I have a 22' enclosed trailer I needed hauled from NV to TN. I'd never heard of Uship, but it was suggested by a friend. I posted my needs, had a few responses, and ended with a driver who had his MC and DOT #'s plus he was a TWIC driver (Dept Homeland Security clearance) and I felt confident my trailer would arrive safely. Driver kept in touch with me each day on the road and we coordinated our arrivals, his by road, mine by air, and made the drop off without a problem. I highly recommend Uship for your hauling needs. It was a simple process from start to finish.
Terrible experience. The third-party vendor contracted with this company delivered my vehicle 91 miles away from the delivery address. I had to arrange pick up in the middle of the night. The vehicle was picked up in working condition but delivered in non-working. The driver wasn't sure what happened. The vehicle has been at the dealer since the delivery. Too bad we have to use a 1-star to post a review, this company deserves a 0.
UShip charges their drivers unbelievably high delivery fees, usually 20% and now they charge their shippers a minimum of $24.99 or over 10% of total shipping to their customers. They NEVER pay the drivers on time so many of the delivery cost are up to their drivers to pay themselves. UShip management are very greedy and need to be put out of business. They are a horrible company!
Tip for consumers:
Find another company.

First, I had used Uship for several months to handle my LTL and they always tried to charge more for the freight company and I had to fight them on almost every shipment. Most recently they lost $8k worth of product on a pallet and they will not help me with my claim. It has been 8 plus months, hundreds of emails and seems like we are still nowhere closer to getting paid for our claim. I have supplied them with all the documentation 3 times and they keep delaying paying out my claim! Worst customer service! Do not USE USHIP!
Bill Floyd was excellent. My needs were not normal, and Bill accommodated them seamlessly. I would recommend Bill to anyone who needs this type of service. In the end, I made new friends with Bill and Dana.
At the beginning they gave us a quote but then they changed it and they did not stick to their word and they depend on bad companies they just delay the delivery I don't advise anybody to work with them
Tip for consumers:
be careful from them taking your money adding costs without providing services

The beginning of March we contracted to have a machine moved from Mississippi to Washington. We paid our deposit and never heard from them again. I have called multiple times only to get nothing. I spoke with the owner he claimed nobody had been working due to having covid and was in the hospital mind you during this time they were out is when we had spoke with them multiple times prior to our deposit. They actually sent us our contract during this time. Since speaking to the owner they refuse to take our calls. When I do get through to someone all they tell me is someone will get back to me. Do not send money to this company. We would like a refund at this point as we have already had another outstanding company ship our machine.
Everyone that quotes me was a scammer using someone else's company name or the name of a dissolved business. Once you've selected a quote, yahoo adds 10% to you and to them. There are no checks, no assurances and scammers with tons of negative reviews revealing they aren't a real company yet the site isn't taking them off the site.
Additionally, the app and website are poor to navigate, you are not permitted to have a proper conversation of any kind with the shipper before you hand over hundreds of pounds and you wonder if the website is screwing you as much as the scammers. Avoid at all cost. Got a cheaper quote in the end from a legitimate local haulage company with amazing credentials and no commission!
The shipper we hired committed to being ready to go but they lied. They were weeks delayed! They kept giving us excuse after excuse. We PAID and had to deal with excuse after excuse. This was a huge issue because our delivery was weather dependent and we had 9 inches of snow when our antique vehicle arrived. This posed an entirely new issue of dealing with icy roads. When we called UShip, they had nothing to say in defense that their third party company, Tempus Logix, was in breach of contract. We will NEVER use UShip again and people should know what a terrible company they are -- they take your money but then do not stand by their third party shippers.
The buyer used them to transport a non-running 1952 chevrolet deluxe from Kansas to California. I live in a rural residential are about 3/4 mile off of blacktop with gravel road access. Told them they'd need a winch to pull it on. Two months later they still haven't picked it up. Waiting until late at night for them to come only to get a call saying they can't due to mechanical failure. Ok fine pick it up next week. No call until a week later on a Sunday asking if I'm "open"...? It's residential so come pick it up. Then another dispatcher calls asking if I have a tow truck or forklift to load it? WTF, is this company using paper notes for keeping the instructions? Do not use this company because the buyer is going to soon have to buy back the vehicle at an auction because I will be done with it on my property!
Only use uShip if you'd like your item to be stolen. It's nothing more than a hub for criminals to select what they want to steal from a list. Then they just go pick it up. It should be called WeSteal.
Shipped 3 custom motorcycles from Chicago to the Florida Keys. Site was easy to use and saved over 40% from the last service I used. The trick is to do your homework and check the feedback of each provider and to choose your provider off of this. Not necessarily the cheapest. Thanks!
Uship allows ANYONE to become a transporter and if things go bad (which they usually do), uship states they are not part of that issue and pretty much to go pound sand. The amount of negative reviews is flabbergasting.
Their percentage is now 20% to transporter and roughly 20% to shipper, so in essence you are paying about 40% in fees using uship to post a load and get a phone number.
We ended up moving our shipping to www.motherload.app instead. They do not allow illegal transporters or brokers to bid on shipments.
Mike is a hardworking young man. His communication system was great. He delivered my belongings on time. Everything was safe. Mike is polite and accommodating. I am very happy with his service.
Avoid like the plague, they have the rudest customer service! They were completely unhelpful when my boxes arrived 3 weeks late. They take 20% of the pay for what, to do absolutely nothing and tell you they aren't liable for anything? They are the definition of an illegitimate business!
Stay away from this hauler, he damaged my 2 geldings and has no insurance at all and is hauling commercially illegally. His DOT authority has been revoked and they are about to shut him down. Stay away from this hauler!
The Good: Very good customer service. Timely follow up. Very helpful to individual needs and concerns.
The Bad:
I was advise of a price to pay and I sign a payment bill for less than I was quoted for. I was very happy and excited that I was saving a couple of dollars, instead I am told I have to pay the original amount I was quoted for and not the bill I signed for.
I was mad due to the lack of properly conveying the exact amount I was to paid. No fault of customer service, but I do hold accountable the people that are dealing with the account that handles the money.
As a customer the $ we spend for your services should be clear with no hidden costs. I was very disappointed. My personal view.
Overall the car I shipped got there in a timely manner and my daughter who received the car is very happy. AND that makes up for the bad experience with uShip.
My shipper contacted me early in the process to verify pickup time and delivery. She was very conscientious and cared to make sure my furniture was delivered quickly and safely. The site was easy to navigate.

Hi Lee,
Thank you for your review! We’re happy you are satisfied with your experience. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
This was my first time shipping anything this large - a 12-seat shuttle bus I purchased as an auction in Orlando, FL and I needed trailed up to Atlanta, GA.
The process of listing my shipment, getting quotes from prospective service providers, asking & answering questions, and selecting & paying for the service was very easy through uShip.
When I have another large item to ship I'll definitely consider using uShip again.
They never set up tracking but everything else went great. The driver was a really nice guy wish he could have spoken better English it was hard to communicate with him.
Hi David,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry the carrier didn't set up tracking, but are happy your items were delivered with care.
Thank you again for the feedback. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

UShip is a very good service, but you arent dealing with uShip per se... you are dealing with mostly unknown shippers. BE AWARE of who you are dealing with and expect very good and clear communication. Most of the time I have had problems with shippers delivering late... even months late. Since you dont have anything much but a phone number or email, they can ghost you anytime they choose. How easy is it to deny a call or just throw a phone away and start over again. Leaving you with no property. Just be sure you have communicated your expectations clearly and ask for very clear contact info, even a copy of an ID or DL. Once this person has your property, what power do you have to get them to deliver? UShip I can assure you does very little to nothing when it comes to these issues. At best they can block the shipper from doing business (in that account) in the future. So what? Anyway... best of luck,... I have used uship dozens of times and had no real issue with uShip. I do wish they could control the vetting system better, and create a stronger connection from the client to the shipper so we have legitimate ways of managing the process. Because now you just have to stay lucky. Lucky you got a good honest responsible shipper.
Hi Nic,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with uShip. We appreciate your honest feedback.
We understand that communication with carriers can occasionally be a challenge, and we apologize for any inconveniences you've faced. As you said, vetting, reading reviews, and being precise with what you need from the carriers before you accept a quote is the key to success. If you ever have any questions or need assistance with a listing/shipment, our support team is available to help.
We truly value your input, as it helps us improve our services and provide a better experience for our users. If you have any specific suggestions or further details you'd like to share, please reach out to our support team at support@uship.com or 800-698-7447.
Once again, thank you for choosing uShip. We look forward to working again with you in the future.
Very usefull website, it's a great place for carriers, brokers, and dispatcher. You will find people according to your search criteria and you can even make bids on your shipments. Gives you the flexibility to negotiate your shipment, I was glad that i found this website and specially the people for my shipment, they even made me a favor. I gotta say USHIP is a very reliable website.
Hired uShip to transport a trailer from Texarkana to Iowa. The trailer got picked and then left along side the road in Arkansas. The trailer got impounded and is sitting there. UShip says that it is our problem and they wont do anything about it. Terrible customer services! You get no guarantee with uShip.
The delivery company for uShip delivered my broken items to a granite countertop company in the town of intended delivery with instruct to repair and deliver. (Yes, random!) The mover left town without completing paperwork and is now unresponsive. The corporate structure of uShip allows for fingerpointing and abdication of responsibility. Full of scammers at many levels.

Do not use this company i tried to get a car transported from A to B at a cost of £384 and he used a company name that was all legit. Garage contacted me to inform me the car hadn`t been picked up so i called the named company and they don`t even use uShip as a 3rd party to get work. I had paid the deposit of £80 and then had been given a bank sort code and account number and paid the remaining balance. My bank was really good and gave me a full refund and i also got deposit back from uShip but the fact they don`t vet any party using their website is a worry stay well clear please!

Hauler Brothers were AMAZING. Iam very picky and they met all my needs. The communication was great! Their timing for pick up and delivery was great. They wrapped my item perfectly!
I definitely will be using them again...
uShip is a worldwide online transportation marketplace connecting those that need things shipped to those who do the shipping. In minutes you can create a free listing to have your item(s) shipped, choose to let potential transporters bid on your shipment or view estimates.
People and businesses use uShip because it’s easy and affordable to price, book, and ship everything from cars to cranes, freight to furniture, and households to horses—whether it’s going local or long distance.
Our shipping marketplace helps you connect with trusted, feedback-rated service providers of all kinds—large companies, small fleets, single-truck owners and even roadtrippers—that compete for your business and offer extra cargo space at a discount.
Many great companies started in a garage. uShip started in the back of a rent-a-truck. In 2001, Matt Chasen and his then fiancé, Heather, were moving from Seattle to Austin. The 9 ft. Van Matt ordered was sold out, leaving them with an enormous 20 ft. Truck.
Along that 2,500-mile drive, Matt remembered the large family heirloom armoire he’d tried–and failed–to ship a year earlier due to the astronomic shipping cost. That’s when he had his lightbulb moment that he’d become intent on solving: creating a way online to efficiently connect people’s large shipments with empty truck space so both parties win.
Matt would go on to make this his focus at business school, where he met fellow students Jay Manickam and Mickey Millsap. The trio honed the idea, and in 2004, they launched uShip.com.
uShip is based in Austin, Texas, with European headquarters in Amsterdam.
Every 30 seconds a new shipment is listed on uShip worldwide.
Hi Muhammad,
