Ridiculous

I wanted to write a check. I filled it out and they told me they couldn't take my check and gave me a print out of what to do. So I had to call the corporate office and talk to them. They said that a woman with my name in Illinois had written a bad check. Mind you the bank was different the address and state was different the check routing numbers were different. So I had to drive 20 miles physically go in the store call the corporate office again have them talk to the service center and show my ID. After all that I could write checks again. I didn't get an apology for the embarrassment, the inconvenience or the sheer aggravation. I haven't shopped in a Walmart since. I order online but I won't go in their store.

Watch Out

I recently started placing orders at walmart.com and everything was great the first two times I made my orders but the third order I placed I got charged twice for one order and when I contacted them about this I got no help.They kept having me call different places and none of them helped me and they never received my money back.So I no longer make orders online.

Walmart has failed in a big way in customer resolution.

About a month ago, I placed an online order like I normally do. The order was placed and immediately canceled for the "return violation" reason. I didn't understand what that meant so I contacted Walmart. The Walmart representative assured me that she will fixed my account so I can place my order after 24 hours. I followed her instruction but my order was canceled once again.

I called Walmart again the 2nd time. The representative said she will escalate the issue to the review team so I should be able to order after 24 hours. You guess it, my order was canceled again for the 3rd time.

Fast forward 5 weeks later, now it's my 5th time contacting Walmart and I still can't place my online order. It's a huge disappointment for a company like Walmart to fail in solving such a trivial issue.

Thieves and charlatans

Thieves and charlatans! Ordered a computer for 1k - never arrived. Put a blame on me and closed the case. When I called immediately upon "delivery" at 2 pm asking where it is, Walmart said it was signed for. When asked to be provided the proof of signature, they told me that it's against their policy and hung up on me. In the morning I was provided with a bogus document, a fake signature on it and time of delivery 8 pm, while the call was made at to 2 pm that day reporting the loss. No help, no sympathy, no understanding, no apologies. A bunch of liars and thieves.

If you purchase something from Walmart I'll use my computer as an example they'll charge you the amount of the computer on the day of the purchase which is expected. Then a day or two later they'll put another hold on your account for the same amount so you'll get charged twice. You'll get one of them back but it ties your account up for a couple of days so if the computer is 400 you're going to be charged $800 and then you'll get 400 back. I've never heard of such a messed up system it's so stupid I'll never order anything from online Walmart again. I'm just going to order from people that charge you once

I used to shop Walmart On-line first. Now, we plan to never again shop Walmart on-line. We did not realize Walmart was Shipping Returns from KY until we received factory products without any skin-packaging.

Addition to early review of Walmart online

Ok 2 days after the online order I placed and got canceled debacle, I get a "Back in stock" email and as soon as I recieved it I clicked on the shop now tab and nope still out of stock. 4hours later I get another email asking me if I'm still working on my project and the item I still in my cart. I open it up still out of stock. Then 2 hours later I get an ad for that item at walmart on my Facebook. Seems like walmart just harassing me

Every single week, prices are raised throughout the store. We check ourselves out, while employees are paid to stand around and accuse us of stealing at the door. We continue to pay astronomical prices that continue to skyrocket with no end in site. Walmart knows we need to eat, and No One is stopping their price hikes! Let's boycott Walmart!

I am writing this review in regards to the outstanding, professional, and welcoming treatment from one of the Walmart pharmacy employees who I know to be Grace!
I would like to think that I am a great judge of character, and with that being said, as I'm standing in line, waiting for my order to be filled I notice short, structured, Latin descent, young lady greeting each customer as day come toward the cash register, myself included. With a smile and a wave, she makes my experience at Walmart pleasurable. Furthermore, once hearing my name she speaks up from behind the counter of the cash register, and immediately tells me how long my prescription will take.
I would like to take this time to add that there are many biases and personal opinions in regards to the prescriptions that I am filling. I have gone through two other pharmacies due to bias, attitudes and sideways comments about the disorder in which I need medication to treat. This is the first time that I have never felt that way while, a pharmacy personnel has fulfilled my prescription. Thank you Walmart thank you for hiring people that understand.
This new style of respect that is shown by your employees, is something to be modeled after Grace. If possible could the Walmart administration offer her my appreciation and thank you for great job well done.

Made a purchase for a participant, the participant removed my card from her account the order got cancelled. I saved the card back on her account and reordered the items. The purchase got cancelled a second time. I have been trying to reach the online customer service to let them know that there has been no fraud, after 30 minutes waiting the call was disconnected. Amazing service!

The package arrived intact. Notice I said THE package not MY package.The pic of the house on text the delivery driver provided where he left the package was not my house, so now it's THEIR package.Thank God I noticed the front of the home and where it was. I had to walk there and it was light out still so I could read the street signs and addresses just fine. So I cannot understand the delivery issue. You have google maps for Pete's sake so how in God's name can you be lost? Their website says to make sure Google maps has the dot or whatever over your home's location, it was correct, I checked. Walmart needs to send their employees back to kindergarten so they can have a refresher course on reading. When I got there I couldn't find the package.They had a standing mailbox with a slot under it and there was a Walmart bag, an actually grocery bag from their store and in it was the item I ordered. Is that how Walmart delivers their items, in unsecured bags from the store that anyone can reach in and take the item with ease? Now I had to get into their yard through a fence that was like Fort Knox, because they only have a side entrance. They had a big dog too, he came to the door with the owner, just lovely, I didn't think of that til now, thank heavens he wasn't in the yard. Risking my safety for a package is going above and beyond what I signed up for. I had to disturb their evening and explain what happened in case they or a neighbor saw me take the item from their mailbox, you never know, the world is weird. Now I am really concerned. I have ordered many items that have yet to be delivered, one is coming in the dark... that... should be interesting. If the driver couldn't find my home in the light, here we go again, except now he'll be taking a photo in the dark of some home that won't be mine that I won't be able to see. I had to be a detective and go on a scavenger hunt to find my own package, not fair Walmart, not fair. Where is my portion of the $17 an hour the delivery drivers get for my time and effort retrieving my own package? You have enough $$$$$ to afford the expertise to train your employee's more efficiently. Please quit being so greedy and invest some of that $ you own into customer service, then you'll be improving our lives and making them a little easier. Isn't THAT what the convenience and ease of ordering items online at Walmart is all about? Or...is it just about your profit's? I could've shopped anywhere, Amazon, Target, etc.but I chose YOU, that should matter, at least I'd hope it would. DO better...BE better...Please.

Everyone should be aware that Walmart allows 3rd party vendors to sell on their websites, and returning those items is a giant pain! I ordered several shelves in one order. They arrived at all different times. I setup one shelf and it was pure junk. I requested a return thru the app, but they would only pickup a couple of the shelves, others had to be returned at the store. Since the labeling was different on each shelf I could not tell which ones were which. So I brought them all to the store for them to sort out. It took three very confused workers to tell me I'd have to contact the 3rd party sellers…aka not Walmart. Each shelf came from a different 3rd party vendor. Upset I call the customer service number while still waiting at Walmart. 30 minutes on hold for her to tell me I have to take them back home and mail them to each 3rd party vendor and that it's my responsibility to contact them. Oh and the 3rd party vendors are in China, so basically they're drop shipping and refusing to take accountability for it.

My review is based on the last number of years. They have steadily dropped In their quality of customer service, prices, availability, delivery, employee morale, website functionality, and reputation. What gives, Walmart? It is so sad when a company makes all the cuts in the wrong areas to save a buck and ends up cutting their own throat. A once reputable company, Walmart is just a mess now, as well as being the butt of jokes on YouTube and social media. I am so fed up. So so fed up. I don't know if they're ever going to pick themselves up again, but it's time for me to move on.

Delivery service is awful!

I used to use a car delivery service for delivery items from walmart and switched because walmart blamed the mistakes on car delivery service. Well now I realize it was walmarts issue.

Last weekend I ordered my groceries and realized I forgot some items and it was too late to add to the order so I went to walmart to get them. While there I got a couple notices that 3 items were out of stock. So I figured I would go see. And wouldn't you know it all 3 Items were in stock right where they normally are. I was frustrated but gave the delivery person the benefit of the doubt that they could be new and couldn't find these items.

However, today I ordered 7 items in total. Not a hard order. But apparently it was. I get a notification that the order delivered and I looked at picture and knew immediately it was missing an item. A big item! A 12 pack of paper towels. So I try to call walmart and after 3 calls, 2 transfers, 1 hangup and a "whats the big deal its just 1 item"...finally got someone who could help.
I explained what was missing, but the representative couldnt understand how I knew the paper towels werent there by the picture. So I explained I went right outside to get them and it wasnt there, just like the picture.

After getting over the language barrier I was finally able to get a refund for my $14.00 for my "whats the big deal" missing item.

Its frustrating enough to try to call multiple numbers and endure transfers that get you nowhere, but when the final straw is that the person I am calling doesn't understand English, it gets very frustrating.

So not sure if its a training issue, or what but I hope they fix it. I just had hip surgery and planned on help to not carry groceries up 3 flights of stairs.

Once a month we purchase a box of Walmart Great Value buttery popcorn (24 per box). This is the best popcorn ever except 4 bags out of the box do not pop properly, very disappointing.

This store is atrocious because Walmart has gone from awful to the greediest most heinous corporation ever. They treat ALL of their customers like shoplifters; from the excess of cameras to the hovering employees at self-checkout. I'm sorry, but if the employees are literally going to stand right behind me the whole time they may as well go back to their jobs as cashiers. If Walmart is so INSANELY worried about theft then they need to get rid of self-checkout and bring back cashiers. Period, full stop. This company is the worst and the one in Shawnee has the MOST hovering employees on the planet. Disgraceful.
