Thinking about how to fill out official documents is one of the things that I don't like. Giving a chance to this company for it was a great decision. They double checked my online application to be sure that everything was precise and with no mistakes. Service completely recommended
I paid $68 in December 2022. Said I would receive by May 5,2023. Checked on it periodically- always in progress. In April the record/order number stated "no longer valid@. Emailed numerous times. No response. Attempted to call many times. Impossible to get through. This is a scam.
Don's fall for this scam! They are charging you for a document/application form that is free to obtain from a government entity. If you need to for example get a copy of your birth certificate and you were born in Texas go to this website...
https://dshs.texas.gov/vs/
A legit copy of your birth certificate from the state should cost $22. You need valid ID to get it.
I am in serious need of getting my refund it took me a long time to get the money saved uo to order my sons birth certificate to find out this web sit actually took my money and wasnt sending my son birth certificate he is 5 with speical needs and was suppose to start school weeks ago i just need my money back so i can get his birth certificate. Anyone can help
This page is huge rubbish, it's a huge monopoly, they never answer call or email questions. This is just a scam website. I did everything they said and nothing happened. Coronavirus helped them to get just a big monopoly. Stay away from them.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use this website. They are scam.

Everything is a scam. Triple check everything you do and then do more research. I paid $47 to get my birth certificate. I have no way to verify my order now vitalcheck.com said to pay $80 for a fast order.
After paying $47.00, I received a message the next day to check my email and spam, then follow the directions. I sent them a message back saying I didn't get an email and please resend. No response. I called the # the message came from, constant busy signal. It's been 3 weeks now, and still no contact. I've been scammed
Is a sham site which fools you into paying for the transaction before telling you that all it does is sent you a filled form which you'll have to get notarized and sent to the govt office along with fee. Yes the entire money you paid online to them was not the govt fee. STAY AWAY
I was in desperate need of a Birth Certificate. I signed up for one from Vital Records and paid an outrageous amount for it to be expedited and Overnighted to me.
A week later, I gave up on them and dealt directly with my home town Clerk and Recorders office. $8 and two days later, I had their Certified Certificate in hand!
It has been over three weeks and I finally received a packet from Vital Records in my mailbox. It was NOT a birth certificate, but an application I was to submit to them along with another $12.
Meanwhile I disputed the original amount paid at the bank and then got a letter from an attorney (or at least it looked like a letter from an attorney) saying he was going to request the money from the bank - even though he had no evidence it had ever been sent.
I HONESTLY believe this was a scam to steal money.
They are lucky I don't live just down the street from them!
BE SAFE... don't deal with these thieves.
Tip for consumers:
I honestly believe this is a scam to cheat people out of money.

This place took my money and ran I asked for a my complete refund and they don't want to give me anything back and they haven't provided anything for me. Waste of time and money place is awful this place shouldn't be able to be open for business.
I thought this was the official site to obtain a birth certificate. IT IS NOT! They charge $40 to send a form that you have to notarize then pay the state for the actual certificate.
The form is freely available online.
I will be contesting the charges and reporting them to the BBB as a scam agency.
No value added. In my case, I entered my data into VRC's interface and paid the $47 fee. VRC emailed me the official pdf form with my data transferred to it (with errors) along with the official instructions on how to mail it in and pay the fee to the State agency. Do not confuse this outfit with those who actually handle your business with the State agency. Or better yet, go to the State agency's website to conduct your business online. (I wish I had.) Most of their sites are actually pretty good. Don't get suckered by the Ads on the top of your google search that proffer "services" like this. No phone number. The service desk will reply to your emails, but with nothing of substance.
Tip for consumers:
Save your money. Work directly with the agency who issues the document (its not that hard to find), or with a service that handles the entire transaction with the document issuing office. What these guys do isn't worth your time, much less your money,

None. Their software completed my official application incorrectly and it got past their supposed 'review'.
Hi I recently used Vital Records Certificates thinking it was the actual part of the cities records. When I realized the mistake, I emailed the company and they told me I would be refunded and in a day, the funds were put back into my account.
I do not understand why it takes so long to get a birth certificate. The town I grew up in a person just goes to the health department and with in 15 minutes they have a birth certificate. Unfortunately I was born in another state and had to go thru VitalCheck to get it. 125 business days from the date I ordered it... They told me I should have by Feb 13th 2023. But when I call I am told March 2nd... this is bull crap.

I thought I was on the VitalChek website to obtain my birth certificate. I paid $47 on 10/07 approx. 5pm CST & was told I would get an email to confirm my purchase. I never received the email after my purchase. I was thinking maybe it's because it's after working hours & I should get it tomorrow. I check my email 10/08 & still no email. They have no contact number. I sent a request for a refund but each time I submitted the request, I got an email back saying my request couldn't be submitted. I will file a dispute with my bank to try to get a refund back. I don't have $47 to waste. With COVID going on, funds are limited & I needed this birth certificate for a job. Now I have to find a way to get my $47 back so I can purchase my real birth certificate.
Tip for consumers:
ALWAYS START WITH YOUR COUNTY’S WEBSITE TO OBTAIN BIRTH CERTIFICATE, DO NOT USE RAMDOM SITES.

I will have to call my county court house to obtain my birth certificate.
I ordered my birth certificate and had my document filled out in front of a notary. Vital chek said that my document with the notary is incorrect (which all it is is signatures so that's impossible). They charged $25 extra WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I've called over 9 phone numbers that claim to be VitalChek. There is NO real phone number to get a refund or ask what else they need on ducuments. Save yourself the time and money and don't go through VitalChek.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use it!!! They keep your money and don’t send you your documents

None because they keep the money and don’t send anything
This is a scam site - avoid at all costs. They take your $47, provide nothing of value, and don't send you any kind of follow-up or email. There's no communicating with this company.
It has been 9 working days since I made my request. I have emailed the company several times. I can not get a response and I am guessing they will keep my $47. There is not a phone number to call for help either.
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE

Sent my order in on April 4th, 2020 and as of 9/11/20 I have not received a thing! I have emailed them more than once and received NO RESPONSE, NOTHING! They have not refunded me my $47.00 either! DO NOT USE THEM. If you are unable to go to the bureau you need, use VitalCheck. This site is a waste of your time and money!
Ordered my birth certificate months ago and nothing. Chatted with a Reeya and she was a waste of time. These ppl are scammers. Avoid them at all costs.

Don’t ever use this site.

Never gave me my purchase price until I printed out the receipt! I would never had paid $47.00 for this and then they said they would give me a 15% discount, never got that either. No phone number to call and complain! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
My wife passed away, and the insurance company claimed her death certificate. I was having a tough time. Vital Records' team was respectful and resourceful. Their support was much appreciated.
I can't believe I fell for this and didn't research/check into it more thoroughly before submitting the application and giving my credit card info! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! It's not the official site for submitting for a birth certificate. In fact, it takes MORE time to fill out THEIR form, then you STILL have to submit it on your own. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!
I paid $42.00 for them to tell me how to apply for the Pa birth certificate. It's a pure rip off! Be Aware! BBB should crack down on these people. Always someone looking into your wallet.
I ordered a Birth Certificate and they immediately charged my card $47 but have NEVER contacted me as it says they would! I have tried 5 times to " contact" them via email on their website and it always comes back " undeliverable"! So they gave my money and all my private info and have done nothing snd it is impossible to contact them! SCAM!' DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had to change my credit card number and everything!
When I first started using the site for the needed certification, I noted it was run by LexisNexis which is one of the databases we use in collecting information for developing contacts at my job and tracking people. This data can easily be obtained by anyone. But, I overlooked my concerns because Vital Records initially doesn't ask anything personal. It's once they obtain and supposedly processed my payment and all should have been completed that the site demanded my social security number, more personal information, and copies of my identification to be uploaded. There's no turning back at this point. Then the wait time turned from being the quickest method of 10 days to deferring to the health departments' timing of 20 days or longer. So, it does feel like a scam, because they are basically collecting your imperative information and you still require the direct services of the state department. So you gave your important data to strangers and actually paid for it. They will in turn also get paid by the companies that buy data and use their database services. It's best to just wait for the state department and skip this third-party "service".
DO NOT USE THIS GROUP_ SCAM ALERT. THERE HAS BEEN NO FOLLOW UP> I HAVE CONTACTED CREDIT CARD TO ENSURE NO OTHER CHARGES FOLLOW THE INITIAL ONE> TERRIBLE! WE MUST FIND THE PHONE NUMBER FOR THIS COMPANY
