On 11/28/22, I placed an order for perishable food items. I was notified on 11/30/22 that it had shipped and given a FedEx tracking number that showed a shipment category of FedEx Smartpost. After checking the tracking for several days and seeing that FedEx had yet to receive the package, I wrote to them in the early hours of 11/03/22 asking when it would be shipped, as it had already sat in their warehouse, most likely packaged with some type of cold pack, for several days. They responded within hours and completely ignored my questions. Instead they simply sent a typical form letter that apologized for any "inconvenience", which is the standard buzzword ALL companies seem to use now when they have screwed up and have no answers. The email went on to state, "Our gifts are shipped in refrigerated trucks to a postal center near the order's destination.". That is interesting considering the fact that FedEx does NOT have refrigerated trucks. The true fact is that my order had been sitting in their warehouse for several days, probably misplaced in some corner somewhere, and the cold packs used to ship it were already past their useful life. I immediately responded back to them on the morning of 11/03/22 and pointed out the fact that they had intentionally failed to answer my simple question of when they intened to actually tender my package to FedEx. That email received no response. I have now written to them again, pointing out their outright lie about FedEx's supposed refrigerated trucks abnd the fact that any shipment at this point would be of items that have been unsafely packed for several days since cold packs only last for 2-3 days, 4 days at best. At this point, I have no reason to believe my item will ever actually make it out of their warehouse and, even if it does, it will now contain items deemed unsafe for consumption. This company has already proven to be a company to avoid at all costs, from their poor and unsafe shipping to their lying customer service. Stay away from this one. As a side note - they are the SAME company ans SwissColony. Same ownership. Same location (Monroe, WI). Same items, even down to the cute names for many of their items.

Tip for consumers:
Major player online and via catalog sales of snack meats, cheeses and dessert items.. Basically the same company as Swiss Colony, only some paperwork separates them.
