Walmart's reputation is mixed, with customers appreciating its wide product selection and competitive pricing, which enhance accessibility and affordability. However, significant concerns arise regarding delivery reliability, order accuracy, and customer service quality. Many reviews highlight frustrations with unfulfilled orders, inadequate support during issues, and negative interactions with staff. While some customers express loyalty and satisfaction with the overall shopping experience, others report feeling undervalued and dissatisfied, suggesting a need for improvements in communication, order management, and customer support to enhance overall service and restore confidence among shoppers.

No help in the stores or pleasant help anyway. Order online and Didn't receive a text and email until the day my order was to be delivered saying it was delayed. Tried to cancel it and couldn't log in even with the site sent in the text. Called the number provided and spoke with a gifmar who I could barely understand and who's child was screaming in the background. He said he requested to cancel the order but could not provide me with a confirmation email or text saying this. Messages the email provide and got an automated system for responses that said the order couldn't be cancelled because it probably was shipped.
Sam Walton is probably rolling in his grave over the direction his company has gone!
Did not Says the trouth, bad quality there a defiance between the photo and the fact. Take to much time to unswe the phone whin I called. Transparent me to more than 3 time to anther defrants places to see the and fix the broplem.
I order groceries for my elderly mom and stepfather. On 7/28 "Gabrial" (Doordash) did not call or text before delivering the order to her house. My mother called me right away and told me someone else's food was on her porch. I called Walmart. The phone rang a long time before got an answer. I told the employee what happened. He said to give away, donate or use the items that were delivered. They were unable to exchange them due to covid. I would not be billed for them. He took down the order number. I order the same items to be delivered 7/30. That order was correctly delivered. I was billed for both orders! I tried again to call Walmart but could not get through. I disputed with my credit card company. Some dishonest employee at Walmart lied and told the credit card company that the order was delivered and in good condition (?!) so the credit card company rebilled me the disputed amount! My mother is now sending them a letter. This is a lot of work and aggravation. The Walmart employee who lied on the credit card dispute (They didn't even have to sign it!) needs to be fired. I have tried reaching to higher Walmart employees. They said they are not going to correct it because I got the credit card company involved. This Walmart is in Western Hills in Cincinnati Ohio.
Simple everyday items are very difficult to order for delivery (not shipping). I do not need an entire case of taco sauce yet can only get one bottle through shipping, I can only get shaving items with shipping- not delivery. The site doesn't allow delivery for many of the items I've searched now unless I want cases, only shipping which is several days out. They've tried to make the new format easier to buy everything for delivery and shipping in one place but they've made it more frustrating and less convenient, and little ability to get a single item delivered. If they don't fix these delivery and ordering problems I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Once again I was very dissatisfied with Springfield Walmart's service. There are never enough employees to waite on customers because everything is locked up. Batteries, razors, socks, toys, almost everything is locked up and it's not easy to find an employee that has the key to what you need.
I just tried using a ONN 7" tablet from Walmart to shop online and when I tried buying men's boxers all I saw was the products but no sizes at all. Just said add to cart. Are we suppose to buy them sight unseen and hope Walmart knows our sizes?
Walmart.com customer service "sucks". Walmart is trying to be Ebay or Amazon - but - they do not support the customer when orders are not shipped or not complete. They apparently keep loser vendors as apart of the team - and - don't care how bad they are to Walmart.com customers
Zero stars because the Manager has ZERO Customer service skills. She cares only about herself. The employees at the check out lanes have zero care for customers.
I don't look 18 by any stretch of anyone's imagination. I don't look younger than 40...! I literally stood in line 30 minutes waiting on one customer ahead of me and the slllooowww cashier. I needed one item and was refused service for lack of ID. I was told, "It's the law".
B. S. Woman! Wauseon Ohio Walmart's rules are not LAW! Also Walmart makes it feel like their rules are law because their employees can't make sound judgment on anyone's age. They can't sell cigarettes to anyone who looks 40 and younger?! Idiots! And the people they employ to stand at the door and demand people enter through only one door. Multiple times I was forced to exit Walmart in Wauseon Ohio because in a rush I entered what they considered to be the wrong door. I was bombarded by people, sent back out the door and told that if I wanted to enter I had to go in the entrance.
They consider everyone thieves checking receipts even after standing at the checkout lane WATCHING to make sure everything is scanned.
Their vehicle lube department is a dog and pony show. They made me wait 2 hours for my tire rotation because they oops forgot to call me to tell me it was finished…
It's the closest store around Wauseon, Ohio, but shop anywhere other than here. Wauseon needs more mom and pop stores. I would gladly support. But Walmart is Evil.
They combined the local store and the online shipping on the website. If you want to check inventory at the local store, you have to choose a filter in a drop down menu for every single search, what a mess now. For some reason I randomly get a verify your identity, press and hold a button almost each time I visit which never happened before. The old app and website was much simpler having the online shipping and the local store items separate, so much user friendlier than the new website. What a waste of time trying to find anything at the local store using this new website. New website is a big step backwards.
I ordered 3 items to be shipped and to arrive on Friday and Monday, but later in the day receive email that the items will be delivered today (Wednesday) on my doorstep. They do not ring bell, but only leave one item (loose and unpackaged), but receive email that all three items were delivered. I opened the door probably a minute after the driver left and their photo of the delivery was only of one item. Spend half hour on hold only to be told that there is nothing they can do today and I will have to call back tomorrow. If I can't control whether an item is going to be just left on my doorstep unboxed with very little warning on a different day, then I don't want to order from Walmart.com ever again. Also, I could see a photo of the driver and where his car was, but it didn't help me or customer care at all. I should have stood outside for the extra 20 minutes it took for the driver to arrive (compared to the estimate) and checked to make sure he delivered everything. Buyer beware!
I was at Walmart in Redlands CA customer service returning a $160 vacuum I purchased with my debit card which was stolen four days prior to this incident and I kindly told Betty the sales person my situation and she them told me my money would go to my debit card or a Walmart gift card I spacifically told her a Walmart gift card and then she took it upon herself to send it back to a debit card that is no longer active which is from a bank account that is no longer open that I don't have identification to prove who I am to even begin to get my money back so I am pretty much screwed for my money I asked to speak to management and then there boss as well and they all pretty much have told me too bad it way sent to my debit card which is no longer active or able to receive cash
Well built swing. Not too hard to put together although a helper would be good. Surprised my wife with it made a few good points. Walmart order #*******194
Walmart is in the lead on selling the best merchandise and services from A-Z! From your home essentials, personal care, health, vehicle, food, clothing, pets and the whole family, they are number one.
Site is much improved, but there are far too many groceries available in the store that are not available in grocery pickup and delivery.
Site is complicated and loops you around a lot. You should simply be able to click your store for your order instead of checking availability for each item. Some items say not available for pickup when they actually are if you go another route.
I tried to order a product that was advertise reduced. I was charged the regular price instead, so i texted their help center to explain what happened. They told me to send a photo of the item that was online. Even when i sent proof the item was reduced, walmart still didnot want to honor the reduce price. The people at the customer help center were pleasant and answered right away. I was disappounted because i had proof. I willnot be ordering from them online again.
I placed an order on Walmart.com and received tracking info and a delivery date. The delivery is pass due by 3 days now. Tracking info is not correct as it says delivery by end of day. Walmart help says delivery by end of next day. I have missed the gift that I was going to give at a party. I will never order again from Walmart. If I cannot get it at the store I want buy it. Would not recommend buying from Walmart.com.
It's funny how you can order something on walmart.com and if it's in the store you get it really quick. You order groceries to be delivered and you can't get any service. That doesn't make sense. If you can deliver orders from walmart.com so fast, why can't you on grocery orders. Walmart is pathetic!
Don't count on getting food delivery from Walmart. We have and paid for the service. I understand if there is a problem delivering the food, but to lie that a driver has it, and it's on the way! The first time they didn't show, they offered 15 dollars off my next food order. They encouraged me to do the next day. The same thing. Supposedly my food was with a driver over 5 hours. When I asked for a supervisor, they called my husband's phone. They offered 5 dollars off the second time. I am expecting Amazon fresh today. All Walmart needed to do is be honest.
Everything Amazon does right, Walmart.com does wrong. The last three orders I have made have been messed up. Ordered one product and received a similar, but different, product with a value equal to about 50% of the originally ordered item (but was charged the full price of the original order). Another order was lost "between [Walmart's] facility and the shipper". When that happens, good luck. When you try to track the order, all you get is "Your order has been delayed. Try again later." That'll go on for weeks unless you cancel the order, which is, in itself, a chore on Walmart.com. Most of us are used to the quick and efficient ordering and shipping process that Amazon Prime provides (not perfectly, of course, but pretty consistently) so Walmart's inability to process a simple order on a regular basis really stands out. Personally, I only use Walmart.com as a last resort when I cannot find a particular product on another, more reliable, site. It is simply not worth the hassle, even in those rare instances when I may have to pay a little more to avoid having to deal with Walmart.com.
