The Weather Channel

Years ago, TWC was 24/7 weather. Now, it is everything but the weather. Local weather only twice an hour. The actual weather part of TWC is only 12 hours on weekdays because of other programming and only 6 hours on weekend days! If I wanted alternative programming, I would find it. TWC should be renamed The Part-Time Weather Channel!

This radical move to the "global warming" and "climate change" is ridiciulous! Was in the military as weather specialist and there is nothing that substantiates the alarmist stand the weather channel has taken. It is unwatchable anymore-pretty sad

Stop your local forecast predictions you're totally unreliable we make changes in our lives every day on your basis of your false predictions you have no clue stop your local predictions cut it out we're sick of it you fail every stinking day you try to do the whole country the Caribbean Alaska Hawai but you can't concentrate on local areas so quit you're stupid unreliable local predictions they're unreliable you lie we rely on you go to hell

Pouring rain right now, site still indicates 5% chance of rain on the hour. Seriously, they could just go outside and see what is going on.

The reason The Weather Channel has gone downhill is because a low rate comedian by the name of Byron Allen of Allen Media Group bought it! Use AccuWeather its not great but definitely better than this!

I have given up on the stupid weather channel with all their INSANE ENDLESS ADs that do NOTHING but FREEZE up my computer screen, and I can't even GET to the weather for the day, because the pop ups keep knocking it out of view! I even tried to click on their SURVEY link, and everytime I did a pop up ad interfered and suddenly I was on a shopping site for that ad... I GIVE UP... I am now using DARK SKY ONLY to get my weather. Hope WEATHER CHANNEL CRASHES! It would serve them right for being SO GREEDY to have to put every ad avail. On their site... ALL of which have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WEATHER! Talk about IDIOTS RUNNING A SITE!

I have written about the Weather channel and weather underground before, they are essentially one in the same and both really make me vomit.
I just heard a commercial which said "trust in the weather station" NOT!
These people thrive on other peoples hard-ache, the cover the weather and are thrilled to be on site of a disaster, but HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANYONE OF THEM LEND A HAND? NO that doesn't make news. I actually heard and watched the blond who broadcasts with all the guys, make jokes about a tractor trailer that slide on the ice and went hurdling over the guardrail after smashing into another vehicle. Do you think she thought about who got injured, killed. This did not even enter her little tiny brain because it was an opportunity to display drastic dangerous weather conditions which, well make them rich... Stay away from the weather channel, don't trust the weather channel, pray for the weather channel hosts, they really need it.

I remember when this weather app was top notch. Now it is the worst desktop weather app ever and they want you to pay. Forget it.

I have been a premium subscriber for several years. I hate the new update! I may have to find a new weather service.

From its early years The W Channel has gone through many changes to lineup & shows. One has to ponder how do you fill in all that extra time not focused on your local weather. Well cue in old tow truck shows, Earth will be destroyed soon documentaries, home style talk shows & plenty of vitamin & other mind numbing ads. It's been quite amiss in our local area with correct warnings, which creates a crying wolf reputation they shouldn't have. I rarely have it on the tv anymore, it use to be background noise while I cook but I don't like climate fear mongering broadcast in my face. I do my part to be conservative but just turn it off after waiting it seems like forever to just to see local radar (on the television) I'm not trying to write a scathing review for popcorn comment viewers (like me, lol) but it's just got too much other fluff. Maybe show early year archives of the old weather channel shows instead of tow truck stories. & no my kids don't want to unknowingly see pop up shows on how our earth will be destroyed in 50 years or less thank you very much. Just sayin!

What's the deal with the rural Deep South USA lingo? Don't they review the grammar and sentence structure of their narratives before they post them?

Well, I live in WA state, and was irritated to see all the temperatures in centigrade. Hey weather Channel, you're not in Europe, are you trying to be chic, elitist europhile posers? Don't be afraid to be uniquely American. USE FARENGEIT FOR TEMPERATURES IN THE U.S.

Tells me no chance of snow just to go out to a blizzard dont know how this has positive reviews a 5 year old could predict the weather better than they can. VERY ACCURATE

It's unfortunate that the weather channel is owned by Byron Allen, who has donated just in the past 24 months over $400,000 to democratic institutions and part of that $100,000 to Nancy Pelosi. So now just like CBS, NBC, ABC, we have another channel devoted to the Democratic Party pushing all of their agenda rather than providing accurate information. So as we've watched this particular tropical season in 2022, the weather channel limited any discussion about the effects of Sahara sand coming off Africa which inundated part of Europe besides covering most of the Atlantic for the entire summer, as they just wanted to hide the truth and it's really depressing because we used to depend on the weather channel to provide accurate information but that's gone by the wayside. You would think that they would understand that people would do their own investigation especially someone like myself who spends so much time in South Florida and watches the weather like a hawk and has lived through hurricanes like Irma and Sandy and Wilma, but they don't want to tell you why even last year the tropical storms and hurricanes were very low in the Atlantic didn't develop into hurricanes until they got in the gulf because of the Sahara sand. So the normal track that we've seen for years going back just a few years where tropical waves would come off the coast of Africa and then become tropical storms and then become hurricanes and then major hurricanes, that didn't happen this year but again the weather channel doesn't want to tell you why, it's really disgusting.
