I had a debit card voided transaction, I called both places,my Walmart card said it would be back on my card by the 22 and nothing. I called back only to be transferred to another department asking for all this personal information, please go with a local bank seeing all these call centers are not in the United States, Walmart should be ashamed of themselves
They refuse to help push through a transaction so I can get a pre authorization charge off waiting now 3 days for $50 that has just disappeared and they are useless. I Called 3 times waited for longer 30 min then to get an answer and still didn't help like is this company is completely useless wish I could have a job tha paid me for doing absolutely nothing!
So I never received my stimulus check from a year ago and my letter states that it was directly sent to this bank but the bank knows nothing then I received a message saying I exceeded my limit this happened on Friday night almost 6 days ago and I am still not able to withdraw funds it never reset the limit so I called and after holding for 21 min the supervisor picks up and acts like he can't hear me then hangs up! I keep noticing a few dollars here and there not accounted for as well and again they know nothing. No local bank nothing it's like they are holding my funds not resetting the account so they can keep making money off of transactions terrible service
None of the customer service reps speak English well enough to understand them. Green Dot bank should not be allowed to represent itself as a bank. It is NOT a bank. They do not know how to handle simple issues such as a charge that was a mistake & voided by the merchant. They have charged me a $15 overdraft fee on a voided transaction? What kind of crap is that? I'm gonna get a Chime card & throw this Walmart card in the trash.
I should have NEVER gotten a Walmart Debit Card. I loaded some money onto it and later that day I wanted to purchase some water filters. The transaction was declined. I called, got transferred, disconnected after being on hold 12 minutes. Called back, same thing happened. Called back, it happened again! The 4th time I called back, had to explain the problem for the 4th time. I was put on hold, complete silence, no music. Fourteen minutes later the Rep tells me she has to escalate this to another team for approval and for me to try the transaction again in an hour! How in the world do they think they can just keep my money hostage? I'm going to get every penny off of that card and cut it into little pieces!
Walmart money card is a complete scam. I've lost thousands trying to deal with them. If someone steals your $ they'll say it was you. The customer service # doesn't work and if you can get through you'll be talking to people in India that don't care about helping you. Be smart and get a card from a bank. Don't say I didn't warn you!
I paid a bill of $292.68, have the conformation email from the company where it was approved. Realized my account had not been updated. Attempted to contact customer service (on day 4 now) asked to speak to a supervisor and was suppose to get a call back in 4hrs on 1/15 and here we are next day and no call back yet. If you want your money taken use them and you wont get it back.
Do not make any purchases online with this card or give this card number to anyone to make a payment unless you know the company you're dealing with and there legitimate. You are not protected against fraud with walmartmoneycard. Com they suck and will not help you you are on your own. They got one star from me and I would give him no stars if I had my choice. The worst bank ever. Customer service will lie to you, They don't like Americans so when you call its bad. I had problems with them and my card being on the dark web. They hold your funds, its a solid mess. I couldnt access my account for hrs 6/7/23. No access online or the app, and I couldnt get my pay.
Fraud asked to dispute a charge, mgr say info is incorrect, sent all documents was told 24 to 48hrs would be corrected after 3 weeks mgr tells me it may be 30 days. The company who charge is pending sent info letting them know they don't have anything pending. Mgr still saying 30 days it will fall off. Don't trust them they take your money then have you thinking it's you they're a scam.
It's been almost two weeks and I still can't access my money. I've called and called only to be transferred and put on hold for hours. When someone finally answers I can't understand a word they're saying. I have bills and utilities due and can't even pay them. My only option now is to file a lawsuit against both companies because this is not acceptable
Thirteen years ago this was a very decent product to choose from. I'm in the process of leaving then now. They will not assist me in finding $690 taken from my account. They send me on constant wild goose chases. The money was paid out over a month ago and I'm still locked out of my account.
Heed what you read here. I'm really trying to save you hours and hours of time trying to just get through to customer service.
Had a transaction go through on my account from another state. Called them to stop it instantly and they allowed it anyways. Spend 2 months trying to get my money back, including reports and signed letters they ask for. 2 months later they denied my dispute. So it takes Walmart 2 damn seconds to take my money and now they literally are thieves. If I steal from them I go to jail but they can literally steal with NO consequences. $#*! you walmart
Seemed like it was fine using it to pay things online for a while. Switched my direct deposit to it. They waited until I had a decent amount of money on it and blocked the account. Told me my ID was not real and closed my account with my money it. They give they full around and will give you no help in getting any of your money back. The absolute worst company to work with, terrible customer service and straight thieves. Save yourselves and go with chime they are fantastic!
I have had two separate accounts and both have been hacked and large amounts of money taken from me. Each dispute was handled totally different even tho they were exactly the same. They have ruined my credit because I can't pay bills and I continue to grow late payments daily. I have been misinformed and constantly lied to from supervisors and many departments all the way up to the corporate level. I have been with this company for over a decade and this is how they treat you! It's been 45 days and I still haven't got my funding back and my account was blocked and I can't get the funds that were left on the account. This is unreal
1800.00 dollars just disappears from my account and their only excuse is they are having technical issues.
I have no access to my funds and according to the 19 calls I made it was mentioned on several occasions that ALL their customers are having trouble.
So ur telling me that for 3 days your customers have had Absolutely no access to their cash!

I have over $10,500 on this card and can't access it or get it refunded to me. I have been a victim of identity theft! I have called and called and all I get is put on hold for hours. They closed my account, but are still taking out the monthly fee. Very unethical! I can't get any help, and don't know what else to do. I need my money back! Does anyone know how to handle this problem? They make you rate this company, but it should be minus star rating!
I ended up with greendot, Walmart money cards, how? Ok I used it they stole, we went to war monies, and I wasted so much time with protection on my phone breached anyway. Oct 2018 used card they stole 176.00 we went to war, called federal reserve All I got was 50. From them. Pls don't use greendot, they will steal, change your $#*! so u can't get into your account. Trust me! When I post reviews nothing ever fake or lies about it! Ppl need to speak up this country out of control with all these evil a** ppl.
Why when using cash for a deposit, why wasn't it available? I'm buying a German shepherd and your card made me look like a damn fool. Says right there on the package, "Use right after your deposit." I can see banks and such, but cash?!?!
Come on, wasted my day trying to get answers. Someone has to know what to do! I would also appreciate talking to a live person. Oh, the one that sold it to me didn't know anything. No help even at the store.

Like others I have tried green dot who passed the buck to Walmart.com who tried the same. I am still out of $500 but the Walmart store manager had taken my info and will be getting back to me. If that does not work I worked in Retail for 25+ years and have a corporate attorney as my friend. This has caused me much stress as I am disabled with many problems here at Thanksgiving 2020. Hopefully all will turn out okay but if not I will probably get 10x or more for this very stressful time and loss of holiday funds I bought it for Black Friday deals and Christmas gifts.
