Vehicle was damaged during pickup and pickup driver spoke no English and didn't have any translation software. Scheduled pickup time was over 4 hours late without any notification. When the company was contacted, they responded stating they were just the broker and go after the driver who never responded. Buyer beware
Terrible experience. The third-party vendor contracted with this company delivered my vehicle 91 miles away from the delivery address. I had to arrange pick up in the middle of the night. The vehicle was picked up in working condition but delivered in non-working. The driver wasn't sure what happened. The vehicle has been at the dealer since the delivery. Too bad we have to use a 1-star to post a review, this company deserves a 0.
Advice? Find someone else. Quoted, accepted, paid. Weeks later I get an invoice from UShip for an upcharge. I know you're a third party but stand behind the quote. Go to bat for your customer. Load was listed as NOT being able to be stacked. So the pallet was inches higher than originally thought. You couldn't use the space above the pallet anyways! So why did the few extra inches need an extra charge? I've heard size matters- but really?! Must need to charge for airspace. Also, shall we talk about timing.? Delivery was a week late. I know that's Central Transports problem- don't use them either.
Never again will I use this company got an extra $100 and the driver not once told me there was gonna be an extra fee. I repeat I will never use uShip again also they never replied to my emails or calls when I tried to dispute it

They lost 2 pallets with approx $42,000 and they sent me a delivery confirmation and they were never delivered. I contacted them and they said sorry they maid a mistake and they lost my shipments. WOW really! This has to be the worst experience ever when dealing with a retail company! Now I have to hire an attorney to sue all parties involved and contact BBB, Attorney Gen. Of IN. And leave reviews on every search engine if this matter is not resolve in a timely manner.

Broker SGT transport picked up the shipment and sub-contracted to Blue Faster Express. Tracking never worked and communication was non-existent during transit. Once the shipment was delivered, the driver left without collecting $250 cash or the payment code. After that mistake was realized, the communication was frequent, harassing, abrasive and threatening. In the end the transport company was paid in full but it was overall a terrible experience.

I have mixed feelings about UShip. UShip customer service was great and responded relatively quickly. However, since they hire third-party contractors in order to make these deliveries UShip can not help reaching out these third-party companies. After booking your shipment the only people that can help you are the third-parties customer service. I booked with Southeastern Freight Lines and although they delivered our packages without issues it was so hard to get them to even pick up out shipment. I scheduled a pick-up for Tuesday (07/30/24) and they kept "skipping" our stop without even a call stating they had an issue with the delivery instructions. Updates from both UShip and Southeastern Freight Lines were VERY minimal. Our shipment wasn't picked up until Thursday (08/01/24) and that only happened because I kept having to call customer service for a driver ETA. IT was a very stressful and infuriating experience and will most likely not use UShip again. The packages were delivered but it was SUCH an inconvenience I wouldn't want to experience again.

This was our second time using uShip. This time the first shipper we agreed to use backed out, so that was a first for us. He was difficult to get responses from, so probably was good in the long run. Contacted uShip to get involved and they were super helpful. Gave us good advice, contacted the shipper that we didn't end up using and followed up the rest of the shipment. At their direction we relisted our ad and had multiple shippers to choose from. It worked out and the items arrived when they said they would with no damage. Will use again.

I have a 22' enclosed trailer I needed hauled from NV to TN. I'd never heard of Uship, but it was suggested by a friend. I posted my needs, had a few responses, and ended with a driver who had his MC and DOT #'s plus he was a TWIC driver (Dept Homeland Security clearance) and I felt confident my trailer would arrive safely. Driver kept in touch with me each day on the road and we coordinated our arrivals, his by road, mine by air, and made the drop off without a problem. I highly recommend Uship for your hauling needs. It was a simple process from start to finish.

I found uShip to be a great option for shipping my kayak from CO to NJ. Other shipping sites were estimating as much as $500 for the service, much more than the kayak was even worth. I liked that uShip is based on your offer being accepted, and will give you a recommendation to what similar items shipped for. That way you get matched with a driver who knows exactly what he's getting into. My driver was awesome, he texted me updates, and even dropped off the kayak right at my house. Makes shipping incredibly affordable. You choose your driver and can see their reviews so you know pretty much exactly who you are hiring. I ship furniture with Uship for a fraction of what it would cost me with other mainstream shipping services. The drivers are personally accountable as well so even though I still insure my items(for a very low cost) I don't have to worry about if the piece will show up damaged. You also have increased communication, why track a package(even though its available) when you can text message your drivers! I am really appreciative for this service, it keeps MY prices lower and more affordable for my customers when I don't have to charge 600-1000 dollars to ship a dresser across the country. So many reasons to like this company.
I used Uship a couple of times in its early years, and was very pleased, but at that time it was a much less structured process with no online app. Venturing into it again recently was interesting. The app takes a little bit of getting used to, but was generally easy to navigate once I found my way around. A couple of points of abrasion included that there were several bidders who didn't have any experience and when I asked for a description most did not reply. I also had an issue with bidders not paying attention to my very specific available delivery dates. Putting my request out there in advance was more trouble than it was worth because everybody wanted to come earlier than it was available for pick up and delivery. All that being said, the company I ended up going with was terrifically, flexible, incredibly professional, and just downright nice to work with. I would use Uship again.
You will never pay what you're quoted. They compete for a low rate then add on extras later. This has happened more than once with them saying weights are off, residential vs commercial when absolutely all the details were given. We have a pallet scale. I would avoid using uship at all costs they will not stand behind their customers at all.

New customer and I had a part needing shipped from Nebraska to Florida. Driver was responsive and communicated well. Delivered on time and as promised. All I would say is your service depends on the driver and you have some responsibility to accommodate the unpredictable nature of individualized shipping. Be flexible when at all possible and understand they are trying to book multiple loads and make a delivery schedule that is profitable for them. You will get better service in the end.

I used the system twice and got good results both times. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because their system said the average price for my most recent transaction should've been about five to $600 and I was getting quotes of 1200.
I would say if you read the reviews well, you should be OK and I think it's a fantastic system to throw a bid out there. No regrets.

Same day response. Shipment from Florida to Pennsylvania. Drivers helped load and unload even though this was not required. All items arrived safely with no damage. Payment was through the Broker and made electronically. There was no cash exchanged. Very professional.
