I needed help with ensuring my order was tax-exempt. I e-mailed the customer service address and Steven Lawrence got back to me very quickly. He worked with me to get the right information and to get the order processed quicky. He was helpful and kind every step of the way!
The deliveries came in random shipments on random days. Never got a update on shipment changes and kept having to call about missing pieces as I found find out by building without being able to. Had to work a high stressful job on the floor for days before all pieces came in. Still waiting for another. A $3000 desk shld not be this unorganized. The directions were also terrible to put together. Whoever made them is in the wrong career. Hopefully the stress this desk caused me will be better one day when all the pieces get here…..

I purchased the 4 leg V2 Uplift desk and a side table, along with some accessories. The website was very intuitive and easy to use, great communication throughout the order process.
Unfortunately FedEx failed to deliver the tabletops and claimed they were delivered. I contacted Uplift and Addison D reached out to me after contacting FedEx. We went back and forth for a few days waiting for FedEx to get their act together. When it was clear FedEx was not going to deliver, Addison sent out two new tabletops to me and they both arrived in 2 days. Addison checked to make sure I was well aware of the order status and checked in the following week after the delivery.
I failed to look at the product details on the monitor mounts I had ordered, my monitors were too heavy. Luckily the return process went really well and Tim F contacted me quickly with an RMA slip. Tim F also offered a discount on a set of monitor arms that could handle the weight of my monitors after giving me a few suggestions on what to order. Tim F answered all my questions on the return process and humanized the whole process.
Overall I have been incredibly impressed with the customer service that Uplift provides, on top of the high end desks they sell.

This is my first time ever writing a review, and let me tell you it was well worth. Im sure alot of you are out there who send emails to other companies out there and dont ever hear back from them, or that they just dont cooperate with you. So, honestly when I first sent out my email out to uplift desk, I didnt expect to get help out because I have experience with other companies not getting back to me. However, Uplift company and their team is different. Especially BEN HANLEY. He was the one who came to my rescue! You dont have to wait for a "typical" response that comes in 3-5 days later from when you sent your email. He had very reasonable FAST response via email, if anything I was the one who replying a bit late due to me being busy with homework, however he was very helpful and did an amazing job of helping me regarding an issue I had with my chair. This UPLIFT company is definitely way better from other company's and because of that I have gained trust in this company and am looking forward to buying more products from them, obviously when I save enough money again because I am a student. All in all the chair that I had purchased from them was well worth it, especially when I had an issue with it, Ben hanley and his team took care of me and accommodated to what best fits the situation

I spent days looking at various standing/adjustable desks and settled on Uplift. I'm glad I did! I chose the dark walnut rubberwood w/ 4 leg option. My desk, parts, and add-ons arrived within 2 days. I was initially disappointed to see the desk tabletop had a hairline crack running from the middle of the desk to the side and around to the middle of the underside. I immediately contacted Uplift and received assistance from Krysten New. She was prompt, professional, and exceptionally easy to work with. I sent 4 pictures showing the damage and within the same hour she set up a new order for the tabletop. No runaround, no hassle, no lengthy form to fill out. One of the best shopping experiences I've had when plans go sideways. I also unexpectantly received a connector for the base legs, one for each side. My concerns of front to back wobble immediately went away. I am 6'3, my desk is on carpet, and there is little to no wobble when working while standing. Thank you Uplift Desk for making my shopping experience incredible.

After researching standing desks for my home office, I went with Uplift for my order in January 2022. The ordering process on the website was very easy - the breadth of options and customizations on Uplift desks were way more extensive than any other company out there! I ordered the Narrow v2 Desk with a solid wood top. My items shipped quickly and arrived well packaged and on time. Where Uplift really shined was when I contacted them due to some small physical blemishes on my desktop. Steven B. Was the CSR that handled my emails and he was great to work with. Steven was super responsive and empathetic to my inquiries. I acknowledged that the blemish was small but he never dismissed my concerns. He worked with me to identify some options (eg. Ways I could try to buff it myself, or send it back, or figure out a credit) and I was very satisfied with the way we were able to resolve the issue. Working with Steven really made my experience with Uplift great: I already was very happy with the desk, and am now also very happy with Uplift as a company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Uplift to anyone looking for a new standing desk!

Fake reviews. All reviews are positive and mention how stable the desk is. The desk I got is wobbly and unstable and it is not denied by the company when I talk to them. The reviews are all positive and my negative review is deleted a moment after posting.

Their desk is great, but their customer service is awful.
I ordered a standing desk, but I had to make adjustments to the order (the same day I ordered). They told me I could return the desk while ordering a new one, so it would get there faster. I initiated the return with a rep, and it took many business days to even get to the process of getting my FedEx return labels with the correct information.
Once I started the return, I realized they gave me too few FedEx labels because I had to send back 3 boxes. I asked for another return label, but they canceled the 2 that I had already used to send the previous packages. They said the packages should be able to return without issue.
One package was lost by FedEx and UPLIFT has not been contacting me back about the missing package. It has been about 2 weeks of me asking for an update, so I contacted FedEx through their claims. However, the ORIGINAL shipper must do it. They gave me a partial refund with no further explanation of what was happening with the remainder.
The UPLIFT reps that I talked to after the first purchase have had extremely poor customer service and communication. I was able to go through all the processes MYSELF before even getting a proper response from UPLIFT.

I have to leave this review, because I've never had such a great experience with any customer service rep from any company before.
Steven B. From Uplift Desk was the most helpful, prompt, and friendly representative I've spoken to. After having called, live chatted, and emailed with probably 7 agents from Uplift, all of whom were professional, Steven B still completely stood out – and again, among all reps I've had to contact about orders from other companies.
My return request was a bit more complicated, since there were 2 orders for different attachments for a keyboard tray system, but he completely understood the situation and my request, and was also so courteous and kind on the phone. (Usually, most agents sound like they're reciting from a script or are not really nice). On top of that, I was asking for an unusual request, but he didn't just reject it outright and say that's not company policy or something. Steven said he'd look into what might be possible in this scenario, sent me a confirmation email promptly (again something I usually always need to ask for or check back on later), and even followed up with me the first thing the next day. And right after I got back to him.
Other Uplift Desk agents have been professional and not robotic, but they usually take a few days to respond, meaning I've had to do the work of checking back in and creating reminders for myself to do that, which is work and extra time.
I've had to talk to several agents for this keyboard tray system order that was ultimately easy to mount, like most of their products, but for me it unfortunately didn't work with my footrest and unadjustable armrests, which I was bummed about. But it would've been really annoying if I didn't get a refund for all this work and time spent on this system, and I'm very relieved I luckily got connected to Steven when I called.
As an editor, I find Uplift desks are awesome (prob the best?), and all their attachments are simple and great (though some things are a bit overpriced even if they're high quality and durable), but this last customer service experience with Steven has made me definitely want to get other desk accessories, despite the price for some things, because I know if something ends up not working for my setup, then I don't have to worry about dealing with inefficient, unfriendly, difficult customer service.
Often I do a lot of research on options before buying to avoid having to deal with any of that. Sometimes it's hard to even talk to a real person these days, with chat bots and AI. Very glad also Uplift isn't going that route (their live chat is actually really good).
Just very happily surprised there are customer service agents out there who truly want to help you AND excel at their job. Unfortunately, a very hard combo to find.
Tip for consumers:
Best adjustable desk. High quality attachments / accessories (a bit overpriced, but they'll last a long time and are intuitive to set up or mount). Customer service stands out the most as the best thing about the company in my experience.
