“Neutral - Outdated Interface”

Bruce J.
6/10/24

The Facebook interface feels a bit outdated and clunky compared to newer social media platforms. It could benefit from a refresh. I'm always a little worried about my privacy on Facebook. There have been a lot of data breaches and privacy scandals in the past, which makes me hesitate to share too much personal information.

“SCAM ALERT”

I had a gentleman tell me he was from Plenty of Fish dating site and he is using Facebook accounts or maybe it is the guy on the account. I'm not sure. It seems that Facebook isn't able to do anything about the scams. I'm going to give all the information I can to help others avoid scams like this. Sever different men's name went back to the same Facebook account. Hell is still hot people. Please be careful.

Dating site on Facebook is a joke
July 12th, 2024
• Previous review

I'm straight and I have several females coming up when I do a search for potential dates. I have it listed that I'm straight and now I'm seeing more pictures of women then I am men. Whoever is running Facebook is a joke. My profile was hacked and stolen and Facebook sent me a page saying that I proved it was me. I did not and I replied to that email telling them that that wasn't me that proved it was me that was somebody else. They're so stupid I never got my profile back and now they're trying to set me up with women on the dating site. Folks we might as well just leave Facebook alone and go somewhere else because people aren't we tired of this crap fat Checkers who fact check doctors and they don't have a doctor's license or a PhD. They should be fined or jailed for impersonating a doctor or pretending that they know more than a doctor.

Stolen account was proven not to be stolen. REALLY?

My Gina Smith Yingling was stolen and reported by my son Brandon Marzke. Facebook said the account was proven not to be stolen. Not by me! I have photos in that account that I no longer have access to anywhere else and would like to have my account back please. The person who stole the account change the phone number and the email address. Since I have opened up an account under Gina Yingling and the only email addresses I own are *******@gmail.com and *******@gmail.com. HELP! PLEASE!

I was really looking forward to trying out Meta AI, but unfortunately, it's been a disappointment. The responses often feel generic and lack depth. I've had to repeat myself multiple times, and even then, the AI seems to miss the point. The conversation feels forced and unnatural, like I'm talking to a robot (which, I guess, I am). The lack of understanding and insight has been frustrating. I was expecting a more intuitive and helpful experience, but it's a letdown.

This man is on fiverr and Facebook and sold me a logo he "designed from scratch" only for me to find the same logo online for sale though a company where he stole it from. This logo is for sale to anyone and everyone through the site discovered online.

Avoid this thief at all costs to avoid disappointment because he is dishonest and your "new logo" will be found on the internet oused by many others. Copyright infringement, fraud and a few other transgressions come to mind...

Tip for consumers:
This man steals logos online and sells them as his own. He is a fraudster

This group operates collaboratively to deceive individuals and strip them of their assets. Initially, I believed I would recover my funds after investing a modest amount, but they ultimately seized all of my resources. They persistently requested additional payments following my initial deposit until I was financially drained. They refused to refund my investment, not even with accrued interest, which compelled me to engage another agent to retrieve my funds. A_/C/T_/I/N_/V/S_/T/L_/T/D_/./C/O_/M_ provided exceptional assistance in recovering the total amount I requested and facilitated my withdrawal.

I have a profile on facebook but awhile ago I received a contact from another member there. That person was named Sarah Seam. She said that her location was Maumelle Arkansas. I was surprised to see on her facebook page that she for a fee of 80.00 for an hr and 200.00 for a whole night was offering sex/hookups. It was clear that she was a prostitute. I reported this to Facebook but t has been months and Sarah Sean post is still there.
I also discovered that Sarah Sean is scamming people out of money by requesting they send it to PayPal and mark it Family and Friends. However when a person does that they cannot recover those funds.
She will never met you.
I don't understand why Facebook has these scammers on their site and when reported - do not remover them.

Facebook has been a great way to stay connected with friends and family, especially those who live far away. I love seeing updates on their lives and sharing mine with them.
Sometimes I find myself spending way too much time scrolling through Facebook. It can be a real time suck, especially with all the clickbait and endless feeds.

Transmission Garage Xpress LLC was closed due to tax forfeiture and now has a new location and name but same owner! They are now called "Transmission Garage" and they are now located at 1718 College St. Houston TX *******. https://www.facebook.com/p/Transmission-Garage**************

I took my van there because it would stall when I put it in gear. They called and said they fixed the problem and it wasn't transmission at all! They replaced a couple sensors and the distributor and charged me $800. I paid them and took the van, but quickly found that it would not shift out of first gear properly!
I took the van right back and they diagnosed it again and said that they needed to rebuild the transmission.

I agreed based on their expertise. I asked them to also replace the transmission mount and carrier bearing and inspect the rear end. They took 3 weeks to rebuild my transmission and they charged me $2200 for the rebuild. They did not replace the broken transmission mount they reused it! They did not replace the carrier bearing or inspect the rear end. When I got my van back and drove it home the rear license plate was missing! I went and looked closer and saw that not only is the license plate and frame gone but the part of the bumper that holds the license plate was bent and had marks that match up to the forks on a fork lift!

I called and spoke to Victor and he confirmed that they do use a fork lift sometimes to move the vehicles. When I told Victor of the damages to my van he said they would fix it if I brought the van back to them. When I told him I did not want them to do the repairs and that I have my own body shop that will fix it, Victor said his boss would contact me. When I spoke to Luis (Victor's boss) 2 days later he acted like they did nothing wrong and claimed he knew nothing of the situation, even though Victor told me that he would inform his boss of the problem. He said they don't use a fork lift to move vehicles at first, then he admitted that they do. He said he disputes the damage was caused by them and insists that I bring the vehicle to them to be inspected before he will pay for anything.

After nearly an hour on the phone Luis agreed to pay for only the part and the license plate replacement, but that he would have to buy the part and I would pick it up from him and I would have to install the part myself if I didn't want them to install it. Luis refuses to pay for my time missed from work to get the replacement license plates and for the time it will take for a body shop to properly install the part Transmission Garage damaged. An honest and fair business and business owner would pay for the damages they caused to a customer's vehicle and not try to lie to avoid paying for their mistakes.

It will cost me $381.50 to fix the damage that Transmission Garage caused to my van.

I do not recommend using this shop for anything.

Tip for consumers:
Deadbeat owner refuses to pay for the damages his Transmission Garage caused to my vehicle to this day!
Learn from my mistakes and stay away from this place!

Out of all the social media platforms I use, Facebook is by far the best. It offers a perfect balance of personal and professional networking opportunities. The interface is intuitive, and the privacy settings give me control over who sees my content.

I would like to say it's the worst site online not only do you get fact checked but you get stalkers and worst yet people to try to steal your ID. YOU GET EVIL PEOPLE IN THE MESSAGES AND FACEBOOK NEEDS TO UPDATE ABOUT HUMAN TRAFFICKING, THE OTHER VICES ON DARK WEB, GUNS, BAD PEOPLE DOING LUSTFUL THINGS NOT PG, AND ALL THE CORRUPTION. NOT AN ETHICAL BUSINESS. WWLAC WILL NOT BE APART OF THEM.

I have twice attempted to share positive, intellectual information via the fb media web. And twice I have been shut down by the zuckerberg circus.
The facebook page tends to be negatively inclined as it allows: MONEY SCAMS, SEXUAL LEWDNESS, RACIALLY DIVISIVE CONTENTS, AND POTENTIAL DAMAGING POSTINGS.
My postings were written to educate, motivate, uplift, and to inspire the mind, body, and soul with positive information. Hopefully, our courts will hold MZ liable for his capitalist exploits!

Once an adequate...no more than adequate site for those wishing to get into touch with loved ones or simply keep apprised of developments, turned into a wonderful place for selling items, then meeting other people with the likes and interests. A good thing, right? Since its founder left or went behind the scenes and placed a bunch of resentful, know-it-alls with no sense at all in charge, that once useful resource has become completely non-sensical. Logic behind their 'decisions', while may have been well-intended for...well, themselves alone... left the rest of the more mature users scratching our heads with the illogical results of their efforts.

For example, they allow scammers, who have completely over-ridden the entire platform to not only participate in groups, but they actually create and moderate the groups themselves. Then when a genuine person with no ill-intent at all but rather acting more as a good samaritan advising or warning the less astute readers or participants in those fraudulent groups, the good guy gets tattled on and suspended or blocked because of their forewarning--the truth that needs to be told. The truth that the Facebook Fairies can't seem to control and in fact, appear to support. Which leads me to my next example.

Can you remember everything that is not allowed to be posted on Marketplace? Sure things that are obvious like sexually explicit items, guns, drugs and the like are no brainers and rememberable because they are made of common sense. But c'mon things like collectors' items such as old and valuable coins? Gimme a break. There is nothing wrong with that. But instead of removing or "punishing" the obvious criminals and/or opportunists, they choose to ban someone who is legitimately trying to sell something if value. To make matters worse, the milennial Facebook Fairies simply and suddenly block a person from marketplace, sometimes, that vehicle being their only source of income, and they do do without warning, or explanation. When a person responds to their harsh yet unknown reasons for the 'punishment' a blanket, "we will get back to you within 7 days" is given. Only, true to form for these people, it takes up to three weeks for them to "review" their asinine decision to what I can only assume an AI Bots autonomy was used and your genuine response was compared to that. Meanwhile, you and your family are struggling to make ends meet because you can't sell anything on the platform and your sudden disappearance during sales negotiations causes the loss of a customer and more importantly money for food on your table.

Unfortunately, Facebook is run about brainless bots with brainless kids inputting the info into their AI propaganda. AND, they remain a the top of the billboard for social media websites despite their unwillingness or ineptitude for keeping out scammers when all it takes is a bit of reading and monitoring their own moderators. The plethora of scammers have bilked billions of dollars out of desperate, sometimes dim-witted readers who could use the help in identifying the thieves but instead, those thieves get the support of the very institution that enables their lucrative and depraved lifestyles at the expense of the poor and needy. Does Facebook and its paid lackies get kickbacks from the scammers? Sure looks that way to me. Go to a different platform that is less biased toward their own generational prejudices and who are actually capable of reading between the lines and coming up with real solutions. That would be the ticket only I don't believe one exists. So what is the answer? Start a new social media platform that relies upon the IQs of real human brains than the rhetoric recorded by the simpletons into the AI bots? That's the real winner. Now who will start the revolution?

Tip for consumers:
All of which are inappropriately moderated and inundated with scammers. A person spends more time defending themselves on the platform than benefiting from it. Stress over pleasure equals misery. If you have to use Facebook, just stay abreast of all the tactics used by scammers with your first clue being in the words they use with the second being "too good to be true" deals. Then if you are hammered by a moderator or facebook fairy, make sure to defend your position if you are in the right.

We use Milwaukee tools for all our plumbing jobs and many of the other contractors are amazed at the quality, durability and battery life. I have to keep a close eye on them so they don't disappear off the job sites. Every tool ever purchased has arrived within a week or less and is exactly as described. The price is competitive and free shipping makes it an ideal purchase for my business. No issues with this merchant. Thank you for great service and another great Milwaukee tool. Looking forward to making more purchases in the near future.

Facebook is nice for the memories and connecting with family and friends but, their whole community standards are ridiculous. God forbid you use a term like " I could've killed her for taking pics of me while I was in labor" or "my teenager is so mouthy at times I wanna knock her out" rhetorically!? Like, y'all can't decipher between an unintended type of comment and a real threat? Without banning someone or a preset determined amount of time?

Products used:
None, most of Facebook ads to purchase are scammers or take 2-5 weeks longer to receive than they advertise. Also, the product is usually not what they claim. But, that has nothing to do with my review. My review is of Facebook and itself in their ridiculous algorithms that ban you for a simple unintended phrases being used in a context that they don't even view to see if it's innocent or an actual threat!
