsequent voicemail went unreturned.
The shipping problems cost us serious time delays and absolutely no attempt was made by TSI to make things right with us, and the customer service was unacceptably non-communicative.
TSI did not show up during the time they said they were coming. They ended up coming and taking the mattress without the bill of lading and without calling or letting us know they were coming. TSI did not charge us for the bill of lading so that was nice but it could have went better. Overall customer service was great but contacting driver was frustrating.
I have tried several times to contact TSI about the additional charges for a missed delivery date. You left a message on our voice mail stating that you would be delivering the item the next day and to confirm that it would be okay to deliver the item the next day. I received the message late the night before and it was too late to contact you to tell you that I would be unavailable. I have tried several times to resolve this issue. I do not believe that I should have been charged the $150 for the missed delivery.
