My daughter purchased a Vornado UH100 humidifier. After a number of years of use it stopped working. She brought it to me and I disassembled the unit for a good cleaning. Afterward... no change. The on/off light was blinking twice and nothing more. Contacted Vornado. They checked to see if the unit was still under the 5 year warranty. It was. They needed the model number printed on the label adhered to the bottom of the base. I asked my wife to bring the base to me I gave him the number. Approved. My wife then dropped the unit and it smashed into pieces. I apologized to the service rep for wasting his time and said I would just buy a new one. He said don't bother. Sending a new unit regardless. Prompt, no hassle problem solver that left me, my wife, and my daughter relieved and delighted. Now that is what customer service looks like in a perfect world. Thank-you Vornado.
