I have a 22' enclosed trailer I needed hauled from NV to TN. I'd never heard of Uship, but it was suggested by a friend. I posted my needs, had a few responses, and ended with a driver who had his MC and DOT #'s plus he was a TWIC driver (Dept Homeland Security clearance) and I felt confident my trailer would arrive safely. Driver kept in touch with me each day on the road and we coordinated our arrivals, his by road, mine by air, and made the drop off without a problem. I highly recommend Uship for your hauling needs. It was a simple process from start to finish.
Terrible experience. The third-party vendor contracted with this company delivered my vehicle 91 miles away from the delivery address. I had to arrange pick up in the middle of the night. The vehicle was picked up in working condition but delivered in non-working. The driver wasn't sure what happened. The vehicle has been at the dealer since the delivery. Too bad we have to use a 1-star to post a review, this company deserves a 0.
I was very happy with the company I used to haul a trailer form Michigan to NC. The shipper contacted me right away and showed up on time.

I had a 5th wheel RV hauled from Ohio to Oklahoma and was wrecked and insurance was purchased but Uship still wouldn't cover it said it was the driver's job to cover it. Do NOT use these guys ever!

Charging the shipper and transporter is robbery. Only the transporters should be charged. They are the ones in this for a profit, other than uship.

THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A "FREE MARKET". YOUR SITE PROMOTES PRICE FIXING. IF I SEND OUT AN RFQ, WHICH IS WHAT I'M DOING WHEN I LIST. THERE IS NOT ONE REASONABLE REASON TO LET ALL YOUR PARTNERS SEE THE QUOTES GIVEN. I HAD TO CANCEL A BID TO REDO SOMETHING ON IT AND THE QUOTES STARTED COMING IN DOUBLE. I HAD TWO OUT OF THREE QUOTES ON THE PRIOR BID THAT WERE 50% OF THE PRICES COMING THROUGH, AND NOTHING, NOTHING HAD CHANGED IN TERMS OF WEIGHT OR DIMENSION. EVEN ONE OF THE QUOTES THAT WAS 50% OF COST, DOUBLED THEIR COST. I TOLD ONE VENDOR I HAD QUOTE OF 50% AND HE SAID "YOUR A LIAR, I CAN SEE THE QUOTES". LISTEN YOU JERKS. THAT IS NOT, NOT, NOT FREE MARKET, YOU PRICING FIXING A HOLES! A COMPANY SHOULD BID TO WHAT ITS COSTS ARE, AND HOW IT MEETS THIER SCHEDULE, NOT BECAUSE PRICE FIXING IS IN, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME... First im gonna address some issues from former reviewers.
1. if you are going to enter an agreement read all of it dont just sign it then act disappointed when something goes wrong.
2. Understand what a transporter is and what is required. Its a easy key stroke to find u.s. m. c. A regulations read them. Educate yourself as to what requirements are actually in place and who really needs them.
3. uship sells information period. They are not required to mediate on your behalf if you bothered to read it you would know this and the contract laws that apply are in uship's state of business not your's i. E the shipper.
4. What you paid for a item is not relevant to the price That t. S. p is asking to ship it. You are paying for the time driving, the body of experience of the driver and a minimal guarantee its gonna show up.
Now as a former driver.
This co doesn't care about you they get upset when you tell the potential customer you are being charged a booking fee same as they are (the shipper).
I don't have a problem with the company making a profit but penalizing a driver for cancellations and taxing them at a higher rate makes it more difficult to win bids. This is counterproductive for everyone involved
Customers DON'T communicate with you and then complain about poor customer service.
Uship tells shippers a estimate of what they should pay. But when asked to produce this model to show how they came up with these figures,
They answer with its an average of what others paid. ( Because all t. S. p's cost are the same across the board right?) no not really.
They will fire you without notice and you cant appeal.
They dont seem to understand without t. S. p's you dont have a business model.
Maybe they should realize they aren't the only ones in the shipping industry.
In short this isn't a company you can count on they treat like chord wood " stack them up and burn them as you need them"
This is a much need service these days and you guys are doing a great job. Promaster Eddie was the best. I will be back I am sure.
Pick up was prompt and on time with no problems, delivery end was fine but one day later than expected which was no problem. Very satisfied!

Most of the wood items had scratches and fridge has dent. One of the side master bedroom side table has broken. Not properly packed.
