I discovered the Ko kea hotel in Kauai on Worldlifestyle. My husband and I had such a great time there and we absolutely cannot wait to be back. Maybe one day I can afford to buy a place on that Island
I just got through reading 28 things you should never buy from a thrift store. I got my laugh for the day. This article is senseless, just a bunch of "don't buy" nonsense. Whoever lets this crap get published is just as bad as whoever wrote it! I give this a 2 thumbs down
If you read their fine print, they kinda say the stuff is made up. No, a teacher was NOT fired for refusing to meow back to her student who "identified" as a cat. Stop listening to this crap. It makes you look dumb when you insist its real. Students are NOT in classrooms asking for litter. KNOW THE SITE. AND Don't LOOK dumb to your friends unless I guess they were beamed up to a spaceship last night. Then have fun but please don't vote ok?
Tip for consumers:
Run. Its all fake.
What a waste of time! Insulting to their consumers! Took the quiz what American Accent do you have. After answering all the questions. My answer was INFANT. I answered 4,% correctly! This was to tell me where my accent is from, not a test of knowledge. And it was not a rest!
Wasted my time! You idiots. You get 0%!
I wanted to know about the Jackie and Tom story but after reading it and clicking next multiple times... none of it answered my questions and just made me question more. They just kept adding useless filler and they made it seem like Tom was this horrible cheater person but it wasnt like that at all, please no one use this website
Tip for consumers:
PLEASE NO ONE USE IT, ITS FULL OF CLICKBAIT AND USELESS FLLER. just look it up the story instead of reading it on this POS website
You try to read one of their articles and it is full of ads, which is OK if you can get by them but they have deceiving continue buttons. They use continue and next and hit wrong one off to the ad website you go. I could tolerate that buy you can't get back to where you were at. I will have to remember this site and just scroll past it, no matter how interesting it could be.
The title above is also part of this review (preliminary oversight on my part)... cont... using clickbait to convey a message & grab/hold a consumers attention to create more ad exposure, well, cheapens both the story & products being advertised. Gotta be a more respectful
Tip for consumers:
Most of us are familiar with clickbait advertising...it often takes a perfectly good special-interest story and near ruins it with the fragmentation process...I'm afraid certain politicians have "normalized" mass exposure to con games...which cheapens us as a society if we continue this downward slide started by the likes of the Newt Gingrich
As that old rolling stones title implies, anyone whose ever been suckered into this "clickbait" understands how they bait & prey upon their viewers... and all those advertisers who bombard you along the way are complicit to their force-fed, combat advertising scheme. It's like a prostitute on a dark corner exposing herself to draw you in, then her pimp thugs you & steals your wallet.
Literally the biggest waste of time non-stories to add cookies to your device, just read one called man finds puppies but there not dogs, they are foxes. Wtf. Have blocked the site in my virus protection and reported it on every platform I can. I may sue for time.
Worst site ever, something that takes 200 words to explain creates a 30 page power point of useless cliffhangers and barrage of ads. This company or website needs to be completely removed from the internet.
Went to read an article about a woman whose husband accepted a note on a receipt from a waitress. 5 pages of complete nonsense, prompting you to click "next" after reading 2 or 3 sentences that had nothing to do with the story. All nonsensical rambling and pointless details like the wife using the restroom the couple wanting a break from their kids.
What really pissed me off though was the old decoy ad-clicking trick of disguising an ad link as the actual "next" button, so you end up redirecting yourself to more spam by accident.
Bad website that contributes to everything wrong with journalism today.
The site is constantly phishing for new users. They inject ads between pages, paragraphs, and even individual clauses. Absolutely horrible stories and the terms of agreement recommend that you don't trust the articles before researching. It's still really crappy and deserves a zero. I don't get a drop of satisfaction from clicking "next" 11 thousand times until I realize I was click baited into fake news.
Tip for consumers:
No seriously I don't recommend you continue to use the site. If you make money from this site you are the only one benefitting.
They put money into clickbait ads so they can stretch out literally nothing across 5 pages of ads. Each page contains one small block of text which only exists to get you to click the 'next page' button to load more ads. In fact I don't think I've been able to reach the end of an article to find out what the hell it was even talking about. First page ends: "But what he saw would shock anybody", the next page was reworded, but said the exact same thing, ending in "... but nothing could have prepared him for what he saw next." Jesus Christ, who creates something as bad as this?
They normally take someone's personal story (which is normally never something significant, like someone forgetting to leave a tip, or something went VIRAL, i. E. a couple now looks more youthful than when they were younger) and turn it into a 20 page slideshow, take forever to load each slide because they powerhouse like 10 ads on every one to make bank off viewers.
Unfortunately legitimate sites like Yahoo news keeps including links to this horrible site which uses intriguing news story headlines to promote what turns out to utter crap with horrible ads and pop ups.
Horrible formatting, very boring and extremely misleading. Takes 10 pages of nonsense and repetition to get to the point. It's really not a big deal and I usually don't leave reviews, but it's to the point where everytime I see an add from this website I want to throw my phone into a volcano. And then myself.
I took a 'test' that supposedly would figure out what American dialect I speak. At the end of the test, it told me I got '52%' of the questions 'right' and did not even tell me which American dialect I speak! There are no right or wrong answers to a questionnaire that tries to determine a dialect. Such questions are supposed to break it down to which dialect a person speaks according to how they answer the questions. I did my own research and found out that there are 8 different dialects in the U.S.A. This was a BOGUS questionnaire! And judging from all the other comments on here, par for the course for WorldLifeStyle. This is the first and last time they fool me into clicking on their phony site.
Each "paragraph" is a rewording of the previous paragraph. Each page has 3 ads at least.
Something that could be said in one paragraph is dragged out in writing that a 6th grade student would be ashamed of writing.
Who is your audience? Why do you insult us?
OH... and then the page froze which led me to expect it was downloading spyware into my computer.
It's sad because I figured it was a clickbait website because the ad, in comparison to the others, looked more blurred and fake. And I kept reading the incoherent story only to realize that I figured out the ending by looking at the picture of the words written on the receipt (the one where the waitress slips the note written on the receipt to the woman's husband). If I'd known this was for them to get ad play, I would've definitely kept moving. I knew that those fake 'Next' buttons were there and I dodged those. Most people wouldn't, so this website sucks.
Tip for consumers:
Don't! It'll probably spam your device if you hit the wrong buttons.
This website is nothing but a bunch of BS articles, with every page being a bunch of clickbait and a 'NEXT' button. Garbage sites like this should burn. People who make & work for these sites really need to get a life.
Tip for consumers:
This site is a bunch of BS clickbait that should be avoided at all costs. Sites like this are an embarrassment to the human species.
Spams ads, uses hooks as filler, invariably infuriating the reader. If I saw an ad on their site, I would have to assume that the company the ad represents consents to these sort of anti-consumer practices, anti-business practices, to be frank. Companies like these keep advertising cheap, ineffective, and out of touch, and the sooner we stop tolerating this garbage, the sooner the money will go elsewhere
See Lisa R's response and might I add it was a $#*!ING waste of time.
One more thing, I will click your disclaimer but y'all can go pollinate yourselves!
Against the law? Been hanging out with Trump too much have you!?
Bogus stories with no end. They're like a 5th grade writing assignment. And now that I'm trying to summit this review I understand why. "Review must contain at least 100 characters." I'm guessing someone likes to read words just to read words.
This site draws you in to stupid stories that you have to waste your time clicking through endless pages to get to a worthless ending. It's designed that way to expose you to endless stupid advertisements to get your money.
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time or money
STAY AWAY. Is this site even for real? What is wrong with them? Like seriously, what was that? Why do they even exist? Just to mess with people? Don't waste your time or give them any clicks. They suck. I'm guessing LITERALLY ANYONE can write on it and there is NO ONE proofreading or editing.
Bad stories that use clickbait to get you reading in the first place each page is mostly ads with very little text and it fills the story with meaningless sentences that are only there to take up room and get more pages in the article for more ads.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site leave and never go back
Every single story ive looked at involves lurkinf round whats actually trying to be said, ending each page with a dog $#*! cliff hanger when you want to get to the truth. Honestly id rather trust a coke dealer trying to sell me meth than your bull$#*! articles.
This site makes you take a super long time to read a story and repeats over and over. You get a paragraph or two, then have to click " next " The stories never use names or sources and the more I read cfc the more I think they may be fiction to suck readers in for mass advertising.
