WeVideo is an easy-to-use cloud-based app that can be used on most devices. Digital workflow for WeVideo projects is simple and easy to understand.

Our school district is testing out WeVideo as a potential replacement for Adobe CC Premiere (and their $19.99/month subscription fee), and we are very pleased!

There are a variety of video tutorials that you can use to learn how to use the software. WeVideo is pretty much "plug and edit" and it's very easy to use with a short learning curve.

Definitely a great value for the money! WeVideo has been a pandemic program-saver for our high school basic video editing class.

We struggled with video production for years. Video editing software seemed overly complex and expensive, and then the cost of video shooting itself was cost prohibitive. With wevideo we have been able to produce great videos, using a combination of our own footage and their stock footage. We started with a company called Promo, which I found to be not worth it at all, but wevideo has been fantastic. Because it's over the internet, the editing can a little wonky at times, but we haven't found it to be a significant problem.

Site crashed, and my data went paaaaaaaaaaaaa. I know that the over all usage is good, but since it's a site, not an app, it was too heavy to do more than 10 min. Job. So if you are going to use it, make sure that you won't make it too heavy.

From the get go I was skeptical. Started editing and everything looked fine but after wanting to export the video I needed to pay just to get one video I was editing for hours! Yeah, really upsetting and annoying...

I will sent proof of payment if they will assist but to make things worse it's also non-refundable!

Stay away! Also user experience isn't good at all! I just thought it was a glitch like PhotoPea which is free to use and awesome even tho it has it's up's and downs but WeVideo is definitely the opposite!

It tells you that you will pay a certain amount monthly, and then actually charges you for the full year. They do not have a phone to call, so I emailed them numerous times, asking for a refund, and they refuse to respond. Do. Not. Use. This. Program.

Super easy to use and crazy fast to purchase and set up. I'm so tired of hearing everyone complain about price gimmicks and inability to cancel. Their pricing is very direct and straight forward and you have several options. Anyone who is confused clearly downloaded the program for the "free" version and didn't bother to read. They very clearly spell out what the cost is for each available platform and exactly what the benefits are and are not with each version. Also, if you are complaining that you can't cancel your account, again, you didn't read what the company directly told you when you clicked that you wanted to download. They make it perfectly clear you cancel your own account anytime by simply going to your account settings and cancelling your account. This is a great product and the terms and costs are painfully clear if you simply take the time to read the!

I got WeVideo to develop some videos for work (internal & external). I was pressed for time so I was looking for something that intuitive to use, but also had the capability for more advanced editing -- they definitely delivered! I went with the paid plan so I could have full access to everything I might need.

I never used a video editing program before but once I got comfortable with the basics it was really easy to pull in my content and make customer-ready videos. For the newbies out there like me, their tips and tricks youtube page has really cool ideas with step by step instructions. I stumbled on it while I was starting out and thought it was a super helpful resource to amp up my videos.

I subscribed to this service a year ago for my daughter's school-related work. They sent me an e-mail stating that they were going to renew my subscription automatically on April. I immediately tried to cancel the subscription but the button didn't work. I tried to contact them by phone, they don't have personnel to answer the phone. You have to use the answering machine and state why you want to contact them. Or you have to use the e-mail, of course for delaying the answer and charge the price of the subscription of another year. Now that I could cancel it, they say that I have to pay for the year anyway. Don't buy it or they are going to play with you like they are doing with everybody else. Not only review this enterprise, fill up a complaint so they are going to learn from their dishonest business practices.

I was just going to use Wevideo to edit one video and I paid for the power premium so that I could get the video in better quality. It said, from the start, that the option cost 4 dollars a MONTH. So I thought I could pay the 4 dollars and then cancel my subscription after a month. So I finished the video then cancelled my subscription. Turns out they billed me for a whole year, 59 dollars I think. I did not even use the service for a whole day. And now I can't get my money back? Very dodgy, do not use this service.

Found it difficult to use to begin with. Didn't realize that when you pay for the use of this product you are actually enrolling in a monthly subscription and there are no refunds. Would not recommend this product. The whole purpose of this product is to edit a video so you can upload it to different sites in my case it was for school. Well I paid for 30 minutes but it never cut my 20 minute video and deducted for the 30 minute allowable for $10. Movie maker is free and a lot easier to use.

I used to recommend this tool to everyone. It has great functionality for intro/medium video ethusiasts to utilize.

They up'd/changed pricing though and did it somewhat like a wireless carrier tries to boot your off your plan. That I recently discovered was my reward for being an early adopter.

Most importantly if I ran out of time working on a project this monthfro work. I previously could puchase a single video for a 1 time fee. They have removed this functionality for old plans. Not to mention all the new plans that cost more and have significantly less storage on them than my old plan does.

They have turned using their software into an experience like arguing with a wireless carrier... I did not see that one coming.

You go to the site and then you realize you have to pay to get anything good and to remove an annoying watermark. This site is basically iMovie except 1,000 times worse and you have to pay money in order to get more than 5 minutes record time. I would not recommend this site to anyone, use iMovie instead.

I have been with wevideo for a couple of years now and pay a lot of money each month to get the features I need. A couple of months ago they decided to change things on their site, from then on its been so very bad. It can take me up to an hour to upload a video whereas before it was around 10 minutes or so, before I could start to edit while the video was still uploading, now it wont let me put it in the editing box, quite often I have been uploading for around 30 mins and when the vid gets to half way a sign will pop up saying no media link, when there clearly is a media link as it has half way uploaded, I then have to start all over again, when I finally do get to start editing the video will keep sticking, or the video will move and there will be no sound or visa versa. I have complained to customer services twice and the advice they gave me was to delete all cookies, I did this and nothing has changed its still awful. The reason I like wevideo is because its extremely easy to use, they have some good videos which I can use in my videos as a story line and they also have some good affects. But its come to the point where I am going to have to find another editor because I regularly upload to my you tube channel once a week, and where as before I could start my edit on the day before I upload, I now have to make sure I have one recorded and edited around 3-4 days before as it takes so long now.

Wevideo is a very bad website, mostly because you have to pay to get features which you can usually get for free on other websites. Also, I worked so hard on one video, only to know that I ran out of publish time, and I can not publish my video unless I pay the money. Wevideo is saying everything is free, and when we work so hard on one video, it says we have to pay for something. I hate this website and DO NOT USE IT

I contacted the business and Mary spoke me on the phoneI contacted the business and Mary spoke me on the phone. This is been the only time that I was able to get ahold of anybody. I ask for assistance by phone and email and I got an email back stating to look at their library a Tutorials. I told them on the phone That I would cancel my That I would Subscription of nobody contacted me. No one Has. My card was charged but no email was sent to confirm purchase.

Yo, I got the flex plan only to realize I only have 20 minutes of publish time and 2 gb of vid storage. You would think you could delete a vid to free up space BUT NOPE. Stays the EXACT same. They say it's valid for a year but that just throws you off cause you can only post 20 vids IF THEY ARE ALL 1 MINUTE LONG. DONT PAY FOR THIS WEVIDEO SCAM BS. HELL U CANT EVEN DELETE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. DONT GET BEWAREEEE!

I teach two high school classes based in digital editing of film/video. "Short Films" where we study different types/styles of film making, then create our own versions of that type, as well as "Media Production" where we create weekly news programs for the school. We have a "Film production" lab, with 15 Mac computers, and for the last 6 years have used Final Cut to do the editing for those classes. Due to Covid, and the already impossibly small size of that room, we had to find an alternative for the classes to use on their ChromeBook "computers". Did some poking around, and did the free version of WeVideo for a week before deciding it was WELL worth it to spend nearly a third of my department (Visual Art) on getting the fancier version.
Still surprised at some of the things this program is able to do, especially for $300 for 30 liscences for an entire year.

It used to be completely free, but now they have a "Premium version" which costs from $5 a month to $30 a month. Without premium, you have LIMITED EDITING TIME. I mean, who does that? Now I have to rush to get the video done, and I'm like, "Please don't say I'm out of publish time please don't say that." I highly recommend using something else that is completely free, such as iMovie.

WeVideo is just a pain. Can we just ban WeVideo? I hate hate HATE WeVideo. I'm trying to get a specific image and it just keeps on giving me nothing. JUST... WEVIDEO SUCKS!

Pros:
- I guess it's easy to use if you don't want to download anything else?
Cons:
- They cram your video full with WeVideo branding, including a large watermark, and an unremovable link and phone number at the end of every video
- It is extremely limited, as are most online editors, but WeVideo is special in that it limits the amount of time you can spend editing to 3 hours total, throughout ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS. That's right, the timer is universal. Another limitation is that you must pay for a subscription to add text to your video or to use the green screen technology so many people claim that WeVideo does well
- The UI is extremely unpleasent
- It pressures you constantly to buy the full version
- There is no reason to use it. Online editors are simply not as powerful as offline editors and open source editors are ALWAYS FREE

DO NOT GET. It is horrible. I did it for a schoole project and i added voiceovers and i matched them to the exact spot. Like only 10 seconds later it just moves the video to A COMPLETELY RANDOM PLACE. Also, they add random voicovers THAT I DIDN'T EVEN ADD! Also the purchase thing is scamming. It says that it's free but its just scamming your money

Ok so I bought the software on a monthly rolling plan as I wanted to be able to get things in the cloud and upload from mobile and other devices easy.

One problem is that if you have a video with audio you can't easily split the audio from the video. Most other software I've used makes that easy.

The main problem is that if you try to upload a video that is large (for me using my twitch.tv/pjenx1986 vods) you have to upload and process and wait for them to process the video.
It took over 24 hours for one 4 hour vod to get processed and due to the time I think a connection dropped somewhere, I then had to return and re do the editing and upload the video again. So a total waste of time.
The quicker way is to edit your video first which is stupid. You should be able to just select 20 mins from a 4 hour video and only use that surely?!
Anyway it seems stupid and you then can't access it from your mobile app if you used your pc. So all in all a waste of money. I could have just uploaded a bunch of the videos to fiverr and waited for some professional to edit and clip my videos in the time I waited! Probably similar price too.
