Scam of a company - followed their directions to send back for a refund and they said it would take about 4 weeks. It has been over 6 weeks and they are ignoring my emails. I received something damaged - I feel that should have been refunded immediately.

I ordered a single top on April 2nd, and it was last tracked on April 8th. It is now April 25th and I have no idea where the package is and if I'll ever even receive it. The last tracking update says it was en route to the US, but I have no idea who to contact after that because verge girl doesn't give any details on what happens after it leaves Australia. They say on their website that if you don't receive your package it is not their problem. I'm super disappointed and want my money back because I really don't think i'll ever get my package.

Such cute stuff. I discovered this store a few months ago and I have checked it basically every day since. They have a ton of both basic and unique pieces so there is something for everyone!
Always love the clothes they post. Great range and styles. Even better now they have free shipping and returns in Aus, always a bummer sending things back if they don't fit when it costs money.

Do not fall for their poorly made over-priced products, youll have better luck with similar sites such as Princess Polly. I gave this site three goes at receiving an item that was half decent, mainly because they dont do refunds but the quality just seemed to deteriorate with every purchase. The third piece that arrived was the final straw as the garment was nothing like the image displayed on the site. It was made from discoloured fabric, lining that is completely shown through the fabric, and the general finish on it was poor - NOT WORTH $80! Initially they were very understanding, asking for photos of these issues and agreeing to examining the product once I returned it. Once they received it, the seemingly to have forgotten that I had complained about the garment, issuing me a credit. Once i had to update the new staff member on the situation, I was told "the garment matches the image online therefore, not receiving a refund I have advised them that I'm taking this up with Consumer Protection and the Ombudsman in my state. You know what they say have a good experience with a store and tell two people about it, have a bad experience and you tell 10 people about it...
Tip for consumers:
Search for the garment you want on other sites such as princess polly, the quality will be the same but at least you pay half as much, deal with better return policies and receive professional customer service!

Noticed one model looking abnormally skinny, making the product undesirable and projects a unpositive imagine towards the young girls which view this site?
Please just visit Princess Polly for exactly the same products for half of the price. Not only are their products poor but their customer service practices are highly unethical and dishonest.
Sending you clearly faulty products, then ask you to fix their poor quality clothes yourselves i. E the initial response 'please just cut away the thread that is hanging off in 3/4 separate places on the top'. Like we don't know these tops will then fall apart as soon as we wash them and not be worn again.
When this resolution was obviously refused they provided a returns label and asked to return this (but no mention of the fact they would then remove this cost from the refund). As I had already said on two occasions that I would not be paying extra to return a clearly faulty top to them.
The other top I bought originally which surprisingly wasn't falling apart on arrival. I have now washed once and it has completely lost its colour and the threading is also coming loose.
Please just don't waste your money here they are overcharging you for really poorly made products and then using very dishonest and non-transparent customer service tactics. I wish I'd have checked the reviews before ordering from here as seems to have many bad reviews across the board and I am not surprised.
Also please teach your customer services reps to stop just copying and pasting the same things about the returns policy. Returns policies shouldn't be used to cover your back on faulty items that you are sending out. Which looking at your reviews is happening quite often.

We are always happy to offer compensation for an item that is found to have manufacturing defect and will generally ask customers to send through a photo so our team can easily assess the issue.
Unfortunately, we are not always able to clearly identify a fault via the photographs that have been provided. Generally, when this happens we will provide a pre-paid shipping label so that the garment can be returned back to us and thoroughly inspected by our returns team.
If an item is found not to have a manufacturing defect once it has been received, it will be processed as per our returns policy.

I've loved Verge Girl from the beginning! Their clothing always runs true to size and looks exactly like the pictures. I could spend lots of hours and money on this Website hehe
This shop has nice stuff but unfortunately the "manager" today is absolutely horrible. When I asked questions about sizing and availability of items she snapped at me very rudely and abruptly, leaving me to feel uncomfortable and on the verge of tears, she is intimidating and a bully, I strongly advise AGAINST supporting their business. It is been a very long time since I've been to a store with such an UGLY NAST HORRIBLE storeperson. My feelings are hurt and I will make a point of discouraging EVERYONE I know from shopping at Verge at Adelaide St!

I had recently purchased a dress from Verge Girl in Brisbane to have it fall apart on me 10 days after purchasing this garment. One strap had snapped, the other strap almost snapped, all of the lining in the dress frayed and ruined. I have then attempted to return this dress for a refund, it has taken me four visits to the store and multiple phone calls and a lot of persistence just to have the dress exchanged. The customer service I have received in this time has been the worst I have ever encountered, the manager and team at this store have absolutely no customer service and are all out right rude. The manager refused to contact me directly and is more then happy to put her employees in the firing line of an unhappy customer.
If you ever leave the garment with this store, take photos of everything and obtain all proof you can. Do not throw your receipt away, and be prepared for a lot of time and effort if you ever choose to return anything to this store. I will never shop here again. By far the most horrible retail experience I have ever encountered.
