“The best Customer service.”

As soon as i arived at the Airport. I saw customer is coming towered me asking can i help you. Said yes please. I am here to help. She helped me all the way. The Pilot was very nice talking when he needed to talk. I didn't see any problem with customer serving in the Plain. They helped me in the Shutter with all my Bags. All customers were really nice and quite. I will chose UNITER AIRLINE from now on.

“Consistent Delays”

About 90% of the time I fly United there are always last minute "technical delays." The plane can be at the gate for hours and only when we've all boarded, door is closed, then they realize there's some tech issues. It's really frustrating that their consistent issues are at the expense of the passenger. Last, the majority of service received is typically rude, standoffish, and uncaring. Any business employee treating customers like many of United employees do would be terminated. Being captive under poor conditions is not appropriate. Asian and European airlines do it right, not United.

Deceitful in their promise. They have no class and are indifferent to the customer needs. Avoid traveling with them at all cost.

My family and I love to travel and we book several trips each year. Unfortunately, due to the 2020 Covid19 pandemic, many of our trips were cancelled that were completely out of our control. I've booked several airlines for our trips (Delta, American Airlines, United Airlines and JetBlue). All of the airlines initially wanted to issue only a flight credit. I had to speak to a few representatives and write a letter to receive a REFUND from Delta and JetBlue. American Airlines had a "refund request" form on their website which I filled out. It was very simple and convenient and they approved of my refund request after a few days (no need to speak to an agent).

United, on the other hand, refused to budge on giving us our flight refund. United Airlines boast on their ability and capability of being the top airline, but I beg to differ. Given my experience during this pandemic with 4 airlines, I can say confidently that United Airlines ranks at the bottom of my airline experience. I will NOT be purchasing flights from United from here on out. Additionally, I will inform my friends and family of their horrible service. They are taking advantage of hard working families who has been heavily impacted financially due to the pandemic by withholding their money and denying a refund.

There are so many angry clients that there is a Facebook page called "Complaints against United Airlines". You can read the complaints and issues there from other clients as well.

DO NOT BE FOOLED by this airline boasting they are the top in airline service.
I am very disappointed by United's lack of ethics, morals and understanding of the impacts the current pandemic has on travel.

Save yourself the money, energy and peace by avoiding United Airlines!

We travelled and have used many different airlines, but we think UA is quite decent to travel and most flight attendants are quite accomodating.

I bought a first class ticket and they didn't have a meal for me crappy cheap airline I will NOT fly them again

A flight attendant name "Nathalie Gravenstij" kicked us off the plane yesterday because we asked where out seat is! Yesterday (11/13) we were supposed to fly back home from MCO to IAD, the flight was supposed to depart at 4:25 PM (flight UA 2065) but due to an unfair and humiliating harassment caused by a flight attendant name Nathalie Gravenstij, we got kicked out off the plane. Here is what happened: They announced that the plane is experiencing some cargo issues so the luggage will be on a different flight, we said sure. Time comes for boarding the passengers, my husband, two young children and myself went on the plane and found out they have changed the seat numbers for several people. My husband politely asked the flight attendant where he should sit. We immediately heard the flight attendant screaming at him saying you do not talk to me like that, I will throw you off the plane. We were shocked and several other passengers asked that flight attendant why she would behave like that and she grabbed the boarding pass out of that other lady who was confronting her! Then the flight attendant asked my husband (rudely) to just sit down on that empty seat. He did and asked where my little daughter should sit.The flight attendant raised her voice and started screaming at my husband in front of our kids. She said "That's it! I am kicking you all off of this plane" then immediately went and grabbed the phone and called the Capitan, security person or the ticketing manager (couldn't tell whom she is calling), they came and asked what happened. Another passenger (whom her boarding pass was pulled from her hand by the same flight attendant) testified and said how rude that person was. The security guy asked the Capitan and then came back and told us the Capitan wants no trouble so you guys should all leave the plane!
When we got off, the manager came and apologies, found out the name for that flight attendant:
"Nathalie Gravenstij" and sent us home on the next flight which departed 3 hours later. My kids were traumatized and started crying. The management insisted that we file an official complaint.

I travel with them a lot because they are cheap but the other question is do I enjoy it? Nope.

In general, UNITED has delivered consistent above average service until a recent experience (early April 2018) using the airlines for a company business trip:

1) TSA precheck. I had no issues, but my co-worker with identical TSA precheck demographics -- we both gave KTN to our company travel service - could not get precheck. We had both paid for it months ago. He was told at terminal by UNITED staff that they could see his KTN, but he was "not selected" to receive precheck -- even though it was a prepaid service! So, be warned of inconsistencies! I'm always paranoid of electronic glitches so I actually went on the web site days in advance to verify my precheck status and found initially it was NOT linked to my ticket until I attached my frequent traveler # -- which was provided to travel agent in advance.

2) DELAY in connection - failure to communicate. I arrived at gate thinking I had 20 mins before boarding... NO overhead announcement... NO change in boarding or take-off time posted at gate... NO web site announcement on my UNITED app... NO email push notification. End result: boarding 30 mins late, Take off 1 hr late. Arriving plane for my flight was late -- overhead staff talking. TOO BAD staff knew & passengers did not. The hour delay resulted in loss of chance to register & participate in work activities later that evening (only 10 min ride to hotel, so I would have had 45-50 mins if on time).

Lessons: be very compulsive about TSA precheck if you fly this airlines, or they might randomly choose not to give you the service you had PAID for in advance. Be pro-active about inquiring about delays because you might get NO notification whatsover - email, text, overhead, or gate!
