As soon as i arived at the Airport. I saw customer is coming towered me asking can i help you. Said yes please. I am here to help. She helped me all the way. The Pilot was very nice talking when he needed to talk. I didn't see any problem with customer serving in the Plain. They helped me in the Shutter with all my Bags. All customers were really nice and quite. I will chose UNITER AIRLINE from now on.

The plane can be at the gate for hours and only when we've all boarded, door is closed, then they realize there's some tech issues. It's really frustrating that their consistent issues are at the expense of the passenger. Last, the majority of service received is typically rude, standoffish, and uncaring. Any business employee treating customers like many of United employees do would be terminated. Being captive under poor conditions is not appropriate. Asian and European airlines do it right, not United.
After arriving at the airport my and my husband's flight from Zurich to Newark, NJ was delayed for 2 hours and 50 minutes (the airlines out of Europe must reimburse you if they are delayed for 3 or more hours, hence 2 hours 50 minutes). We were supposed to leave at 10:10 and were delayed until 1:00. We got a text that the plane was boarding so we went and stood on line for almost 1 1/2 hours until they finally told us that our flight was cancelled. Long story short, we were not able to book another flight for 2 days and we were told that United would reimburse us for meals, lodging and taxis to and from the airport. They told us to keep our receipts and submit them for reimbursement. After spending over 9 hours in the airport we finally left (without our luggage because it couldn't be retrieved until hours later and we had to go back and get it/search for it ourselves). We kept all of our receipts and submitted them to United only to be told "United's auditors have reviewed them and will approve $580 USD for your expenses. For additional expenses to be considered, please provide receipts that show the items purchased, not just a total of the items purchased." NO ONE told us at the Zurich airport when my flight was cancelled to keep Itemized receipts! Instead of being reimbursed $1319.88 USD, we are getting less than half for our inconvenience. Absolutely insulting! Shame on you United!
My trip was cancelled for the second time in 5 days due to weather… a winter weather cancellation for Wisconsin. With nothing but a refund, I've had to take of work for 10 days to attempt to go on vacation, with a low of 2°. Just curious how people in Alaska fly? United airlines is one of the worst airliners to operate in the USA. They are cheaper for a reason and that reason is that they have the worst service of all the major operators. Spent 1 hour inside a plane at IAF waiting for the pilots to show up. Nevermind that this was already after missing my connecting flight because of a lightning storm (understandable btw for safety reasons). But they love to rub salt on wounds when they are already in the wrong with the customer. They are a mess and no wonder they went bankrupt before and at this pace, I feel they are heading in the same path. I will avoid United from now on and recommend others not to use this company for their travel as they will find a way to make it a bad experience.
They o not honor cancellations, refunds and unable to get a hold of anyone to help. Don't spend your money with these losers one reason why their customer satisfaction is so low. Two months before the flight was schedule and they lie about refund want to issue credit instead bunch of crooks

Booked flights 8 months ago. Constant flight changes. No help at all. Had to spend a whole day of vacation.just trying to contact them. Basically I hope they go out of business, they should fire everyone involved in customer service, but then again it appears they don't have anyone in their customer service dept so should be easy.

Currently I'm at Dulles airport in Washington DC. We missed the flight and the customer service reps handled the situation poorly. After 3 hrs wait, I was given lies and a $100 flight voucher. Not worth being at the airport from 10 pm to 8 am the next day. Not recommended airline

My flight from Denver to Atlanta left 30 minutes late. The air conditioner control was broken and the plane was freezing. Staff said sorry, but nothing they can do. No charging ports in United Airlines waiting area in Denver nor on the plane itself. Waited over 45 minutes in Atlanta for bags to arrive in baggage claim.
Flights keep changing booked a few months in advance had to pay more to keep same date. Plus paid for upgrade seat and didn't get the seat I paid for. They suck never flying with united airlines again.
Has Bait & Switch become corporate policy. I just purchased two tickets at a rate 25% over last year and on seat selection found none were available at standard price and upgrades were required for more money. Bad enough being gouged but adding insult to injury. Too much
Unlike American Airlines, it appears that United intentionally makes it virtually impossible to use your flight credits from 2020. Their app is often glitchy and is inconsistent in how you can book flights with your credits. If you call their customer service line, you wait more than 60 min and then are given the obvious run around. Their goal: make it so confusing, difficult and frustrating so you just give up. From a goodwill standpoint, they have none; even for their top-status members. Tip: book your flight with another airline.
We have flight schedule from Chicago to San Francisco and San Francisco to Seattle. Chi to SF was delayed for 3,5 hours, because electronic in airline was not working good, so they 2 times restart the aircraft. Jesus!. So we arrived same time as departure San Francisco to Seattle. Whey wouldn't wait on us 10 minutes. But tha worst here that waiting customer service line time was 2 hours. All people tired, angry was standing and waiting until slowly worker will understand what happens. Now we have new flight in 8 hours later. And that flight will be delay for 2 more hours. So I spent all my day in airplane airport because of United workers and delayed
After the gate agents failed to make me pay for a personal cross body bag which I wore across my chest, they then had no choice but to issue me a boarding passes for both my 5 years old daughter and I. As we both boarded and seated in our designated seats, the gate agent approached us and info me that I was drunk and cannot fly. The agent then, escorted us off the flight which shocked everyone on board. I was not drunk and did not cause any disruptions to the flight! The actions of the agents at the ticketing counter to the gate agents were United against Asian minority thinking that we are least likely to file complains! I am adding a picture of the cross body bag as evidence! Avoid United Airline at all cost if possible!
I wish I could give 0 stars. Every United flight i've had in the last 12 months has been either delayed or cancelled. No other airline has given me this much trouble or this many issues. They are always having issues other airlines don't seem to have. I've had better experiences with Spirit, Frontier, and Allegiant Airlines, which are considered "budget" airlines. United is neither budget nor quality. Not to mention they owe unpaid wages to my spouse—that's another topic. Why do I continue to book with United? I travel for work and sometimes the most direct flight is with United. However, they've been given too many chances. I boycott this airline that continues to ruin my trips with their "issues." Do better.

This is the worst airline I ever had! The flight got canceled due to airplane issues. They asked us to pay for the hotel and fees ourselves first and they will reimburse us by uploading the receipts from their website. I uploaded all the documents in June and they mentioned they issued the payment to me, but until now I received nothing. It had been 6 months now. I emailed them many many times, but the rep, Luz from Customer Care Management, never replied or provided any information about the payment. Very dishonest and just keep telling lies to the customers. Please stay away from this airline!
Everyone experiences difficulties at some time or another and you are very lucky if you never have a problem to deal with. But when you do experience an unforeseen problem with company service you hope to have some help. I will not blame the airline for the fuel leak it happens but I how they cope with a twenty four hour delay I know is not easy for them or me as a customer. However my experience of their service under these conditions was a nightmare. Dealing with their customer service late at night was shameful understaffed and without experience I as a retired police officer was ashamed of how customers were treated and left venerable. Beware! The worst thing was failure to except full responsibility and help people.
I have for 2 days tried Customer service as their employee gave me wrong information so I had to spend 291 dollars for new flights. I have been on hold for 2 hours and 47 minutes and then I realized that Im loosing money. I have travelled for 25 years all over the world bye far worst airline. Friendly advice stay away from them.
They are worst airline and worst customer service. They rip off people. Their call centre overseas, English and understanding is very difficult. No one has any clue, how flights are operated and their goal is make customers vulnerable and helpless. They dig out money from your pocket and In return they don't take responsibility to help the customer

Paid $142 to ensure my GF who is claustrophobic has an aisle seat for a 9 hour flight. She got a window seat! When bought up to multiple flight attendants, their response was basically sit down and shut up. They then asked us to get off the plane. So, instead of fixing a problem, they made the t worse. 400 plus passengers had to then wait for them to get our bags off the plane. Had they just gave her an aisle seat, we would have been on our way!
The worst airline ever is the united airline customer service. Even If this airline was free, never take it. I've never seen such bad customer service like that before. They're lazy, disrespectful, careless, and so so very rude! They nearly made my daughter miss her flight even though we arrived over 2 hours early. They made not only us, but many people around us wait in line multiple times and open their bags to throw things out. Not only that, but after telling us our bag was good to go, as we were on our way to the plane, they told us our handbag will not fit and we were forced to leave the whole bag behind. If I could've canceled the whole trip to wait for another airline I would have. Worst experience. Never again.
They canceled my flight on June 18,2023, due to their mechanical problem, and they asked us to pay for the hotel and meals ourselves first without any arrangements for that night. They said passengers can submit it to their website and be reimbursed it later. They are a liar and never respond to your request. When you contact them, they will ask you to submit to many different departments and say your money cannot be refunded. Hate this airline so much, just feel like they are a thief and have stolen money and are lying to me! It is the worst experience I had with an airline!

Doing business with this site always has a good outcome for me. Though I'm not really satisfied, still the customer service always has an idea how to deal with flight delays.
Worst airline ever, after spending $400 per person they count you as a basic economy.
No carry-on on the flight, they charge you $35 per checking bag and basics economy people only get the middle seats.:/
