Bought a 2018 Cayenne in 2022 (23kmiles). Paid almost 6k upfront for this trash warranty. I spent over $600 in diagnostics and then they only wanted to pay for 1/4 of the job, even after my deductible. These parts ARE ON THE CONTRACT but they wont wanna pay any repair place for their time. You cannot get a high tier warranty than the one I purchased. I wish I'd have taken that money and put it in the stock market, I'd have all my repairs covered with money left over.

I purchased a contract. July 2019. March 2024, transmission problem,2016 GMC Yukon XL. Not eligible! Wheel size when bought from dealer, 20". Vehicle wheel size is 22' on door jamb. Not covered because wheel size was not correct,4.5 years of payments! A representative told me that the vehicle should never have been covered from day one. Told 3 times, a manager would call me, never happened once. Total scam!
My experience with Veritas. I have their warranty on my 2014 BMW 650i Gran Coupe. Had a fuel pump fail. Diagnosed immediately by the mechanic. Veritas kept going back and fort about what codes they needed to see. Once they decided to cover the replacement they wanted to use a cheap after market replacement. Of course I am not willing to do that so I have to pay the difference. That is in the warranty so that is not my complaint. My complaint is it has taken two weeks to get to this point. The mechanic says Veritas was making ridiculous requests. For instance questioning why the code is not in while the car is not running? Etc.
I paid a lot of money for this warranty $4400) and had never used it in the two years I have owned the car. Probably won't in the next two years cause I rarely drive it. But, if I had to do it all over again, this repair, I would have just paid for out of pocket. That is how bad this experience has been for me. Luckily I had another vehicle to drive as they limit what they will pay for a rental. The repair is going to be $1300 which Veritas is covering $700 or so. I have to cover the rest. So being without my car and paying $4500 for a warrant has saved me $700 in the two years I have had it.
I am writing this review because no one at Veritas cared about my experience. I am not complaining about the cost of the warranty or them wanting to use cheap parts. I am complaining about how long it took to reach a resolution, Too long. I would not recommend getting their warranty.

I bought the comprehensive plus warranty when I bought my 2019 F250. Well let me tell everyone it sucks. Took it to the ford dealership to have it check for shifting issues, they determined it was the Valve Body in the transmission which is a major lubricated working part of the transmission. When Veritas was called and given the info and everything from the dealer, they told them it was covered but then called back later and said it wasn't covered. When I called to ask why it wasn't covered they said becasue it's not listed on the contract, when I argued the fact with the supervisor that it is a major lubricated working part of the transmission he placed me on hold then came back and told me that after checking into it more it's considered an electrical component and is not covered. They were just trying to find excuses on why they don't have to cover it, so they get your money for the contract then find loop holes on why they don't have to cover it when you need it, and that is poor customer service and the Better Business Bureau and State of California well be notified of their shady business habits.

Do nothing do business with this company. I had an alternator burn out under the warranty. They would not pay for labor and only half the alternator price. They tell my repair facility to have the customer call them. When I did they would not allow me to file a dispute or talk to me.
I have worked with a lot of insurance company's and this one take the cake they do not even pay retail price for parts even though if I was the dealer they would as a small business and auto repair I should be paid the same at the dealer I was cut on labor and prats. Was told to pass that to the customer I take pride in taking care of my customer so I did not pass that on In the end this job has cost me money then making any profit or at least break even. In the future I will not work with this company at all
I have both a mechanical and tires warranty with them. 2 months I found out I had an oil leak in my Durango. Took it to the dealership. The dealership contacted Veritas. The dealership open the engine to diagnose the problem. Veritas came and took pictures. They then refused to pay for my repairs stating the dealership tampered with the car. Meanwhile everything done at the dealership was recorded on video. They then said the dealership did it get the ok to open the engine to assist what the damages were. They also said I was denied for not producing my maintenance records. I paid $3500 in total for the warranty and these Frauds are trying all moves to not honor the warranty
Terrible service. Claim process is very slow. They will do anything they can to delay the process to make you despair and pay out of pocket, or they will give nonsense excuses on delay reason. Been waiting almost two months just for them to confirm approval and ship the part my vehicle needs. Customer service is the worst I have dealt with. Maybe 1/10 reps will help you instead of saying "that's just how it is" I highly recommend to stay away from this warranty.
I brought a Veritas policy from Shift.com when I purchased my car two years ago. Then, the transmission of my vehicle had a problem that needed to be fixed. But I didn't tell them about the issue happening to my car until a month later. Because I was struggling with my classes, feeling anxious about my classes, and I didn't have the mood and time to take my car to the dealership. When I tried to make a claim for the repair fees, I was told that I was supposed to report the problem soon after the issue occurred. But, I didn't know about that and didn't report the problem. So they refused to pay even a buck for the case. I think, although I reported the case late, so you just refused the entire thing? You don't need to pay some amount of the bill?
About two months ago, I told them that I wanted to cancel the policy, and they said they would send me an email to do that. But, they haven't sent me any email, and they keep charging me fees for the useless policy.

I recently purchased a used car and decided to get service cover from this company. It was a wise decision as they have already covered a few repairs, saving me a significant amount of money. Their coverage is comprehensive, and I have peace of mind knowing my vehicle is protected.
Tests indicated that 2 cylinders misfired, but they only repaired one since one cylinder was working at that time. They said I have to wait until it lis fires and the car is not drivable. Sounds like they are putting the driver at risk. Horrible to work with and somewhat rude. They have the power, the customer can only sue them and file a formal complaint. I will never buy a warranty from a dealer. Bad move on my part. The only good is that it is such a crappy car, the warranty has paid for itself. $4k.
Every time I have interacted with Veritas, they have helped me to feel like I am cared about, and they go out of their way to help me. Whenever I need a repair on my vehicle, I can count on their protection plan to save the day.
This is an edit to a highly critical original 1 star review which I will leave intact below. In the interim between that time and now Veritas made a very appreciated reversal and paid most of the expenses to replace the hybrid battery in our Chevy Volt. The experience was neither smooth or as complete as we would have preferred, but it saved our car. The highly stressful process dragged on for more than a month and required many phone calls/emails between Veritas and ourselves. In addition, finding a shop and battery they would approve was quite difficult with the limited budget they offered. We had to pay around $500 out of pocket in addition to the price of the warranty, but, as mentioned above, we would have lost the car without their help.
Based solely on the end result I considered giving 5 stars, but frankly we had to work harder than they did to get the work done. This traumatic experience eventually worked for us, and we are most certainly grateful, but being on disability our expenses stretched us as far financially as we could possibly afford.
To conclude, I would recommend Veritas, with caution and attention to detail. You should carefully read their lengthy contract (or any other contract for that matter) and specifically address your questions and concerns before signing. We actually called them before we bought the car and a very polite young gentleman took the time to help us with our issues which, in turn, helped us make the decision to use his company. The contract is expectedly one-sided and expensive but we found they will honor their obligations when all terms are met. With that, my family and I wish Veritas and all their customers only the best.

We was buying a hybrid and knew nothing about electric engines so we added almost $4,000 to the loan for peace of mind. Sure enough, the battery failed. AAA towed it to a dealership and the estimate was $36,500. That's not a misprint. Veritas pointed out an undisclosed ultra fine print item limiting their liability to the value of the car, or $6,800 (not much more than the cost of the warranty), of which they already took $100 to pay for the inspector to look at it. They also insisted on only new parts, so refurbished was denied. We now owe hundreds of dollars to tow the car back home plus the dealer ship's charges for diagnosing the problem. I am disabled and it is impossible to purchase another vehicle, adding a second payment, and pay off the remaining $8,000 loan. We could be forced to choose between keeping the house we built 20 years ago when we didn't know I would get sick or add a new car payment. As of Jan. 8,2023 we are actively seeking an attorney.

This is by far the worst warranty company to go with. All they care about is taking your money any way they can. My car went into a shop for an AC compressor and control arms. That shop had never done business with Veritas. They approved the repair for the control arms but not the compressor, after my car was there for over 2 weeks. Constant run around and taking as much time as possible knowing I did not have another vehicle and I have kids. After I got the control arms fixed, I took the car to Nissan and within 1 day the AC compressor was approved. So now I have to pay another $200 deductible after I just paid a $200 deductible to the first repair shop. Nissan requested repair of the shocks as they are leaking oil and Veritas told them, "while we see there is oil leaking, it isn't enough to cause failure". That seems like a safety risk to me and guess what? Once it fails I will have to pay yet another $200 deductible to get it repaired! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS WARRANTY COMPANY!
