This is my first time using their website http://www.viewvegas.com to make reservations at Terrible's Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for 9/28/12 - 9/30/12 and when viewing the total cost of $223 I was shocked cause there are hidden fees. It explains that the 12% sales tax isn't included but no where does it state there are additional booking fees. Before agreeing to the total charge the total said $189.00 without 12% sales tax. After I agreed to the total charge and submitted my Mastercard the total went from $189 without the 12% sales tax to $223. That was an extra $41! I understand there will be sales tax which was $21 but where did the extra $20 come from? I asked to cancel and refund the charges but was told by Tammy the CS rep it will take 30 days and they can't get it to me sooner. I asked to speak to the supervisor Randy, the only answer I could get from him was that this is how the industry does it now. However when I checked the Terrible's hotel & Casino's direct website to see what they charge it was $20 less! They provided me a $30 dinner card for discounts to restaurants for my troubles but that is not sufficient. The website should show all fees in total before a credit card is charged so you know what you are paying for not after AND if a customer complains and wants their money back immediately it should be given back that day. I can't afford to wait a month. The reason I couldn't cancel and wait for the refund is that I had already planned a to go to Vegas that weekend for my birthday as I explained to Randy the manager and I couldn't afford another $200 to reserve another room because they couldn't give me my money back in time. Refund policies are not initially presented during time of reservation so I do not agree that all customers are aware of their 30 day policy, I didn't know that just like I didn't know about the additional fees until it was too late. Had I had additional funds to make another reservation YES I would have proceeded with the refund process. The main issue of this complaint is how they are offering discounted hotels but are not publicizing additional fees. You provide a clause regarding your sales tax, you provide a clause for resort fees but you do not provide a clause regarding any additional fees beyond that. That So when the total reads total price that is what you expect... total price not $20 - $40 more! The initial justification I received from your customer service rep Tammy and manager Randy is that it is a new site and we are testing it out... that's nonsense and then I'm told that all travel agents are doing this now and we are trying to stay with the competition again this is nonsense. You need to rethink your online process. I used this website to save $ and I ended up spending more.
