I purchased 2 watches and the money has been taken from my bank account. I rang customer service a week later after receiving no email update. A very rude person who calls herself Matilda said the transaction failed, even though the money has been taken from my bank. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she would not put me through to one. This company is a scam. Save yourself the time and money and DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GANGSTERS

I ordered a watch over two months ago they needed to add extra links to the strap at no charge so we expected a slight delay, I STILL haven't received my watch and lots of to and froing of emails and promise of returning phone calls that never happen and they have simply taken my money but provided no product - amounts to theft as far as I'm concerned - AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I returned my watch when the numbers began to fall off.
It was six months out of warranty.
Watchshop said it was due to wear and tear'.
I said it was unfit for purpose clearly the hands falling off under the glass wasn't a result of wear and tear and asked them to repair it.
They refused, quoted me £18 to repair it, and a few days later upped the cost to £80? Never had a watch where the hands fall off and never dealt with such a joke of a company. Customer service? Forget it.
As for my request for the manufacures contact details, (Armani) Watchshop somehow couldn't/wouldn't provide any confirmation that they'd spoken to Armani or sent it back to Armani for repair, simply choosing to avoid all requests for information.

I ordered a watch from this company because they offer to adjust the metal bracelet for you before despatch. I did not want the hassle of finding somewhere locally to adjust it for me.
The watch was sent quickly but the bracelet had not been adjusted. The customer services department offered to pay £5 if I sent a receipt for having the watch adjusted. However, I wanted to return the watch at their cost and have them send the item I had ordered, i. E. a watch with the bracelet adjusted. They refused simply saying it was a free service and they accepted no responsibility for it not being done.
So don't be fooled like I was. Their website says:
"We adjust your watch bracelet for FREE. Metal bracelet adjustments normally mean a trip to the local jeweller but with our free watch bracelet adjustment you can wear your watch as soon as you receive it." However in my experience they don't bother fulfilling that part of the agreement. So lesson learned - there are many places to buy watches on the internet and don't select this company simply because they offer to adjust the bracelet for you. When they don't bother you either have to return the item at your cost or find somewhere to adjust the bracelet (which for me negates the whole point of using watch shop in the first place!).

I ordered a links of London pen for a friends birthday. It was meant to come in a links of London box with a guarantee. It didnt! I complained and was told they would be sent to me, they weren't. I sent numerous emails and phoned and was promised it would be sent out by two different members of staff. Today I received a links of London bracket box, which a pen won't fit in! I called and was spoken to by a rude woman who overtalkwd me and said it wasn't worthy of a complaint! If anyone from watch shop head office reads this, listen to the phone calls. Absolutely disgusting! Never use this company!

First watch ordered for christmas was faulty.
Replacement faulty.
By now husband had returned to work abroad
But only 1 week into 30 day guarantee.
Returned the watch 1 week outside the 30 day guarantee.
Full communication with the Watchshoppe from the first day it had stopped working.
They now say the watchvwss returned scratched.
My husband took photographs of the waych prior to its return and these have been sent to the Watchsoppe 3 times.
Contacted them yesterday by telephone twice.
Last call 4.55.
I was told Jack finnished at 5pm and was cut off.
Do not use this company.
I now have no watch and no money

Bought a Timex from them in January. Fast delivery came in two days and I was very pleased. After two weeks the bracelet broke and the watch battery was depleted. The estimated battery life is one year.
I was advised to send it back to them. After few weeks they sent me the watch back with a new bracelet but again a dead battery. Someone lied to me from the customer service that the battery has been replaced by the manufacturer. Had to beg to get a refund for the postage. After several e-mails I got it.
Then I sent the watch back. This time it took weeks as the watch was supposedly at the manufacturers to be inspected. I was finally offered a new watch and it came quite quickly. After two weeks of use the battery of this watch is low and I still have not received the refund for the second postage.
It has now taken four months, money and I have a malfunctioning watch and a history of 65 e-mails and counting. Will never use their business again and strongly advice everyone to do so as well.

I purchased a watch from Watchshop early in December (not a cheap watch, it was £250). A day after it arrived I noticed it had a fault so I contacted them and they told me to return it, which I did. I then had to chase them for about 2 weeks until they finally said they could not repair the watch (not that I expected them to be able to) and that they would return the watch to Casio. I told them this was not acceptable and that they must either supply me with a new, replacement watch, or give me a full refund, because consumer law is quite clear. They flatly refused. No matter how many emails I sent (and also calling them), they will not comply with the law.
After about 5 weeks they informed me that Casio needed to source some spare parts, but they did not know how long that would be. Again, I requested a new watch or a refund, and again they flatly refused. At this point I contacted my bank and requested a Visa charge-back to be placed on the transaction. A week later Watchshop finally agreed to comply with the law, i. E. only after Visa became involved. I have also contacted Casio directly and asked them to consider not supplying Watchshop.
From start to finish it has it has taken over 2 months to get this matter resolved.
This company is the worse company I have ever had to deal with. They ignore consumer law and I can only assume they just laugh when they receive complaints. Hopefully Visa will take some action against them.
Tip for consumers:
Never buy anything from this bunch of charlatans.

Awful don't trust this site, my husband brought me a micheal kors watch for Christmas he recieved it on 17 dec, looked ok on opening it Christmas Day under face plastic a tiny crack and rough glass, watchshop won't replace or refund as should have told them within 48hrs, customer service Charlotte even admitted they may have sent me a faulty watch or a second but should have reported within 48hrs from the 17th she was also rude and sarcastic. DONT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!

I bought a watch for my sister and it arrived in good time. Unfortunately the watch face (not strap) was too big for her so we sent it back for a refund (with the objective of buying a new watch from the site). When they received the watch they told us we had damaged it and would not make any refund: "As the item that you have returned has signs of wear and usage, it is now unsellable, and we are unable to process a refund." Given that the watch was never worn and in the 4 days we had it, it can only have been out of its box for about an hour that is impressive! They have refused to review this despite correspondence with them to explain the situation. Notably they say we have removed protective packaging (there wasn't any) and that the scratches on the clasp are from 'wear and tear'. I normally don't like these sorts of complaints but this really was an obvious rip off by them and they had no interest in any solution other than not refunding/crediting me. I STRONGLY urge anyone reading this not to buy from this company for your own benefit.

I bought a citizen eco drive for this company, an anniversary present for my wife, after receiving it, it wouldn't work, not any movement at all, I rang for a replacement, I was fobbed off with ''it sounds like a battery, we will send another one'' I explained eco drive means no battery needed, she then asked me to return which I did. A no replacement came, it was ''lost in the system'', as the anniversary was closing in I asked for a refund which seemed a big ask to them. After two weeks NOTHING, so as soon as I sent them a solicitors letter the refund was imminent and my solicitor present them for another bill for his time, so in the end they were £150 at a loss. Did they care?, did they hell

I purchased a watch from watchshop which was faulty. I sent the watch back to the company for them to assess the issue. They decided it should be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. The watch was returned to me in a repaired state and then it stopped working in the same manner it had before.
At this point under your consumer rights you are entitle to a refund for the purchase. I sent the watch back and asked for a refund. The company would not grant me a refund over multiple email and phone conversations. Not only were they at risk of breaching the contract you hold with them as a company when purchasing a product but they also weren't too bothered about their on going customer service reputation.
In short, the prices are attractive, but there is a serious issue with communication within this company and lack of proper management and process to deal with issues and complaints. Go somewhere else.
Please if you have any issues with the company refer to the which website on consumer rights and also money saving expert.

I am currently experiencing problems with this company. My husband bought me a lovely Rodania waterproof watch for Christmas 2014. It cost £65, with a RRP of £129.00. Recently I noticed moisture build -up under the glass of the watch face so contacted Watch shop who requested me to return it to them for assessment! However they say there is no sign of fault with the seals and that the 'crown' was probably not screwed in properly(?!) which was how the moisture got in! They quoted £45 to repair it! If by the crown they mean the small time-change pull-out button on the side, the watch would not have kept working if this was not pushed in securely, and at no time did the watch stop working! I am not paying them another two-thirds of the original purchase price for this 'repair'!
Update to this review dated 27th June 2015 - Since posting the above reply I am happy to announce that Watchshop have informed me they are going to repair my watch free of charge as a gesture of goodwill! Good on them! But beware of watches advertised as water resistant to 30M. This does not mean 30 metres (although mine had not been worn in water!), but possibly only resistant to very light rainfall and an isolated case of having been splashed with water!

Tried to price match an item twice; the process was far too messy, and resulted in no price match with no explanation. I wouldnt buy from this company as poor from the off.

I would not recommend this company to any potential customer. The first watch I ordered continually lost time after it was a year old so out of warranty. Thought it was just bad luck so ordered another watch in the sale in June. Again the watch started to lose time so agreed to return to the Watch Shop so they could monitor it in their workshop. After a few days I received an email saying no fault found so did I want to have the watch returned. I emailed to say I did as long as my manufacturers guarantee would not be affected. I then received another email saying they had "accidentally" refunded my watch so if I wanted the watch returned I needed to pay for the watch again! After checking my bank account I then did this, even thought I did think it was strange! I then received a phone call saying my watch would be sent out and I would receive by "Thursday". Yes you guessed it the watch didn't arrive. I then telephoned customer services several times, each time being held in a long queue and having to wait sometime. The agents I spoke to didn't appear to have any details of my previous phonecalls or transactions. Each time I phoned I was assured of a call back that day by a member of the escalations team. (Initially I was told that the escalations team only responded by email!) So far I have not received a phone call. My impression of this company is they are great when they are initially making the sale but after that they don't give a damn. They appear to be a bunch of cowboys who do not care about customer service at all.
I would avoid like the plague.

Price match is a sham
This company claims to price match but it DOESN'T. Which makes me wonder why they say they do? The watch in question is a seiko SNP129P1 which was found to be cheaper (28/05/2016) in debenhams and hence meeting watchshop's price match guidelines.
Below is a copy of their response to my price match request;
"We offer our sincere apologies, but in this instance we are unable to match this price.
Although we cannot provide reasons for specific cases, please ensure that your price match meets the following guidelines:
The lower priced item is exactly the same item as we have listed.
The lower priced item is not an ebay or auction listing.
The lower priced item is not secondhand or preowned.
The lower priced item is a genuine product.
The lower priced item is being sold by a seller in the UK - remember, when purchasing from abroad you will have to pay import tax and customs duty on top of the original price.
The lower priced item is being sold by an authorised dealer.
The lower priced item is part of a clearance, seasonal, overstock or liquidation sale.
The lower priced item is currently in stock and available from the other vendor."

I ordered a watch from watchshop.com. The prise was 25
The price was 2.565.12 Nok included shipping.
When I collected my package I had to pay 946,- Nok in Tax
Since the price was in Nok and inkluded shipping on the nettshop, I got the impression that the price i paid with watchshop was the total price for the watch.
This bakame a prisy misstake. Stay out of this shop. You can get the watches for better prises otherwhere.
So folks, you are herby warned

Do not buy anything here! They promise a lot but do not make any sense. Delivery time would be the next day. Has lasted 6 days. You do not get a track and trace, so you can not track your package. Customer service may be worse. All with Google Translate and they just do not understand what you meant. Having been in contact with 2 questions several times, but no answer on both. Order nothing here!
Koop hier niets! Bestel hier niets!
