I needed help with ensuring my order was tax-exempt. I e-mailed the customer service address and Steven Lawrence got back to me very quickly. He worked with me to get the right information and to get the order processed quicky. He was helpful and kind every step of the way!
The deliveries came in random shipments on random days. Never got a update on shipment changes and kept having to call about missing pieces as I found find out by building without being able to. Had to work a high stressful job on the floor for days before all pieces came in. Still waiting for another. A $3000 desk shld not be this unorganized. The directions were also terrible to put together. Whoever made them is in the wrong career. Hopefully the stress this desk caused me will be better one day when all the pieces get here…..
While you can definitely go it alone and make a purchase of any of the fantastic Uplift Desks from their website, don't do it! Why? Because you will miss out on the experience and opportunity to work with the Customer Service and Sales team members, such as Samantha P! Samantha took the time to review my checkout cart to double-check it for items I may have missed. The part that just took it over the top was when she helped apply discounts and even added items to my order that are not available when going it alone. She was extremely helpful in answering my questions - the original reason I even engaged with her - and went the extra mile with supplying me with a personal checkout link that included the work she did on my order. Samantha truly made the buying experience at Uplift a notch about online shopping! OH! Did I mention that the free shipping ended up delivering ALL of my desk the VERY next day?!?! Next day delivery bonus! Thank you Samantha and Uplift for a great buying experience! On to setting up my desk and working from it!

I rarely buy furniture. But I'm so glad I decided to treat myself to an Uplift Desk. It has refreshed my office work. When I get tired of sitting at the computer, I just click the button and now I'm standing. Then when I'm tired of standing, I click the button and now now I'm sitting - all without interrupting the flow of my paperwork. Of course it's great to step away from tedious work and take a quick walk. But one can't always do this. The Uplift Desk gives me much more comfort while slugging through my day! But it's not just a good product, it's a good company. I had a GREAT experience working with Tim R. Should you decide to buy one of their desks, ASK FOR TIM R. This guy was outstanding and very helpful in walking me through the process - getting the setup that was ideal for me. And he gave me a really a good deal. A year after buying and enjoying my desk, my wife wanted one. Of course I went back to Tim and he did it again: we got an ideal product (with all the bell and whistles) for a very fair price. At both times, Tim beat the "running offer" of the website. At both times he through he threw in extra merchandise. He's a cool guy who errors in the favor of the customer. For example the shipping department sent me the wrong lamp. When I emailed him, he got back and told me that the correct lamp is being rushed AND that I could just keep the other lamp for free! With so many of us working from home, I decided to treat myself to a top quality standing/adjustable desk. I ordered in the midst of the pandemic, so it took a couple of months to fulfill the order. When it arrived, i was struck by the quality build --the components are very heavy, but fairly easy to assemble. If you are an older person or perhaps a smaller woman or man, you may need help with the boxes bringing them to the room where your desk will be located. Initially i had an issue with the desk not moving up or down (!), but Samantha in customer service worked with me, sending two replacement parts, which ultimately fixed the issue and the desk is functioning perfectly. While I was initially frustrated that that desk did not work "out of the box", i give the company credit for being responsive and sending me the easy to install replacement parts without hesitation, and leading me through the quick repair. So, all in all, i feel that I have a high quality desk and a company that will stand behind its products in the event that there are any issues in the future. Thank you Samantha and Uplift Desk.

I had purchased a 48" live edge pheasantwood desk and after building the desk we decided that it was slightly too small so we initiated an exchange. Long story short, I went through TWO faulty exchanges with the new 60" tops being damaged. They appeared faded and washed out in comparison to the 48" top I received. The entire process took over a month to short out as I went back and forth with Anthony and Harper. Needless to say, they and their team were able to successfully help me get a perfect condition top (albeit it was in the 60" saman variation) after numerous attempts. Both Anthony and Harper were great stewards and genuinely seemed to care. So much so that I'm here shouting them both out. My initial outreach to customer support was terrible. I forgot the gentleman's name but it was god awful. He was dismissive, rude, and did not want to help me so I'm very grateful that Anthony and Harper were able to step in. Because of them y'all have secured a life long customer and your products are top notch.

I ordered a few items from Uplift Desk over the past couple of weeks, and the team over there made the whole process a true pleasure. But what I think separates good customer service from excellent customer service is how a company reacts when things go wrong. When I received my reclaimed birch Butcher Block desk, I was disappointed to find a crack on the top surface.
Not wanting to have to go through the process of disassembling the desk, repackaging it, and waiting for FedEx to pick it up, I contacted Uplift Desk to see what my other options may be. I had the good fortune to get connected to Julian Lanza who went out of his way to make things right. In addition to issuing a partial refund for the damage, Julian also sent me a complimentary touch-up kit to make the crack less obvious. His communication over the phone and in subsequent emails was responsive, kind, and generally top-notch. With this kind of service, I have no reservations about purchasing from Uplift Desk again. It also helps that their products (at least during these first few days of operation) are very, very good!

The desk that I purchased is great. It feels high quality and the modular customization really helped me get exactly what I wanted out of it. Uplift also ships things extremely fast, which is a huge plus.
I received most of the desk quickly (it was separated into four parcels), but a shipping delay occurred on the actual top of the desk. I reached out to Uplift's support to start an investigation with FedEx. Laura Bertrand was very helpful in quickly getting an investigation set up and providing further steps for what to do.
Following the shipping delay, the desktop arrived and I discovered that it was damaged in transit (looked like it had been dropped on a corner during shipping). I was able to quickly hop on Uplift's support chat and spoke with Bney Pete, who had a replacement desktop on the way within about half an hour. Friendly and helpful service from both agents made the experience a lot better despite the shipping issue. Great communication and follow-up as well. Thankfully, the replacement top arrived on-time and without damage.
Overall, apart from the one shipping issue (which wasn't Uplift's fault), I had a great experience. I'll definitely be recommending them in the future.

I ordered the acacia butcher block tabletop for my Uplift desk. The desk arrived in pristine condition and looked incredible. After a few days, I noticed a small crack in the side of the desk, but it was nothing to write home about. I then hired someone to assemble the desk, and they did it professionally. A week after this, a huge crack appeared on the side of the desk. I e-mailed customer service at Uplift, and the representative was slow at getting back to me and was extremely unhelpful and curt. Frustrated, I called the hotline at Uplift and had the absolute pleasure of working with Kayla Cunningham, who was just the person I needed to get the job done. Kayla was empathetic, kind, and understanding. She acknowledged the situation, apologized for the other representative's behavior, and remedied the issue by offering me a discounted price on an upgraded tabletop. She also helped throw in a free advanced wire management kit since the one I had used on the broken tabletop was rendered useless. To Uplift: in a market where it is extremely difficult to find top talent, please take a moment to recognize Kayla and the tremendous assets she brings to your organization. Give her the resources to continue developing and pursuing leadership roles at your company. I am an extremely busy banker on Wall Street, and this whole situation (outside of working with Kayla) was a thorn in my side. Kayla turned an unpleasant experience into a pleasant one, and ultimately, one that was worth dealing with the thorn. I am very eager to use my new desk! Thank you Kayla! Kudos to you.

I recently moved into a new house and was looking for a durable desk at an affordable price point. I hadn't heard of UpLift previously but am very glad I found them. I was able to design the exact desk I wanted with my specific measurements to make a L-shaped desk. When the desk arrived, the table tops were heavy, which i loved since it meant the desk would be durable. Assembly took a bit but I had no trouble putting it together in an hour with the help of a friend. I have been using it a couple weeks now and have no complaints. It looks like a very high end desk and motor works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with the product. They are even running a promo with some free accessories that make my set up even better.
Additionally, I do want to call out the great customer service, specifically Avalon who helped me throughout my process. I had not yet closed on my house yet and had to push the shipping date multiple times. She was always glad to help, even after the 4th time I had to reschedule. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. I had a very pleasant experience with the company and would look to purchase another desk for my child in the future. Thank you Avalon!

Yes, I AM one of those people that never write reviews, ever. But when something stands out like this situation, I'm certainly compelled to go the extra step, take my time and bring a situation to light. I own a business called goBusiness, a work from home marketing company. I've purchased a lot from UpLift - LOVE LOVE their desks. But had one desk come to me with a split in the desktop wood. Not good. I called and got a hold of a customer service rep (I'm going to do him a favor and he will remain nameless) and he said sure I'll take care of it and get a hold of me via email if you need anything. NOTHING happened - emailed him, nothing. I was considering the "other" desk company, which I won't mention here (due to Kellys help) Frustrated I called again and got a hold of Kelly... I couldn't believe his attitude, authentic kindness and efficiency with which he handled my issue. UNREAL! He apologized and was so kind and helpful - he fully restored my faith in UpLifts company and service. He literally got the order out that minute while on the call! He even offered his direct phone for anything that I may need. Bam, that went right in my address book! Hey, if you ever need help at Uplift get Kelly Anderson on the phone. He literally is the guy who should be running and training the customer service team. Thank you Kelly for helping me get this straightened out, it was so important to me. Funny thing is, I'm looking at another desk and I'll be sticking with UpLift because of Kelly. ;)

Literally the best buying experience I have ever had with any company. The customer service is beyond helpful and most importantly listen. When I first ordered the desk at the beginning of the week it put the delivery date on a Thursday. I ended up being called on site for an all day meeting where I would not be home for the delivery. I didn't want the desk and parts sitting out in the rain plus the area I lived in is probably not the best to leave packages sitting out all day on the front porch. I contacted customer service over the course of 3 days and talked to three customer service reps to have the packages delayed, David and Jennifer (unfortunately I was unable to get the name of the third person but they were just as helpful.) The packages were delayed and came on Friday which was perfect.
I'm in the middle of a move and live by myself at the old house so I was un able to build the desk on my own so I waited for help. When I was finally able to put the desk together at the new house we found the table top had a small but long crack most of the length of the table. It was passed the 7 day mark, almost 2 weeks, but when I called and talked to Krysten she not only offered to replace the table top but also to let me keep the damaged one. Then to top it off they offered me $50 off a frame from their store if the other table top is is still usable (I believe it is.) I mentioned during my explanation that I'm in the middle of a move and Krysten offered to have the desk sent to the new house with out me even asking. Thank you guys so much, I would recommend this company to anyone.
