I have a 22' enclosed trailer I needed hauled from NV to TN. I'd never heard of Uship, but it was suggested by a friend. I posted my needs, had a few responses, and ended with a driver who had his MC and DOT #'s plus he was a TWIC driver (Dept Homeland Security clearance) and I felt confident my trailer would arrive safely. Driver kept in touch with me each day on the road and we coordinated our arrivals, his by road, mine by air, and made the drop off without a problem. I highly recommend Uship for your hauling needs. It was a simple process from start to finish.
Terrible experience. The third-party vendor contracted with this company delivered my vehicle 91 miles away from the delivery address. I had to arrange pick up in the middle of the night. The vehicle was picked up in working condition but delivered in non-working. The driver wasn't sure what happened. The vehicle has been at the dealer since the delivery. Too bad we have to use a 1-star to post a review, this company deserves a 0.
Uship sent one offer and when I tried to book they refused saying their bid was wrong then they sent me another from the same company and when I tried to book they refused again saying their bid was wrong. Finally got a bid from ATP logistics, Damion was right on it and got it done toot sweet. Pablo delivered truck in the agreed time allotment. Damion kept me informed every turn off the way. The next time I need something shipped I will definitely call ATP logistics.
After I was booked with ATP logistics, UShip continued to send me bids even after my truck was delivered..
Jose did a great job of getting my Terry Classic out of the impound. He then went and had new tires put on and got it home to me one day earlier than the day we originally said he would. Great guy!
I recently had the pleasure of using this website to arrange shipping, and I must say it's been an incredibly user-friendly experience from start to finish.
Navigating the website was a breeze; the design is intuitive, and I found everything I needed with ease. What stood out the most was the simplicity of obtaining quotes and arranging shipping. The process was straightforward and streamlined, saving me valuable time and effort.
The quote system was quick and accurate, providing a transparent overview of the costs involved. I appreciated the clarity in pricing, which is often a pain point with other services. It's evident that the website prioritizes user convenience.
Arranging shipping was equally hassle-free. The platform guided me through each step, and I encountered no unexpected hurdles. The communication was prompt and efficient, ensuring I was well-informed throughout the entire process.
In an era where online transactions can sometimes be a headache, this website stands out as a beacon of user-centric design. If you're looking for a seamless experience from quote to shipment, I highly recommend giving this platform a try. It has certainly earned my trust, and I'll be returning for future shipping needs.
They allow any unlisenced, uninsured, un qulified driveer on the load board, the will pick the item up and keep it and sell it for cash, get a new email and phone number and do it agin. FGound out later the same thing happened to my old neighbor.
A driver accepted a job to pick up and deliver a desk. I gave him a 2 week window. We're now 3 weeks out and he's missing in action. Basically, he no longer wants the job but he will not cancel it because it will count against him. If I cancel the job, my review of him will not be in his regular reviews or affect his review rating. It will be in a separate pool of reviews listed in "cancelled jobs" (which no one looks at). So, under uShip's policy, a driver can simply refuse to deliver any job he no longer wants (and wait for customer to cancel it) and it won't affect his rating on uShip. This is a HUGE flaw in uShip's policy. What could be worse than a driver who fails to respond to a customer or deliver an item, then refuses to cancel the job knowing it will affect his rating? If I cancel the job, it simply reflects on me, but it's the driver who failed on his end and his failure to complete the job won't affect his reviews. Terrible system which does not oblige or encourage a driver to follow through if he finds a better paying job or just decides he no longer wants to follow through on his obligation. UShip needs to change this system of leaving reviews and hold drivers accountable. Until it does, drivers will simply blow off any job they change their mind about, even after a customer has waited weeks for a delivery. Terrible policy that encourages drivers to do whatever they feel like doing. Drivers need to be accountable the way they are with any other shipping service.
Tip for consumers:
Beware. UShip demands no accountability for its drivers.
Slow and don't work with reliable drivers. And no notifications on delays or cancellations. Called over 26 time to schedule the same pick up. Horrible service.

I WAS WORRIED ABOUT SHIPPING A FORKLIFT WHEN ALL THE LOCAL BUSINESSES WERE CLOSED I POSTED MY NEEDS IN USHIP AND SEVERAL COMPANIES CONTACTED ME RIGHT AWAY I FOUND A COMPANY THAT BROUGHT THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO PICK UP MY FORKLIFT IN CALIFORNIA AND DELIVER IT IN UTAH VERY HAPPY EXPERIENCE I WILL USE THEM AGAIN
Hi Javier,
Thank you for leaving such a fantastic review! We're delighted to know that you had a great experience and were able to find a carrier to haul your heavy equipment. We sincerely look forward to the chance to work with you again in the future.
One thing most shippers may not realize, is that U$#*! does not require any proof whatsoever from carriers to register and start giving quotes and providing services. No background check either. Commercial cargo insurance costs at least double what a typical auto/truck insurance policy does, mine is $9,000/year with a perfect driving history. So, weekend warriors, anyone with a freakin mini van or an F150 or even a station wagon, can do it. It is completely on the shipper to do their own due diligence and check things like USDOT compliance and the proper type of insurance. Or even if a driver actually has a valid drivers license! So basically any meth/crack head can do runs for drug and beer money, which in turn hurts the hell out of legitimate & legal carriers! Ill admit that it is a brilliant business model... gobs of profit and no liability or responsibility at all!
Tip for consumers:
deal directly with the providers and get referrals and check licensing and insurance.
No support after they get your money
Contract to deliver in 5 days took over two weeks
Rude service. Blame carriers they allow to bid on their website
Avoid this company
The first two times I used BVG Hauling Ltd, which were decent experiences. The third time I used JC Mover of Mississauga (Joseph Carron) and boy, was it a nightmare. Initially, Joseph and I signed an agreement. He also requested for us to take a picture of our driver's license if we were stopped by the OPP. The day of the move he arrived 1000hrs instead of the scheduled 0800hrs. When he arrived to my new address, he basically left my possessions outside the front door of the building or in the front lobby for me to bring to my apartment. No care was taken to safeguard my items. My stereo surround system was left outside along with boxes. My bookcase, clothes chest and bookcase were taken apart. Miscellaneous items were broken or missing. I never encountered such unprofessionalism. Stay far away!
Tip for consumers:
The address on the contract we signed listed his business as JC Mover at 1-224 Queen Street South, Mississauga, L8M 1L5. This address is actually a Canada Post office.

1 Small apartment move.
Excellent service! I paid a bit more to get a carrier using a small van (vs pick up w tarp). They kept me well informed of ETA. Courtesy white glove team. Recommend highly for small moves.
They lost 2 expensive items, we had insurance but they have a loophole. Do not trust them if you have impt/expensive items more than $500. The insurance states 25k if somehting happens to your items, but in order to get that deal you need to pay 700.
I signed up on UShip to ship an 80-lb crate from springfield, Mo, to Albuquerque. The crate was stoutly built and the contents pretty much unbreakable. The route was a straight shot down I-44 and out I-40. There was no indication before I began messaging the driver, and there was no indication before he and I agreed on a price, that UShip was going to charge me an additional 30% for their service. UShip is a rip-off. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
No explanation, no apologies. I have used uship over and over without issue. They then decided to suspend my account. Won't discuss it with me at all. Simply amazing.
Enables bad shippers. Shipper took one month to pick up my item. Canceled the order. Drove around with it for another month before returning it you ship didn't have any recourse for his actions.

Ive buy Harleys from all over America and Ive used uship to get them to Los Angeles. Theyve picked up bikes for me from Seattle, New York, Flordia, texas etc etc and uship always delivered ontime with no problems. A bike dealer actually recomended uship to me. Im based in New Zealand and using uship theres never been any stress, no worries and no damage. 5 years plus, Thanks for the Excellent service Uship, always on time if not earlier!
And USHIP didn't hold him accountable for anything. They don't protect the consumer and they don't qualify their shippers. You'll get the snarky kid throwing your merchandise in the bushes and riding his bike on down the street. NEVER AGAIN

Race to the bottom rates get what you pay for
To much bottom feeders use this site not worth the hassle bidding lower and lower
Site then will not let you place a bid of say 710 on a 715 load and says must be lower that 690
But they don't tell you they take 20% of the profit of that 690 if that's accepted
I've used this site once before made nothing and tried to use it again but same result
If your an auto transporter stay away from uship you will make no money
And if your a customer im sure the type of auto shippers will be the illegal ones, uship don't check for insurance or proper authority you could give them any dot number and your singed up
Support does not exist and good luck trying to get a damage claim
I used uShip when I needed help with my move from Frisco, TX to Philadelphia, PA and promptly got connected with a moving company that was able to assist and charge a reasonable price. I took a dryer from Wayne Pa to Chesapeake Va on July 15th for UShip and I have not been paid! This was my first time going on the road working for this company and I am very disappointed! My name is Scott Winrader.
Hey Scott, I'm sorry you haven't received your payment. I looked at your account and I can confirm that the payment code was activated on 7/15 and it's been sitting in your account since then waiting for you to withdraw it. I sent you an email directly with instructions on how to do so - keep an eye out for it! - CB@uShip

uShip is a worldwide online transportation marketplace connecting those that need things shipped to those who do the shipping. In minutes you can create a free listing to have your item(s) shipped, choose to let potential transporters bid on your shipment or view estimates.
People and businesses use uShip because it’s easy and affordable to price, book, and ship everything from cars to cranes, freight to furniture, and households to horses—whether it’s going local or long distance.
Our shipping marketplace helps you connect with trusted, feedback-rated service providers of all kinds—large companies, small fleets, single-truck owners and even roadtrippers—that compete for your business and offer extra cargo space at a discount.
Many great companies started in a garage. uShip started in the back of a rent-a-truck. In 2001, Matt Chasen and his then fiancé, Heather, were moving from Seattle to Austin. The 9 ft. Van Matt ordered was sold out, leaving them with an enormous 20 ft. Truck.
Along that 2,500-mile drive, Matt remembered the large family heirloom armoire he’d tried–and failed–to ship a year earlier due to the astronomic shipping cost. That’s when he had his lightbulb moment that he’d become intent on solving: creating a way online to efficiently connect people’s large shipments with empty truck space so both parties win.
Matt would go on to make this his focus at business school, where he met fellow students Jay Manickam and Mickey Millsap. The trio honed the idea, and in 2004, they launched uShip.com.
uShip is based in Austin, Texas, with European headquarters in Amsterdam.
Every 30 seconds a new shipment is listed on uShip worldwide.
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your feedback! We're so happy to see that you had a great uShip experience. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
