I wish I'd checked the reviews before I ordered!

I just received two birdfeeders, ordered from Vernier.

These feeders look nothing like the advertised feeder. They are cheap crap and obviously made in China.
Photo on left is from Vernier website, photo on right is actual (crappy) birdfeeder as delivered. The actual feeder is half the size of the advertised feeder and very poor quality.

Vernier's advertising is deliberately deceptive.

Their salespeople deflect any enquiries about product origin. They also state that the products 'if not available from their US warehouse, are shipped from an overseas warehouse"...complete and utter BS!

Vernier's 'phone number is an answering service and if anyone answers, they are rude and unhelpful.

I was fortunate...my credit card company gave me a full permanent refund.

I made an order and was told it would ship within 3 days. Then it changed to 5-8 days to ship. A week had passed, and the order was not shipped yet. Then I find out the item was NOT in stock after all. They said now the order would have to come out of China with no expected arrival time. I told Venier to cancel the order, but Christy a rep said she could not as it was now out of their hands. Who knows if this order will ever come. I was going to check the box below that says let Vernier know about your situation but no sense in that they know very well my dismay.

We ordered a black 9x24 tarp for our boat and received a 3X 9 ft tarp in beige for the same price as the large tarp and they not offer to send the correct order, they only offered 50% refund and keep the wrong product or return the product for a $15 fee. Never offered to fix the problem. Scammers

I purchased 3 ultrasonic devices to deter rabbits in my garden. I researched these items and was sent to vernier by a legitimate website, unfortunately I can't recall which one. It took a long time to receive these and I began to suspect this was a scam. I called and requested a refund and the items arrived the next day. The cost to return was not worth it. They acted like it was made in the USA but they shipped from China. I kept them, they don't work. A couple of weeks later a $29.99 charge showed up on my account. They signed me up for a shopping subscription. I called and had it refunded and canceled. 2 days later I received a call from fraud department at my bank. Several fraudulent charges were trying to clear my bank. Fortunately the bank declined them. I had to cancel my cc and have another issued. This was the only purchase I made and the ONLY way my card could have been compromised. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

This place is scam don't waist your money these crooks won't answer your phone and I could never get a valid tracking number

Every negative review is 100% true! This company is a scam! DO NOT ORDER from them. Bought a "portable air conditioner" from them...what you find out when it arrives is that it is a humidifier with two ice packs--a joke! Next, I try to return it and they give you the run around: kept waiting for the email with return instructions that "would come in 24 to 48 hours." Surprise! It never came. When I called back annoyed, guy on cell phone with bad connection tried to gaslight me by making himself the victim of my "bad attitude." After talking over me, repeating the same script over and over, he hung up on me. These people are criminals...do NOT do business with them!

I'd like to be giving a review of the product I ordered, but almost 2 weeks later, I have still not received it. Immediately after placing the order, I received an email indicating that I should receive my order in 5-8 business days - that was 10 business days ago.

A couple days later, I received a tracking number. That didn't even show results for several days to follow. I hope the product I ordered is OK because I hate to think what the return process might be. With my luck, they'll tell me I missed the window to return the product because I hadn't even received it before the window closed.

I will not be purchasing anything else from them.

They refuse to refund me for products that were never used. They said they wouldn't accept returns because the shipping would be too much instead offered me a 30% refund. I paid over $300 for these two items. They try to negotiate your refund with you which is absurd and basically take your money. I never write reviews but I wanted to make sure nobody else goes through this.

They collect peoples credit card information while selling off of fraudulent ads. Beware this company is completely white collar crime!

I would advise you do not purchase from this company. You can get the same product from Amazon. We received our first portable a/c unit in the beginning of May. The unit would not even turn on. So we requested a new one. This unit also did not work. I have made 4 phone calls to initiate the return process. All 4 times I have been told in 48 hours I will receive information on how to send back the units. I just made my 5th call in three weeks trying to get this issue resolved. The representative informed me today there is no record of my previous calls. Every representative I have called has been rude and unprofessional. Also pay attention to the fine print. This company will automatically sign you up for a "free membership" upon your purchase and then conveniently charge you 29.99 for the "free" membership. I ordered 3 solar animal repellant devices on April 11. I received an tracking email that said the product had been delivered on April 21. It had never been delivered. I called and emailed repeatedly and the issue was never resolved. I was told supervisors would call me back, never happened. Also told I would get an email with updated information -- just kept being sent the same tracking email with the April 21 date. Just a completely terrible customer experience. This morning I was told I would be getting a refund -- we'll see if that ever happens. Avoid this company at all costs. I'd give it less than 1 star if that was an option

Buy it! It's beautiful, well made and a lot of bang for your buck. I gifted my mom and mother law each one and they couldn't believe they were from Vernier! I just love it, looks so nice on the door. I wanted like a wildflower look and the peonies make it look so pretty. But it guys! I bought 2 as I have double doors. The price was very reasonable. Beautiful wreaths!

Ordered American made heated jacket for $60 ( the ones made in China were a lot cheaper but l wanted a quality item)
3 weeks later it arrived, from China made in China, l contacted the company and they offered me a 50% discount or l could return it with a 25% restocking fee, even with the discount it would have been cheaper to buy one off eBay
Was checking me Discover card and noticed a random $29.99 charge from them when nothing was ordered, also a $29.99 charge from a company called retailcartshop.com which l know nothing about

Came very well packed and in perfect condition. It seems like it's a lot of pieces, but it makes sense when you unwrap it. It was easy enough to put together. I needed a second person to pull and attach the back curved bar. The hex-tool they enclose is great! I was definitely angry when it arrived because the color was why I chose this, and it's darker than the photo, but it's comfortable, soft, and has middle-back support for anyone who wants that. It's also good for high adjustment. I'm 5'8" and the lowest height adjustment is correct for me. I ordered wheels for wood floors, and I'm happy overall.

Very comfortable seat. Definitely a cream color. Wish the arm rest could adjust to be more narrow, but I am slim, so it is a bit wide for me. Other than that, I am very comfortable throughout my work day

Always skeptical about the quality of wreaths, however this one did NOT disappoint. It was better than store purchased for sure! It was bigger than I expected as well, and it's beautiful! One of the better wreath purchases on Vernier Beautiful, colorful wreath to brighten up my front door! This is beautiful! I just didn't work for my space!

I ordered a heated jacket, "about" a month later I called cuz I still hadn't received it. I had to call several times, the phone rang about s hundred times. Sounded like an older. He was incredible rude and impatient! I was trying explain my situation. Told me just to get to what I needed. He said he's look into snd call me back same day. Never heard back. Then a few days later I got a jacket—-no power bank/block! So I'm assuming they come with the jacket? Now what? I will not call and try to order from them. I am so mad. Do not order from this company!

They charged me for my item, then sent a series of sketchy emails with a tracking number that didn't track anything. Then suddenly I had fraudulent charges on my debit card.

Do not buy from this company. If you get a broken item they do not care in refunding your money. This was my first order and item was damaged and it has been over a month a still have not received my money back.
