Every negative review is 100% true! This company is a scam! DO NOT ORDER from them. Bought a "portable air conditioner" from them...what you find out when it arrives is that it is a humidifier with two ice packs--a joke! Next, I try to return it and they give you the run around: kept waiting for the email with return instructions that "would come in 24 to 48 hours." Surprise! It never came. When I called back annoyed, guy on cell phone with bad connection tried to gaslight me by making himself the victim of my "bad attitude." After talking over me, repeating the same script over and over, he hung up on me. These people are criminals...do NOT do business with them!

They had a sale on some lamps that I'd been looking at, so wanted to order them. Tried multiple times over multiple days with multiple browsers on both my phone and laptop to order but it never went through. Kept getting a "parameters needed to use API" error. Contacted customer support via website link. They initially answered and asked for more info, then ghosted me. Called customer service. The agent said they had problems with the website and sent me a link that was supposed to bypass the problem. It didn't. No option to put the order through via phone. All other attempts to contact them failed. But, they kept sending me coupon codes for up to 60% off because the items were in my cart...just couldn't pay for them. Never was successful. Not a good way to stay in business if folks can't actually order from you.

I ordered 2 items with my Discover Card. The transaction was completed. A week after my purchase, they fraudulently billed my card $29.99. (not the amount of my purchase, but an extra charge.) Discover caught it and denied the charge. Now my card has been used for a charge at Flowers By Algernon in California. I have alerted Discover. It's a shame that you can't order something without having your information stolen. Never again.

We brought an air conditioner from Vernier for my daughter's dorm. It was not allowed in her dorm. Now it's not even opened from the package but returning it is pain in my neck. There is no one when I call them to answer the phone and I have left a lot of messages. They just send the same automated email every time I send an email to their customer service. For a $200 product they have horrible customer service!

I would advise you do not purchase from this company. You can get the same product from Amazon. We received our first portable a/c unit in the beginning of May. The unit would not even turn on. So we requested a new one. This unit also did not work. I have made 4 phone calls to initiate the return process. All 4 times I have been told in 48 hours I will receive information on how to send back the units. I just made my 5th call in three weeks trying to get this issue resolved. The representative informed me today there is no record of my previous calls. Every representative I have called has been rude and unprofessional. Also pay attention to the fine print. This company will automatically sign you up for a "free membership" upon your purchase and then conveniently charge you 29.99 for the "free" membership. They refuse to refund me for products that were never used. They said they wouldn't accept returns because the shipping would be too much instead offered me a 30% refund. I paid over $300 for these two items. They try to negotiate your refund with you which is absurd and basically take your money. I never write reviews but I wanted to make sure nobody else goes through this.

They say it's American but it's actually Chinese scammers. Their products are all cheap and flimsy. They take months to deliver. Then after that I get a fraud alert from my bank. Don't give them your info

Ordered from their site never got the item; they continued to charge my card random amounts. I would have never noticed until my bank called me and said they believe that there was fraudulent charges. Several different charges from them and everytime I kept saying refund the money or provide the item they kept saying: Please check this matter with your bank as it shows on our system that the charges were unsuccessful. Came very well packed and in perfect condition. It seems like it's a lot of pieces, but it makes sense when you unwrap it. It was easy enough to put together. I needed a second person to pull and attach the back curved bar. The hex-tool they enclose is great! I was definitely angry when it arrived because the color was why I chose this, and it's darker than the photo, but it's comfortable, soft, and has middle-back support for anyone who wants that. It's also good for high adjustment. I'm 5'8" and the lowest height adjustment is correct for me. I ordered wheels for wood floors, and I'm happy overall.

Ordered item on 12 -15-23 said would be 2 to 3 days of shipping at time of order.immediately after order was placed I got email saying it would be late and was offered a 15% coupon on next order. Emailed company three times. No one has gotten back to me. Ihaven't received item as of today 12- 26-23. No contact from customer service very disappointed.

This website is running a scam. After any purchase, they default sign you up for a rewards program. Then a few weeks later, they charge you $16.95 a month for being in it. It's a predatory practice designed to take advantage of unwitting consumers. Do not buy from them.

I ordered 3 weeks ago. Still no product. They said they ship from the United States and lied. The shipping tracking number is showing it has left China. No response when calling them. Very dissatisfied! Will never order anything from them again. I tried to report to the BBB but they don't have them listed as a business.

Bought something that didn't work for me and when I asked to return it they said I have to ship it direct to their overseas warehouse, wait 4-6 weeks & I would be charged a restocking fee. Not worth the headache.

Here is a photo of the unit I received. It does not seem to have wide or long enough silicone nostril inserts to stay in comfortablally at while sleeping. I never got to use it. It simply would no stay in!
No... I do not accept the 20% money back, $15 store credit as well as the 25% restocking fee. If this is how you conduct business. I will just take the loss. I will as a result leave my review of your products to tell potential future buyers to beware of misleading information regarding this product as well as your other products. I will leave my review warning folks that the product does not work and was falsely represented on their website... Do not purchase anything from Vernier Shop as the return/refund process is a waste of time. It is purchase at your own risk... SOLD AS IS!

I've gone through a couple dog seat covers in the past and this is BY FAR my favorite! First of all I was looking for a seat cover that actually seals up the seatbelt buckle openings. It drove me nuts on previous covers that although the cover is on to supposedly protect the seats from the dirt, there were gaping holes where all the dirt would fall. Not on this seat cover! Solid Velcro to seal those holes shut.

Lies lies and more lies, purchased two heated jackets, the website said the product is in the United States and would be delivered in 5 to 7 business days and battery packs included, all of that is untrue. A third party wanted my full credit card number in order to track my jackets, i email vernier and they sent me a tracking number and the product was in China and took 3 weeks to get here with no battery packs as advertised, I sent them a screen shot of there website saying batteries included but still get no batteries, do not do business with this company!

I purchased 3 ultrasonic devices to deter rabbits in my garden. I researched these items and was sent to vernier by a legitimate website, unfortunately I can't recall which one. It took a long time to receive these and I began to suspect this was a scam. I called and requested a refund and the items arrived the next day. The cost to return was not worth it. They acted like it was made in the USA but they shipped from China. I kept them, they don't work. A couple of weeks later a $29.99 charge showed up on my account. They signed me up for a shopping subscription. I called and had it refunded and canceled. 2 days later I received a call from fraud department at my bank. Several fraudulent charges were trying to clear my bank. Fortunately the bank declined them. I had to cancel my cc and have another issued. This was the only purchase I made and the ONLY way my card could have been compromised. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I purchased 2 pairs of adjustable reading glasses in early October. I waited almost a month in disappointment. The product was cheaply made. The optical lens are cheap plastic and show distorted views. The material, product workmanship, quality, and functionality are no where close to what the customer reviewers say. It's totally farse! I bought them because they were on sale for 1/2 price (originally about $50 each). The regular reading glasses you buy at drugstores for $10-$15 are much better made. These are total junk and it's not even worth $5. I was totally dissatisfied and asked for a refund. They said that they're waiting for the company to send me the return label. I'm still waiting but I don't expect to hear back from them and get the refunds. Bad business practice and false advertisement.
