As soon as i arived at the Airport. I saw customer is coming towered me asking can i help you. Said yes please. I am here to help. She helped me all the way. The Pilot was very nice talking when he needed to talk. I didn't see any problem with customer serving in the Plain. They helped me in the Shutter with all my Bags. All customers were really nice and quite. I will chose UNITER AIRLINE from now on.
About 90% of the time I fly United there are always last minute "technical delays." The plane can be at the gate for hours and only when we've all boarded, door is closed, then they realize there's some tech issues. It's really frustrating that their consistent issues are at the expense of the passenger. Last, the majority of service received is typically rude, standoffish, and uncaring. Any business employee treating customers like many of United employees do would be terminated. Being captive under poor conditions is not appropriate. Asian and European airlines do it right, not United.
Worst airline ever, after spending $400 per person they count you as a basic economy.
No carry-on on the flight, they charge you $35 per checking bag and basics economy people only get the middle seats.:/
I would never fly with united ever again.
American airlines are the best.
Rude and racist customer services, hate united airlines.
I booked my flight in advance and selected an isle seat for a reason. When I went in to check in the day before it auto changed my seat to a window seat. It would not allow you to go back in to change the seat once the check in was complete. What is the purpose of picking a seat but not being able to keep it. Might as well have a first come first serve seating. Very disappointed in this airline.

I booked a flight and their online system messed up the dates. I called to have it fixed and they tried to charge me over double the cost of the original tickets. They were completely unapologetic and unconcerned with how I felt as a customer so I booked a flight for less than what their original ticket was and almost 1/3 of what they wanted to charge to correct their flight. Their are cheaper and better options. Avoid United.
Tip for consumers:
Id advise you use a different airline. I booked an alaska flight for 60 dollars cheaper than the original booking and 181 dollars was over 200 dollars cheaper than what they quoted me to "fix" my booking.
The company is UNfriendly Uncaring and UNSAFE! After going through an emergency landing due to landing gear issues the customer service department was ill-informed and some of them down right rude. Their phone support was hopeless. I had to explain three times to three different service personal what had just happened. In todays ease of communication I would have thought the United staff would have known a disaster had just been aborted.
My mouth fell open when the United website informed me that I could not check-in online. Why? Because I wasn't paying them extra money for baggage. ONLY at-airport check-in was offered. Everyone has been able to check-in online for, what, 20 years? "Absurd" and "ridiculous" come to mind, but really neither word is strong enough.
Purchased a seat upgrade while doing my flight order. They refunded me $300 and said no seats were available. Then, when I contacted customer service, they told me no seats were available. I said, what are you talking about? There are at least 7 seats and there were more when I booked. Oh. Yeah. "Those seats may not be available because people did not pick their seats yet" I said, the system lets me pick and pay for the seat upgrade for those 7 seats at a price of $862! So, either the seats are available for A LOT more money, or you are lying. Agent tells me that I can book at the $862 upgrade price. So, what the hell, United. This is clearly a bait-and-switch tactic. This is the second time you've tried this with me. So, it's definitely not a new thing. If you offer the upsell, you'd better make good on it. No wonder why people are pissed when they get on the flights.
I travel alot for my business and thought i would give united a "go". What a joke this company is. I can remember when it was such a wonderful experience to fly and you were treated like royalty, and now we are simply treated like a herd of cattle on and off the plane you go, and dont dare ask any questions or for some simple service! And where do these glorified waitresses in the sky get off acting like there s%&$ dont stink. Im done with you United, will never fly the unfriendly skies again!
United is the worst of the worst. I would rather fly by carrier pigeon than fly with them ever again. I have given them many chances, believe me. From lost luggage, delays, missed connections to finding myself crying in the airport out of total frustration. Pay whatever it is you have to in order to use another airline.
My flight from MSN boarded at 6am so I arrived 1.5hrs early. Every airline with similar or later first departures was there to check bags except United. When asked they said UA would show up when they showed up, probably around 6. With their policy of 1 personal item (ie purse or backpack) I had to check a bag even though the flight in with Delta had no issue with my small carry on bag. To then have to run through security to make my flight I arrived for well before the check-in staff should be embarrassing for United.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t check a bag. Dont take an early flight.
Stuck on the tarmac on our flight to Hawaii for 2 hours, in their old, over booked 737, (Right, a 737 to Hawaii), until they had to go back to the gate to offload passengers. Plane overweight.
On the way back, our 3 o'clock flight was delayed, until 9 PM; right, 6 hours late! I missed work the next day, getting back into Los Angeles at 4 am.
I fly allot, first time on United, and my Last!
Bland experience with bland planes, spartan seating and no plug ins. Had to check bag for $30 each way since I was basic economy. Wouldn't let me carry it on, even though it was small enough. American and Delta don't do this. Felt like we were treated like cattle and that I was poor. Wait, maybe I am?
Did not care for United.
Traveled out of Newark Airport to the Dominican Republic. Got there and was told my luggage wasn't on the flight. No one knew where it was. Was then told it never got put on the plane. Went back and forth with United which took 3 days to finally get. Had to pay out of pocket for clothing toothbrush shoes etc. Living Social booked the trip which sent us to the wrong destination then had to take a 6 hour cab ride and United would not waive the $200 fee to switch our flight back to the right airport. Living Social sent us to Punta Cana our hotel was in Puerto Plata. Never ever fly United Airlines!
Tip for consumers:
NEVER EVER FLY THIS AIRLINE !
I am only 5'3" and the coach seat leg room is so tight that I could not move! The passenger next to me was 6' tall and had to put his leg at an angle towards me, making it even worse. The customer service staff treats coach passenger as lower than low humans. I was on a flight from Las Vegas to Newark but ended up at the airport 4 hours too early. Even though the earlier flight was paractically empty and my later flight was full, they would not allow me to change without a hefty fee. When I made the request, the staff treated me as if I was bothering them with such a low level request. I will NEVER fly on United again.
Please stay away from this airline. They are the pits. Rude and uncaring service, awful delays, filthy planes... and those are their good points!
We promised to stay away for ever. Not worth the aggravation.
We booked a direct, round trip flight from West Palm Beach to Chicago in March 2022. It was only by reviewing our flight for Friday the 21st that we found our entire itinerary had changed (no notice at all from United). We now leave an hour earlier from both cities; have to change flights in Newark NJ and arrive four hours after our original times in each city. As stated, we were never notified of the change and when called, United customer service said that it was an "automated change" and could do nothing to assist us regarding the flights. In fairness, the supervisor offered to "request" a $100 travel credit for each of us which I refused because we will NEVER fly United again!
Here's the big difference flying basic economy at United vs Delta w/o a bag/carry on. With Delta, you can check in at home, even w/o a bag/carry on. The advantage is you can arrive a little later or get there when boarding.
For no good reason, United makes you check in at the air port if flying w/o bags. Of course they use the guise that they want to be sure that you are not flying w/o a carry on. This means that you have to have completed your check-in process before boarding starts and if not then you will not be getting on the flight. They are both competitively priced but one trusts you more, gives you more flexibility and time and can manage the basic economy flyer more appropriately and that would be Delta.
United was going where I wanted to go and when I wanted to go. So I thought I'd give em another try. Shame on me. Pay for checked bag, pay for carry on, pay for my seat, delayed 2 hours, 15 mins at a time. I hope I don't have to pay extra for that.
United Airlines cancelled my flight to El Paso Texas. I was going to a family wedding, my wife and son were already there. They said because their employees were overworked.
The return flight, I just needed myself removed and my ticket refunded.
They would not refund my ticket after cancelling my flight. I would not even be there to take the return flight because they cancelled my flight to get there.
The agents working the desks at the airport went to hide for 30+ minutes before they sent out the final cancelation email notice like a bunch of bi+ches.
No one reached out in any way to offer another flight or how to get there.
What a piece of shi+ airline.
They're working their employees like dogs. It's because they lost a ton of great employees because they tried to force vaccinate them and making them wear masks.
What a piece of shi+ airline.

This company has no integrity whatsoever. Cheating. Had to overpay for tickets 3 times as original pricing "did not go through" Customer service was not helpful. These scumbacks even charged me extra $50 for the new reservation as "booking agent fee"
ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS airline! Avoid at all costs. First flight cancelled... no compensation... put onto connecting flight instead of direct flight as originally booked. Not enough time was allocated for layover resulting in missed connection and spending more money on overnight hotels. Rebooked for following day and sat on tarmac for 3 hours... final flight home and im currently sat in airport after boarding and unboarding after some system failures. We're now 3 hours delayed for getting home. Customer service is shocking and how a company can stuff up on so many occasions in one trip baffles me. Will never book with them ever again!

They changed the flights we had booked. The first flight was from 5 am to 7 am from New York but did not have enough staff to accommodate the number of reservations. The lady told us we wouldn't make our flight but still checked our luggage. Thus rather than making another flight booking with United, I made a flight reservation of Delta airline ( the very next flight to my destination) through a travel agent, TripiTravels. They offered last-minute flight tickets at cheaper prices and also offered deals for extra savings. If you guys also face the same situation or want to book cheap last-minute flights I would suggest you call *******869.
On their website, it says "basic economic" ticket is allowed one personal item, but didn't specify the size of it. I called their customer service, the lady told me NO personal item is allowed at all. I said I just checked website, she said either I trust her or trust website information, it's up to me. So I called another number, a man answered the phone. At first, he said no personal item allowed. After I told him on the website it says ONE personal item is allowed, I just wanted to know what is considered as personal item and the size of it. Then he said, the personal item is a purse. I said purse has small and large, what size is allowed? Then he said a no larger than Laptop computer size. Before I said ask another question, he HANG UP on me!
I will never fly with United Airline AGAIN! Never! Wondering this kind of customer service, how long this company can survive?
Traveling from Knoxville to Hartford, first flight was delayed over an hour due to mechanical issue. Missed my connection flight and they couldn't get me another flight for 5 hrs. Their policy is $15 food voucher? Are you kidding a breakfast sandwich here is 12$ literally can't buy anything in the airport to eat for $15. Ridiculous. Will NEVER FLY UNITED AGAIN!

They don't hire enough customer service and staff. It has taken me over 3 days so far in the process of trying to retrieve my luggage. They canceled a flight so I could not get to my connecting flight. However they sent my luggage to the country where I was to get the connection to my final destination. Customer service gave me wrong information twice regarding my luggage. It takes hours to get in touch with customer service. In one attempt it was literally seven hours. When you finally do they give you the wrong information…. This happened multiple times. They sent me on a full on scavenger hunt in order to get my luggage. And I still haven't gotten it. United must be held accountable for there negligence. I have spent hours of time energy on trying to locate my luggage. When I went back to the airport as I was incorrectly instructed the air port was operating like a third world countries. Very few staff member and not well trained.
During the round trip from US to Spain flighsts most of the staff members didn't care. My headphone was not working. One of the staff member told me he will fix it. In 8 hours of flight he didn't do it I asked one lady air hostage to replace it. She told me they don't have any spare headphones." sorry for inconvenience" that was her answer.I never got new headphone or broken was not fixed.
For entire round trip in business class we were served the vegetarian food, I won't give it to my dog or a cat.
I requested for non veg instead, they say. " sorry we don't have " That was the answer I got. I will never travel if I don't have to in United again.
