There has been an imposter account on twitter, impersonating me for over two years.

I am the only person in the world with my particular name (very unusual name) and someone has an imposter account up of me, that does not follow twitters guidelines, there is no "fake, commentary, or parody" claim on it.

It has cost me a job, my children have been harassed, I can't get a date, friends and family have seen it, yet even with proof that it is an imposter account, they've refused to remove it.

There's been nothing new posted in over 2 years, but the old derogatory post/following are still up for the public to see. According to twitter policy, after 6 months of inactivity accounts will be closed, but even with that they refuse to close it.

I'm at the point of suicide from this. I can't provide for my family because of it, can't afford an attorney, haven't had a date in two years because of it. For two years I've been fighting to have it removed and nothing.

I really can't take it anymore. This is no way to live.

I opened an account and tweeted (once). Five minutes later, I was locked out. All my tweet said was to vote for my Kindle Scout book. This web site is clearly dysfunctional.

I've loved Twitter since the beginning, and have enjoyed posting tweets from my own website. It's a great outlet to let out something quick, and share with the twitter sphere. Highly recommended!

I've wasted hundreds of dollars advertising to twitter and I've gotten suspended multiple times. I have reported numerous cases of harassment against myself and they are always ignored.

E. freedom of speech And they do not conform to the rules that their platform is supposed to be following They will not let you send anything that says anything negative to anyone about the Democratic Party namely Obama Harris Biden Clinton Pelosi and her mob! And the best part is that it does not I repeat does not work both ways it's only against anybody supporting the republican party or Donald Trump the Best president ever, except for Reagan I won't be surprised if this doesn't get posted either Twitter really needs to stop suppressing freedom of speech and condoning communism and socialism Here's a concept about adhering to the rules of their platform but that's OK because Trump is going to take care of that too LOL

If I could give twitter a zero star review I would. I have had 3 or 4 twitter accounts for decades now with no problems whatsoever. Now all the sudden in the last few weeks they are all permanently locked and suspended with no explanation whatsoever and without any consideration for my appeals. For the most part 99% of my tweets are retweets of other peoples. I rarely comment or post original tweets of my own. And when I say rarely, I mean rarely. I will go months or even over a year without tweeting anything original. In the last couple months, those in charge have become worse than Zuckerberg and his Facebook disinformation team. X is a proper rebranding. It should be X's off the internet.

They haven't improved what so ever since Elon took over.

They are one-sided. Try stating on twitter that Biden is mentally unfit to be president and see how fast they take you down. Meanwhile, biden says on national tv that the "MEGA"
REPUBLICANS ARE TERRORISTS and it's accepted.

No reputable Company would ever consider having a D- Rating with the Better Business Bureau which shows how very little Twitter Inc. gives a damn about anything!

I like twitter. It's short, sweet, and to the point. There is a link for pictures and if you are actually interested in viewing them you click it and I like that better than facebook.

Twitter isn't my 'go to' when I'm on social media but a lot of celebrities are on twitter so I follow them and that's about it. Twitter gets boring I guess.

This is the lamest site I have ever checked out, it's a porthole for idiots to post potty time to where they are now, Nothing Better to do than use this site, Ask Someone For Help In Life, and Get The Heck Out Of Here! Let them Stuff that Bird!

Didn't save password, now I can't log in or out of the account. Can't even contact support because they don't use the support email anymore. Disappointing.

SINCE APRIL OF 2017, SOMEONE HAS BEEN CONTACTING ME VIA DIRECT MSG CLAIMING TO BE MUSIC MOGUL, SEAN DIDDY COMBS. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS HIM UNTIL THEY ASKED ME TO GO TO GEORGIA TO GET A BRIEF CASE AND BE COMPENSATED $20,000.00 FOR IT. THAT SOUNDS LIKE DRUG DEALING TO ME. THEN HE ASKED ME TO OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT, WHY? LAST NIGHT, HE CALLED ME FROM THIS NUMBER *******124 AND SAID HE'S LEAVING CASSIE FOR FOX'S THE FOUR EVVIE MCKINNEY, BECAUSE CASSIE HAS CAUSED HIM TOO MUCH PAIN. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S DIDDY CONTACTING ME OR CORRUPT PEOPLE HE HAS HIRED TO RUN HIS ORGANIZATION. IT'S PRETTY SCARY. SO MANY FAKE CELEB ACCOUNTS AND CRIMINALS TRYING TO SCAM YOU.

What can I say... It's Twitter. If you're familiar with MySpace, Facebook, and Instagram, this site is virtually alike to those 3. Due to the 140-character limit on Tweets, it is hardly possible to put those "REPOST THESE OR A CLOWN WILL KILL YOU" messages, which I personally enjoy not seeing.

You will often hear that they fight hate speech but do they really? For the last three years I've been collecting data on Twitter. I have over 80 gigs of data that violate there community guidelines. So what's going on? Because they literally champion themselves as fighters against Hate Speech but it looks like they just selectively target people they don't agree with based on there emotions and political stance. Take a look around folks. Disable the sensitive content in your settings. You'll find tons of porn and sexual violence. Male degradation, full blown nudity and actual violent porn. You can even find blackmail hashtags. Yeah I said it. Actual people blackmailing as Twitter continues to allow actual crimes to take place on there platform. Their is a whole bunch of con artist schemes taking place and Twitter literally does nothing about it when you report it. I'm not kidding. I could find an escort on Twitter. How come that's allowed even though in there guidelines they state it's not allowed. In addition, I found a lot of fake profiles and bot accounts. This is a great tactic on there part because it makes them look popular as people believe your opinion based on your following. They also use these bots to keep there hashtags trending in there favor. They will also shadow ban you, as nobody will see your tweets. Let's not forget about there consent rules. They claim if you do not consent to the video, they will remove it, but they actually don't. I proved my identity to them and they still denied my consent report. Twitter could be sued for this.

On Twitter there is no free expression and what Elon did was manipulation saying that Twitter would change it more in favor of Trump I honestly do not recommend Twitter because I write something that does not make bad sense since I wrote to Canelo I was not talking so much crap since Canelo spoke about Messi and Argentina because I told him that the former boxer Tito Trinidad should break his face, that's why fighting and winning him, that's why they blocked my account, but I will never open another one again.

Initially Twitter started in India with Great support of Common Man regarding various issues with Voices. Gradually it becomes Slaves of Ruling Party and now "Our way are the Highway Approach! " Blocking and Suspending Members Account who Opposed fake news, Propaganda of Ruling Party and Paid Godi Media Houses. How many more days Twitter? You have a Poorest 2.78 as Customer Review & Still you are desparate to block now and then to your members without any prior Notice? Twitter is One Way Traffic in India with Zero Ethics and Integrity in reality indeed.

When you follow a lot of accounts it tends to be messy because it is updating so quickly but that is also a reason you'll be informed about what is going in the world as soon as it happens.

Twitter is beginning to lose control of the millions and millions of users it has. Complaints abound on every issue, from unwarranted blocking of accounts, to lack of proper checks for fake news.

Twitter has developed the annoying habit of dropping multi-part tweets. They offer the capability, and attempt to maintain reading order of the resulting multi-part tweet, but then can randomly fail to post any/all of the individual component tweets.

And just like facebook, instagram, and other "social media" service providers, they don't really offer any meaningful technical support. In fact, I am not certain Twitter even provides a way to report problems... even if there is, finding it and accssing it would require hours, assuming THAT feature worked at all.

So, you get what they feel like giving you, in this case (much like facebook and instagram) a defect-ridden joke service.

No use trying to use the snazzy feature their staff invested so much time/effort in designing/implementing, it doesn't work. I will have to construct tweets the old-fashioned way: use a separate text editor, post them one at a time, in reverse order (so they are fed in reading order), and verify that each has become available before posting the next.

Twitter is a great website to know what other people's thinking and knowing, especially specialists, it is very concentrated and convenient to learn something.

I became an avid user of Twitter for 4 years and thoroughly enjoyed my experience and met some new and interesting people along the way. My page was a lovely devoted and positive page. It was not politically driven. However over the years my account had been compromised on a few occasions. When this happened Twitter would ask me to type in my email address. I did so and was able to use my account. Recently a youtuber whom i subscribed to was falsely arrested and she attached a video footage. I - of course lent my support. Shortly after i received a notification from Twitter advising my account had been compromised from a user or someone not related to Twitter ( possibly the Tennessee Police or a celebrity. However recently my account was compromised again and a code was sent my email address which Microsoft refuse me to have access too. Twitter had been extremely unhelpful, just responded using re-generated emails. When i recieve a half decent one they referred me back to Microsoft who had been a $#*! at giving me back my hotmail account
