This site was extremely helpful to me. I needed the vin info in order for me to decide whether I would make a purchase of this specific vehicle. Great site everyone needs to use this site prior to making any car purchase.

The site provided very helpful information to assist me in buying a used car. The history report was much more in-depth the the report the dealer gave me. Fortunately there wasn't anything that worried me enough to not buy the car, but at least it got me thinking of other questions I could ask the dealer for information on.

As a person who has to run vehicle histories very often this site will be invaluable! I needed to run a history just to check something with a vehicle and being it's the weekend the tag office was closed. This site is a lifesaver when it comes to buying cars. One rarely wants to fork over the cash on history reports on every single car one looks at. This site is a must when it comes to buying used cars!

If you want to know if a car that you are looking into has been in an accident, this is the place to be. You might still want to buy a Carfax, but at least you will know right away if the car has a rebuilt or savage title or if it has been in an accident.

This website is very easy to use. I was interested in purchasing two used vehicles, a 2016 Nissan Maxima and a 2016 Mercedes GLA 250. I searched each vehicle by its VIN number and got all the information I needed.

I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of information included in the report I requested. The report included extensive history data on the vehicle I wanted to review, and I was able to research all of the items I wanted access to using this report.

I will definitely use this site again in the future, and I will also let others know what is available in the reports provided.

This page is kickass! I have thought I had a salvage title for my jeep for years. Turns out, it was just a reissue of a title. I wouldn't have known this except for this site, my car is worth 500 dollars more knowing this. This site literally saved me 500 bucks on the sale of my car. Have looked up other cars on here, its easy to link prospective buyers too who can check out your vehicle history easily! A+++ site, ALWAYS FREE! Would even consider paying for this service if it ever asked!

The information is the same and in most cases better detailed than a Carfax, and its free. The inter=face is a bit confusing at first and some of the headings can be misleading. For example any accident records are grouped with salvage records even if the incident did not even go to insurance. This can lead one to believe a vehicle has a salvage record when none exists. Otherwise the information is thorough and the history can be pieced together.
The only thing missing is service history, but that is available free at mycarfax.com. With this combination all the available information is free for making the best decision.

Very thorough, a no-brainer user-friendly site, easy to understand, & absolutely FREE. Why go to carfux (oops) ;) ... when they charge fees for the same info? Great report, no spamming to purchase if I want to see certain information, just a good site. I needed some information on vehicle I was buying from a private party. It is hard to make a decision without knowing the history of the vehicle. This report gave me a good idea what to expect on the car I was purchasing.

Got all the information i needed completely free of charge didn't have to pay dime. People need to understand that once you put your credit info in you will be charged. I didnt enter mine so I got free info.

Just type in the VIN# of the vehicle you want information about and almost instantly, you get everything you would want to know about the vehicle you are considering. Not just records, but also the vehicle specifications, gas mileage, ect. This is a GREAT tool for researching vehicles that you may want to purchase.

So much information was given for free. Wish I would have known about this before I bought my vehicle since the dealership withheld information. If I had known this, I wouldn't have purchased the car.

I discovered Carshistory.org from surfing the Web and they stated that they provide carfax like reports. So I said let me try to look up my car, a 2011 Toyota Camry XLE V6, and I was pleased with the detailed report including true car value and estimated mileage for the next 5 years. I got the report quickly and they offered to send me a hard copy for free. Great website. I definitely recommend this website as a carfax alternative.

For a dollar, I got a ton of information about a vehicle I was interested in buying. I learned about any recalls it had had, how many owners/times sold as well as when and where it was manufactured and what "incidents" were reported on this vehicle. It is well worth the cost. Additionally, I got a several texts from a live person when I was looking ( late night on a Saturday) to make sure that I had received access to the information and would answer any qirlestions I might have had. Was nice that it wasn't an automated thing. What a great service.

This was the 2nd site I pulled up for info on my vehicle. The first was confusing withing 30 seconds. Vehiclehistory was a breeze and right on the money with what my bank told me my car value was a couple days later. I will use Vehicle history in the future!

Excellent site, marvelous job. It helps me to find the date when the car was sold on auction. I wish you provided with auction listing numbers, and also possibility to check for Canadian salvages.
