Team does not know how to receive customers. There is no greeting not even "Hi". Team does not respond when questions asked. I tried three different stores and the behavior is the same in all stores. This will be my last visit to this store.
I've called at least 4 times and had 1 hour conversations each time and can't get anywhere! English is absolutely their customer service reps 2nd or 3rd language. It makes it so difficult to communicate! I was told there is a 30 day waiting period before they refund money—how ridiculous is that? Last they told me is there would be an electronic gift card for the $70+ sent via email within 20minutes. That was several days ago.
I bought my products from Alta and it's really good. I will stay and continuing Alta products. I definitely suggest it to my friends
I called comenity bank (the bank ulta issues credit cards through) to get a balance so that I could do a balance transfer. I then initiated a balance transfer from my Ulta credit card to my Discover card. A month later I received a statement showing a late balance due from Ulta. They had given me an incorrect balance amount to be transferred causing points to be lost on my credit score! The whole point of the balance transfer was to increase points on my credit score. I then called Ulta, paid the $45. Balance and closed the card out. Or so I thought. A month later I receive another statement in the mail from Ulta with a $2.78 credit balance. Meaning my credit card has not been closed out. That is some mighty creative accounting! I again call Ulta customer Service! And Of course I'm upset. The customer service representative sounds like a young woman probably 18 or 19 possibly younger if they hire them that young. She is offended at my choice of words damn and I'm pissed off etc. I said I would like the account closed and they can issue a check for the credit balance if that's what they need to do. And the young lady hangs up on me! I call back and get a different customer service representative who understands I am upset and as far as I know has issued a credit for the two dollars and says she has close my account out. I just hope that their accounting department does not get creative this time. That is one hell of a way to keep from losing customers. Worst experience I've ever had with a credit card in my life.
I ordered from ulta online and I unfortunately didn't receive whole my items. I was missing alot and I was very mad, I contacted them and they didn't reship or refund.
I will never ever purchase from ulta anymore very disappointed.
ULTA STOLE $200+ FROM ME AND I CAN'T GET ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Take this as a warning to NOT order online from Ulta. My $250 order of 12 items showed up with only TWO items inside despite the packing slip showing all 12. I escalated this on Saturday, followed up on it twice, and still can't get anyone to give me a solution other than "wait for someone to reach out" with no ETA. Case confirmation #*******. If Ulta had resolved this issue by now I would have kept it to myself, but after five days it's clear the company isn't concerned about literal fraud at the expense of its customers, so I'll be posting this review anywhere and everywhere I can until this is fixed. Be warned.
I walked into Ulta Beauty at Wellington, Florida for the first time and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I came across Israt and she recommended a special facial that will help my face. I booked a facial with her and she remembered me right away. WOW! Israt did the best facial I have ever had. I could not believe the difference right after. I was so happy, I booked another one with her. She is a HUGE asset to Ulta Beauty. Thank you Israt and I will see you soon.
Ulta beauty is full with brands of make up products from unknown influencers i mean kids who just rise out of nowhere create bad perfumes and foundations. I bought once perfume and someone asked me why it stinks like on cow $#*!,. I didn't knew what to say
I have Ordered for Kylie's lip kits about couple of weeks ago and I have got them timely. Really it has a great experiences. Their packaging system is excellent and lucrative.
I received an email asking me to come in for a free beauty product for my birthday. I went into the Ulta store and was told they were freshly out of the birthday products, but that they were re-sticking on Tuesday and I should come back then. Today is Tuesday, so I stopped in on my way home from work. The first thing out of the cashier's mouth was, "We're out of the birthday items. Our shipment comes in on Wednesday and we'll be restocking then." I responded that since they lied to me, I would never be back. I think it's just a scam to get people to come into the store, thinking that they will shop. I'm done with Ulta.

Very helpful. Staff always goes above and beyond to help us, things are quite expensive in this store but high end makeup and scents always tend to. I love how the staff always jumps rite in and lends a hand when we can't decide or have a hard time.
First let me start off by saying I'm an employee in the location in Clifton and the customer service I received in Kearny was shocking. The manager was so rude and started whispering to the other coworker. She literally kicked us out of the store and turned off the lights. She also refused to check if they have back stock of a product. Told me to quit my job and work at their location which is ridiculous. I'm astounded companies like these stay open and how rude their employees are. I came to the Riverdale, Utah location. I parked in the Curbside Pickup parking stall, I thought no big deal, I'm just running in to grab something really quick. When I walked in the employee told me that the spot is only for those coming in for curbside pick up. I went and moved my car ONE STALL OVER to satisfy the employee. Really? This started all because of COVID, which has been a complete fraud. But I guess Ulta is still being a sheep! I can't believe you STILL designate a spot for a curbside customer. The effort it takes to come to a location, park, walk in and SHOP; mostly likely spending more money is what is keeping these brick and mortar businesses open. I was very disappointed. Will look to take my business elsewhere.

About 3 years ago I purchased a flat Iron on line and it did not work. I took it into my local ulta to do a return and the rude beauty consultant couldn't figure out how to do a return so I suggest she ask someone I waited for over 15 minutes at the front to have a manager come out just so she could give me a hard time saying they do not except online returns which is a totally lie Yes they do so she refused to take my return so I contacted Ulta's customer service and explained my situation and how rude they were that they would not take back the return and they told me to mail it back or drive to another ulta to return. I thought seriously!? So I contacted my bank and told them my situation and they credited my account Next thing I knew when I went to order off of ulta again the company blocked me and sent me a letter saying I was no longer allowed to order or do a pick up order from their website because I contacted my bank for a refund. Apparently Ulta at that point lost a Loyal customer I will take all my business to their competier going forward.
Answer: It's not that the prices are particularly higher than anywhere else, it's that the products they sell are very high end and nowhere except like Marshall's etc has any of those brands for less. So I'd say yes they're all worth the money. Some brands are better than others depending on personal preference but they also have a rewards program that's free :)
