Easy and fast booking system. Found a great price for our vacation in Italy. I would definitely recommend going through Wisecars if you're looking to rent a car.
Absolutely awful experience with these cowboys. They accept my Revolut card to book the car and pay the deposit, then when I arrive at my destination they claim that they can't accept a "online banking institution" card and refuse to refund my money. The customer service agent was incredibly rude, refused to identify himself and was very unprofessional. I have had to chase this up several times to even get an update a week later. Book direct with the rental agencies and Avoid avoid avoid wisecars!
Their "happy flow" probably works fine but they made a little mistake with my reservation which costed me 266 euros. Now their customer support suddenly stopped responding.
I'll ltake legal steps because i'm done being screwed over by car rental companies but they clearly count on the fact most people won't for a couple of hundreds...
Just don't book here, find another one

Do not use this company. Tell you one price increases buy 400% when you pick it up. Yes they will look into this when you question. You could be dead by the time this happens. Scam artists.
Wait, whoops a reply via another review. Lies all lies. Did I choose to pay and extra $120USD for airport pickup where I had booked to pick up, NO another $79.00 for recovery fee (already had taken insurance.). They don't even give you the right of reply.

I am not able to find a reservation with your name. Wisecars lets customers compare different car rental companies deals and does not alter prices after a reservation has been done- the suppliers are in charge of car rental pricing and by our agreement have to follow the agreed booking prices and terms.
As we can not identify the reservation sadly we are unaware of what exactly happened here, the extra products, fees and taxes charged at the location are managed by the car rental companies not Wisecars. Please contact us directly.

They hide behind their Terms and Conditions, they pay their suppliers in advance, and can't get their money back from their service providers if anything goes wrong. Stick with renting direct from rental companies.
Do not use this car rental agency. They will not stand by you when their supply chain fails to meet your needs. Pay a few dollars more because you truly get what you pay for folks.
All rates and policies are subject to variation from company to company, and each company's performance is cloaked behind the veil called Wisecars. If you were to use this site effectively, you'd need to sleuth every rental option with a fairly specific Google search to understand what you're getting yourself into.
Our flight was late to arrive, and the rental car company decided to close before allowing us to pickup the vehicle. Apparently, for this branch of this company, this was par for the course. Neither company would help support my family as we were stranded at an unknown airport in an unknown place in the middle of the night. No options to get a car, and no refunds.

DO NOT rent from this company! They denied me refund of a rental fee by saying I was a no show because I did not have a credit card. I've never had trouble renting from a company with a debit card before, even internationally, and don't even own a credit card. Never mind that I had already paid the majority of the rental fee and only owed a small amount or that the no debit card policy was not included in the confirmation email. Or the fact that their policy is buried in the terms and conditions and not obvious on their website. I was not even offered a partial refund. I was simply out of luck and had to scramble to rent from another company at a higher rate. They do NOT care. I will NEVER rent from them again.

I stand by my review. The word debit is no where to be found in the terms of service and was not included in the confirmation email. I did not see the voucher email and do not have a copy of it. Even if I had received it, I would not have had time to apply for and receive a credit card within the 48 hour notice. The lack of any type of reimbursement for loss of funds and inconvenience shows a lack of concern for the customer and is poor customer service.

This company is completely classless. Their customer service is downright scary. Their rates may be good, but let it be known that if you have any customer service issues, they will turn the other way and steal your money. Good luck trying to get it back as they care exactly 0% for their customers.
Scam, scam, scam... Yes, they have an "out" with their vague fine print that says if you don't comply with whatever the local rental agency requires, you lose your deposit. There is NO way to know what the local firm requires so they can require a card type you don't have or create new fees you never expected! Oh, and fine print fo the local agency - still not specific - sent less than 48 hours of travel! Wisecars does not care. Do NOT use this agency! Note: they will reply to negative reviews stating that all of this is in their terms and conditions. I reiterate: their terms and conditions are intentionally vague to protect them and screw the consumer when the local agency creates more fees or requirements that are unexpected.

Car Reservation Confirmation- Worst experience ever.
Many months now we have planned our journey to Paris from Greece. To facilitate our travel plans, we have a confirmed car reservation under the reference number #*******, which was secured on 26/04/2023 through wisecars by Alamo and we have paid an advance 26/04/2023 when the reservation was confirmed.
The pick up for our reserved car was on 12/08/2023 at 10:00 a.m. from Paris Gare du Nord Railway Station.
Yesterday 09/08/2023 the last minute of our planned journey we have received a call and an email from wisecars and we were informed that our confirmed rental by Alamo through wisecars is no longer available.
So actually the last minute you cancelled a confirmed reservation without providing a solution for a mistake that you are fully responsible.
You are the worst company with no respect at all for your customers

I have used Wisecars several times, I have always received a very good deal, their prices are much lower than other providers, even lower than renting directly from the car rental company. I've also always received help from their customer service when I've called or written. I've even had to cancel my rental once and then I got a refund very quickly, in about 4 days the money was back in my account. I dare to recommend Wisecars to everyone!

This company is a straight scam. I attempted to rent a car from them for a few days for $535. After paying and going to pick up the rental I was told that I had to pay an additional $600, which was never mentioned. I refused to pay and they refused to refund me my $535 back. I read other reviews from this company after this had happened and that is a common scam they run on people.

Terms and conditions are misleading and not provided fully until after credit card is changed. I was told as purchaser of vehicle I didn't need to be present and the driver only needed to be. When I called budget to confirm details, I was told I had to be present. If I was not then driver could present their credit card but would be recharged for full rental plus $200 service fee. This company is fraudulent and misleading. They are shady and deceptive and will not issue a refund because it's my fault for not reading terms and conditions. It is their fault for saying I didn't need to be present but essentially if I'm not they make money and then the car rental place takes more.

Was told we had our reservation for $550 and that no other person would have to provide a credit card for the rental. However, upon getting the rental not only were we required to provide another credit card (that of the driver) but it was then charged over double what we had already paid for the rental. Customer service told us "go check with the rental company" and that there is nothing they can do but sometimes this does happen and they apologize. Will not be using them again and do not recommend anyone use them either.

Dreadful. No car available upon collection despite booking - left high and dry at the airport. Took 2 weeks to obtain my refund after perusing it further through bank dispute. Kept being fobbed off by Wisecars. Avoid at all cost!

Rented a car in Denver. Price due at pickup was $89.71. My receipt at pickup was over $149. I was told to take it up with Wisecar directly. My credit card was charged over $171. Called Wisecar and got no help and no refund for overcharges. Stay away - You think you are getting a good deal but they overcharge you after the fact. Total scam company!
I easily found a wide selection of cars at competitive prices. The customer support team was attentive, and responsive, and provided valuable assistance throughout the booking process. When I arrived to pick up my rental, everything was well-organized and efficient. In June of 2022 I pre paid for my car on line, the original carge was 364.61. I was double charged for the rental. 786.56 was charged to my charged again.TOTAL of 1151.17 for my rental. I have called, emailed, have claim numbers, sent copies that were requested, jump through thier hoops with ZERO help in resolving this charge.Stay clear of this company Wisecars. They are a horrible rental company.They work with rental car lots and because it is a third party...you have no recourse. What I learned is keep scrooling and never click on Carwises ever again.

I will never do business with this company ever again. They will take your money and run, I had a delayed flight from SeaTac airport to Burbank 3519 because of inclement weather issues all planes were grounded and notified wisecars of this matter by phone and e-mail a few hours before the pickup deadline and forwarded my flight itinerary and they still insisted on charging me. I also found out Fox rental car the rental vendor never charged wisecars and yet wisecars still charged me the full rental price despite knowing the airlines policy for weather and grounding the planes was out of my hands. There are much better rental car companies out there and please as a consumer, Beware of their services….

As much as we want to accommodate your reservation in case of flight delay, the car rental company has a fixed grace period which we cannot change. It is also stated on the Fox Terms and Conditions you accepted during the booking process that if you fail to pick up the vehicle on time, your booking will be considered a No-Show and you are not eligible for a refund in this case.
Please note that the Fox agents do not have access to the billing information stated on the contract between Wisecars and Fox, not to mention that disclosing any contract details to other parties is strictly forbidden.
