My favorite part of this experience has been the professionalism. I can't tell you enough how assuring it is having Basecamp and the great communication. My biggest fear was definitely relaying my vision to your artists. The quick questionnaire you all sent me when this project started took care of everything. I would tell them to come with an idea and WizMotions will turn it into reality.
1st you have to watch a tutorial to explain to you their protocol for you to do business with them. Then you have to enroll in a special communication email service to communicate with them. However in 3 days they have done nothing except send me emails to ask me if I watched their tutorial and have I enrolled in their email program so they can send me updates about all the things they haven't gotten done. No wonder it takes then 3 weeks to draw a picture
We created a short 2 minute marketing piece for our product. Wizmotions was very professional, great project management, and very timely. I would definitely recommend them for any whiteboard project.
When I started looking for an animator to do my project, it became very apparent that there were lots of options out there. With a tight deadline looming, I had little time to do much research, so I clicked on WizMotion. I liked what I saw, and initiated contact. From the very start they were super responsive and very clear on their process. With full confidence I proceeded, picking the style of animation I wanted, and paying half the balance. With that, we were off and running. The production team, led by Federico, took over, and sent me clear instructions of what was needed to make my video a success. We worked together closely for the next 18 days as the video was being produced. The lines of communication, via Basecamp, were terrific. Responses to my questions were super fast, and when changes were needed they happened with lightning speed. They could not have been more accommodating, and I was super happy and very pleased with the end result. I will use WizMotion again, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an animated video. They're real pros, and satisfying their clients is clearly the priority.
This is our first white board video, and I do not think it will be our last. It took a bit to get used to Basecamp. WizMotions came through with the video on budget. I am pleased.
Had the pleasure of working with Federico & his team, very organized and broke stuff down to help me understand. Very patient and courteous, loved the videos!
The process was simple thanks to the personal attention of the WizMotions team! They made sure to attend to every request we had and came up with a stunning video. Highly recommand them!

I worked with Mark Usman and he was a pleasure to work with. Great communicator, asked detail questions upfront to ensure we were on the same page, and delivered a product our team was happy with
NeckCare LLC was in need of a simple and entertaining instruction videos so we contacted WizMotions and immediately they presented to us the way forward, providing constructive ideas as to how we could best communicate the NeckCare instructional messages. Only few days after that they delivered +100% on their promises and adding a small bonus packe for us as well. WizMotions enabled us to actively participate in the creation of the product so at all times we were sure that the whole project team was on the same page.
I would definitely recommend WizMotions to all those that want fast and very effective quality service.

This was a challenging process for everyone involved, because we needed to create a video in Chinese, but the Wizmotions team did not have copywriters for Chinese. We were aware of this "gap", but the rigorous process used by Wizmotions, and customer service commitment from Wizmotions gave us confidence that the project could succeed. We were not wrong.
Tracy did a fantastic job of understanding the essence of the message to be communicated, and created an English script which was the basis of a Chinese script that our own team then created around the core themes.
The cross cultural communication elements were handled very well by the artists, who came up with a number of good ideas that were directly incorporated. At the same time, ideas that could only come from our own team were incorporated very well too.
Federico was very patient and very professional, and kept accepting every change we made or every issue we highlighted at each stage of the project. Because we made sure to fix issues at the stages they were supposed to be addressed, the process went smoothly.
We would have loved for Wizmotions to do a "turnkey" for us, but that was not possible due to cultural and linguistic constraints.
Timezones were a challenge too, meaning we lost a few weeks due to everyone working 12-15 hours out of sync.
We're very happy to see the final product, and look forward to seeing the results in the market after we put it on our website.
Wizmotions did a great job, at a very fair price, given all the constraints in this project.

I have been quite happy with the service and quality of material from Wizmotions. Christina has been easy to work with and quite responsive. I will recommending colleagues.
We were impressed with how well the wizmotions team was able to quickly understand our product and needs for the video. The finished product and attention to deal was amazing!
I recently completed a national video project where I worked with multiple vendors to create a variety of videos. We contracted with WizMotions to create 2 animated explainer videos. We paid $4,206.50 for a 1D and a 2D video. The project has extended over 8 months with 1 video delivered and the 2nd stalled after I relayed this feedback from our team.
This is really rough. The animation looks like a 1980s Atari game to me (the "liquid" flowing into the measuring cups is a specific sort of awful that I don't understand how they could even deliver to a client without feeling ashamed of themselves).
I ran the first video from Wiz Motions through a test of 100 users and the video scored the lowest among the group (including videos simply made with AI software).
The whole production process was so much work, it seemed that at every step along the way things had to redone. Wiz Motions tried to charge us even more to make changes saying it was company policy. At this point I haven't heard back from them in a month and I am tired of having to fight to try to get something I would actually show clients. We already paid for the videos so it would be included on our 2018 expenses. What a huge disappointment and waste of time and money. I hope you can learn from our mistake and not hire them!
HI Amelie - I"m sorry your experience was not positive and I hope we can still address your concerns. Your first video was completed and delivered. As to your comment about charging you extra, I'm assuming this is in reference to your first video. As we tell all of our clients, our process is very step by step and we ask for your approval along the way. If we complete all of the artwork and produce the video and then major revisions are requested to the artwork then we do have to charge a small fee. We did waive this fee for you after you expressed your displeasure with that.
Your second video was approved through all steps and then we delivered the first cut of animation. Your latest reply was that you would like the animation of the flow of liquid improved. You had also mentioned you showed the video to some other people and they did not like the colors. Our last response to you was to get further clarification on that and we have yet to hear back. We will be reaching out again to you. Thank you
If you are prepared to put in the effort, the team will work with you to get a great product. Really enjoyed this creative journey with the WizMotion team. I look forward to working with them again.
They were very responsive and did not mind if revisions needed to be made as long as it turned out the way we needed it to. Would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone.
Wizmotion was great to work with but at times I felt like I was making suggestions for improvement that should have been done automatically by Wizmotion.
My client was told to expect delivery in about 3 weeks. It's now going on 3 months. Very disorganized and unreliable customer service.
Excellent service and responsiveness, Mark made the process seamless and enjoyable. I will be recommending Wiz Motion to all my colleagues
HARC is a nonprofit research organization. We hired wizMotions to create three explainer videos for us, each about a minute long. We went with a whiteboard-style video, full color, and asked wizMotions for assistance writing the script, doing the voiceover, and doing the sound effects.
WizMotions was great to work with from the start; their pricing structure and process was clear and easy to understand with no hidden fees and rates that were affordable for a small nonprofit. WizMotions staff did work quickly and really truly listened to the feedback we gave to revise their work. The artwork in our video is great (they did a likeness of our staff that looks fantastic!) and the message is clear and easy to understand thanks to their assistance with the script. Our finished product looks amazing and definitely will be something we showcase!
I was really amazed with how quickly the staff grasped what it is we do and how to communicate that. It's pretty abstract, and we've had contractors work with us before who worked with us for months and still never seemed to get what it is we do. In contrast, wizMotion's assistance on the script and the video demonstrated that they quickly understood what we were doing and how to best convey that to others.
WizMotion staff were always available, responsive, and polite. The video is just what we were envisioning, if not better. It was a great experience and we will definitely use them again!
Thank you Jenna for the review! We appreciate your business, let us know if we can help with anything else :)
Fast delivery, easy to work with and great job done with our new animation! Higly recommended. Thanks wizMotions!
We've used WizMotions twice now and had the same result both times: they did what they said they'd do, on-time and on-budget.
Great team to work with. They worked with my budget and in a timely manner. I plan to use them again.
Wiz motions really knows how to explain what a company does in a way thats easy to understand for its customers!
It would be very helpful to clients to have a primer, and what the customer needs to provide, and how graphics are typically formatted and why? E.g. Operational definition of various components. If you are going to use this table for surgery or for a picnic. You wash it differently... in essence what graphics layers are required. For drawing animation vs. cutouts. Why and how videos are created.
We liked cut out videos, we can say more in a shorter period of time. If customers have questions, ask, ask ask, if your not sure, reword your questions to make sure your project team understands, and get's you. Every customer has different objectives.
Spend time with your internal company team to vett your approach, and have your basic script done. Why? It provides direction for Wizmotions team to understand your philosophy. Without having to guess your strategy! If you want a great video, it is customer's responsibility to articulate the vision and narrative. Wizmotion excels in embellishing what you have created.
We looked at many videos that wizmotions had on youtube, so we could theorize our video approach. Also, what really helped is Dr. Cialdinis book Influence...
The main points of influence are described here, and are essential in organization of your subject matter and influence points.

Had most of the graphics, and the voice over selection was very talented and awesome... Orchestration of video components was great. Plan on a 2nd video in 60 days.
At the end of the day, the whiteboard video that wizMotions produced for us was well done and of good quality and they were very attentive to everything until the last day of our project. The reason I am not giving them 5 stars is due to shortcomings in their process.
One of the first things they do is give you a detailed questionnaire to fill out in order to get the project rolling and for a script to be written. This questionnaire is thorough and well done, but it lacks a few basic questions.
Never were we asked to fill out a menu of things that we would like to include in our video such as script, narration, sound effects, music, color, etc. Each of these things is potentially an add-on which may and surprising to us did cost extra. Since these were not adequately spelled out early on, we were dinged along the way with unexpected costs to finalizing our video.
Secondly, because we were up against a self-imposed deadline, on our deadline date I asked for a progress report at about noon. I did not receive a response. I sent a second note a couple of hours later, then a third and never received a response. I became frantic and therefore sent an email to their general customer support portal. The response I received was unbelievable..."I wish I could do something to help, but for security reasons, I cannot access the account... We simply provide the platform that they're using to work with you, but we have no other connection to them or wizMotions." He then gave me a contact email instead of just forwarding my emailed concerns to them which he could have done because he gave me the email address (wizMotions never gave us a phone contact).
If it weren't for these two very important details, I would have given wizMotions 5 starts for an exceptional video that we are happy with.
Thanks Bill, I appreciate the nice words. I would like to address a few of the concerns you had in the interest of full transparency for anyone reading:)
First regarding this: "Never were we asked to fill out a menu of things that we would like to include in our video such as script, narration, sound effects, music, color, etc. Each of these things is potentially an add-on which may and surprising to us did cost extra. Since these were not adequately spelled out early on, we were dinged along the way with unexpected costs to finalizing our video."
We are extremely transparent in our pricing and process from the very beginning. All of our pricing options and video options are found on this page on our site: http://wizmotions.com/pricing. In addition to these options there are countless other "creatives" that can be added to a project. With someone like animation videos the options are infinite. We always try our best to get as much information as possible from our clients from the very beginning but sometimes during the project options do come to light in which we do need to add cost. Because of how transparent we are I'm comfortable with this process as are our clients.
Regarding this: "Secondly, because we were up against a self-imposed deadline, on our deadline date I asked for a progress report at about noon. I did not receive a response. I sent a second note a couple of hours later, then a third and never received a response."
In this project in Basecamp it's clear what happened as we have time stamps that show all replies from us and our clients. You had sent us a message at 3:17 Eastern and the PM in charge got back to you in less than 3 hours. This was on a Saturday. I'm comfortable with this response time and I think our clients are as well. Here is the screenshot showing that: https://www.screencast.com/t/gAxpzp4OgRyW
Next regarding this: "I became frantic and therefore sent an email to their general customer support portal. The response I received was unbelievable...'I wish I could do something to help, but for security reasons, I cannot access the account... We simply provide the platform that they're using to work with you, but we have no other connection to them or wizMotions.' He then gave me a contact email instead of just forwarding my emailed concerns to them which he could have done because he gave me the email address (wizMotions never gave us a phone contact)."
You contacted Basecamp support. Not my team. Basecamp is the third party project management software we use to manage our projects with our clients. They have tens of thousands of customers and are not responsible to contact us on anyone's behalf. They don't know how we are or what we do, they just provide a software service to us. In my opinion to think that they act on our behalf is pretty unreasonable. They gave you the contact email address of my partner John (who is on the billing profile for the software) who got back to you within an hour I believe after you sent him a message (again on a Saturday). To contact my actual team, the best way to do that would be to go to our website and go to our Contact page. Our phone number is also at the top of every page of our website.
If anyone has any questions on this I can be reached at bill@wizmotions.com. Thank you!
The process worked well. It is of course important to have your animation well thought out prior to engaging.
Wizmotions went above and beyond my expectations with service, communication and quality of work with the final product.
