I needed help with ensuring my order was tax-exempt. I e-mailed the customer service address and Steven Lawrence got back to me very quickly. He worked with me to get the right information and to get the order processed quicky. He was helpful and kind every step of the way!
The deliveries came in random shipments on random days. Never got a update on shipment changes and kept having to call about missing pieces as I found find out by building without being able to. Had to work a high stressful job on the floor for days before all pieces came in. Still waiting for another. A $3000 desk shld not be this unorganized. The directions were also terrible to put together. Whoever made them is in the wrong career. Hopefully the stress this desk caused me will be better one day when all the pieces get here…..

I had spent quite a few hours researching standing desks, and I settled on a few great options, but I still wasn't quite sure which brand to go with. I knew about Uplift's quality from coworkers and family that purchased their desks, but what drove me to finally make a purchase with them was speaking with Avalon Myst from their team! It was an above and beyond experience, and I felt completely cared for during that experience. I felt like I made the right choice going with a brand that cares about putting such smart and compassionate individuals on their team- I'll happily place my work from home experience in their hands.

I first started my experience with Uplift by chatting with Victoria Tankersley on the website's chat function. She was quick to answer and was very helpful, ultimately connecting me with Samantha Cobb.
Sam was also very helpful and fast to respond, especially considering she was responding on a weekend. I appreciated both of their willingness to help, as well as their prompt responses.
Overall, I would cite both of their efforts as reasons why I decided to go with Uplift as opposed to another company.

Requested that this heavy desk be left at door. It was left in mail room, meaning more money that 5'1" me would have to pay to have it delivered properly. Uplift Desk was of ZERO HELP. Returned desk immediately.

I had called customer support to ask if I could take advantage of a sale after I had already bought my desk (this was within 48 hours of purchase). I've been enjoying my V2 desk with a 30x72 bamboo top. Desk is top notch mechanically and the bamboo top I love. Recently, I decided I wanted to downsize my desktop to a 24x48. Steven was super nice and helpful in guiding me thru all the steps I needed to make this adjustment. I ordered everything on a Monday afternoon, and it looks like I'll receive my order by Friday in Los Angeles.

After I unplugged one of the connections on my UPLIFT Desk and then plugged it firmly back in again, the desk failed to respond to the up and down controls. No response. I emailed UPLIFT's Customer Service
Department explaining my problem and asking for help. Julian Lanza replied with an email detailing the steps that I needed to take to restore the function buttons. I followed his instructions, and was successful in putting the desk back on track. I am very grateful to have it functioning normally once more! This kind of customer service makes me happy. It was SO helpful.

(Let's call it 4.5 stars) This is my second desk from UPLIFT, after buying one several years ago. My first experience was smooth (despite some delays during COVID), and I continue to use that desk 5 days/week today -- the desk still looks and acts brand new. Given how positive my first experience was, I decided to go with UPLIFT again for a second desk. This second experience was somewhat disappointing at first in that the desktop arrived with two defects (although everything else arrived in perfect condition). However, Julian from their Customer Service was very helpful and incredibly prompt in responding to the issue, and offered several options for moving forward. It is always unnerving to buy larger items online (particularly furniture), but I am heartened by this positive experience interacting with their Customer Service.

My wife and I have purchased 2 full desk setups during this year's work from home situation, and they've been great! We chose Uplift after reading reviews on The Wirecutter and we thought the different types of woods to chose from were great. One of our desks was a less expensive Bamboo, the other was Acacia. Both are gorgeous! The included options for decluttering wires have also been very helpful.
The only downside we've seen have been out of Uplift's control, and that's been some shipping issues with FedEx -- the larger items have sometimes shown up damaged, but Uplift has been quick to correct those issues and make things right. If anything, seeing how well they correct any issues that pop up have made us all the happier for choosing them! Phone support has been tough to get through, I'm not going to lie, but they are insanely great at handling issues over email and/or calling you back quickly. 10/10 will buy again!

In Texas, they say "Keep Austin Weird" and the folks at Upliftdesk.com reflect that zany positive energy through their amazing customer service experience. The website is very intuitive but you owe it to yourself to talk to one of their fun-loving customer service representatives. They have a lot of expert insight into their products and actually helped me make smarter decisions based on things like my height and work style. My experience with D. Freeberg was surely one I will not soon forget. It felt like I was talking to someone I've known for years. After finalizing my order, I came away feeling like the folks at Upliftdesk are a great group of individuals. I recommend all my friends, family, and colleagues shop Upliftdesk first if they are looking for a Sit-Standing Desk.

I had a payment issue with my online order, but when I called customer support, Steven B helped me out. Steven was EXTREMELY helpful in fielding my tech/website glitch, and not only found a way to help me get my order processed, he got me an even LARGER discount for the minimal hassle I had experienced. He also contacted a few different departments to make sure I had answers to all different sorts of questions (billing, warrantee, parts, etc). He took the time to help me make decisions on which add-ons to purchase, and walked me through the process to turn me into an informed buyer. When deciding on a desk, I highly recommend calling someone at Uplift to help you understand which selections you are making. Steven and the other reps seem to give honest and helpful feedback. I had issues with the tilt of my brand new Range Dual Monitor Arm. On 8/15/22, I contacted Uplift Customer support via their online chat asking for help to adjust the tilt on the monitor. Avalon Myst was the support rep that helped me. She was super friendly and personable, and made my experience pleasant. After sending me guides and trying to help troubleshoot it, she determined it was best for her to contact the warranty department. The next day, I got a shipping notification that a new part was being sent and received the new part about two days later. It took less than a week for my issue to be resolved. I am one very happy customer!

I purchased 7 cable sleeves in n effort to hide cords in my office. These sleeves didn't perform the job as I needed and so I asked to return them. They told me no, since I bought more than 4, they have a policy to not allow a return of more than 4. Have you ever heard of anything like this before? Since this was my first experience with them, I gave them a 1 star.

Many thanks for the awesome customer service from Avalon Myst! My UpliftDesk was stuck in the raised position and through the online chat she (very patiently) helped me try to reset the controller. When that didn't work she quickly located my original purchase information and had me send a few photos so the warranty team could step in. Less than 48 hours later I had new parts and a fully functioning desk. I could not be more pleased with the excellent customer care from Avalon and top quality products from Uplift Desk.

I recently made a purchase that was intended on being a tax exempt purchase. Well tax was taken out and I called Uplift Desk and got in touch with Danielle Breed to get the situation handled. Danielle swiftly did what was necessary and within 1 business day, I received notification that the tax portion was being refunded as necessary.

I recently bought their standing desk with the c-commercial frame. First impressions have been great so far. Very sturdy and the height changing works very nicely. Not the hardest thing to build given how well it works, although I would take the recommendation to build with two people very seriously. Not only for putting the desk rightside-up, but for screwing in a heavy metal beam while needing to hold it up.
Their customer support has been fantastic the whole way through. I worked with Kianna to get specific options the website wasn't giving, like having it delivered on a certain day, and helping with shipping address problems I ended up having. I also spoke to Marianne who was able to quickly assist me with an issue I had with building the desk. Overall great company and great product!
