The appearance of the greenhouse we ordered seems to be good. The only issue we had was the shipping of packages (6). The largest box was ripped open while in transit. We have tried to do an inventory but cannot find any instructions or packing list for the greenhouse itself other that the optional anchor kit. It also appears the fasteners needed are missing as well. We will not be putting the greenhouse up for several months due to weather and the need for a concrete base. Again this is not the companies fault but probably the shipper, (UPS) as there were 12 different points of handling. It will just add more time for the reorder of any needed fasteners.
I purchased an item on a Friday and had to contact them the following Wednesday after getting no shipping information from them. 1 chat, 2 emails and 2 phone calls later I finally got a response promising a follow up with more detail -- that never arrived. I eventually contacted the manufacturer to obtain my shipping information and, after almost 3 weeks, am still waiting for the item to arrive.
My husband was able to put it together by himself in a couple hours, and it turned out great! I was concerned because the cedar wood seems soft, but in the directions it tells you to line the box with plastic, which makes sense, to keep the wood from rotting.
Purchased a 6x3 garden box online. Received an immediate (automated) confirmation of purchase. After eight (8) days and repeated attempts to contact someone at the company, using multiple email addresses asking for an update, I never received a single response. I finally requested that my order be canceled -- though guessing that request will be unsurprisingly unfulfilled.
As others have said already, it's one thing to have bad customer service; it's another thing entirely to have *no* customer service.
Bought a Grandio Elite 8x16 greenhouse on sale last December. I had a handyman assemble it in June. I needed a greenhouse to overwinter citrus plants During NewEngland winters. I thought this was a good choice. Turns out to be a bad choice. It is not weather tight at all. Told the customer service rep what I needed it for. She didn't advise me that this was not weather tight. I have no idea how to weatherize a barn style door. In addition the two automatic vent openers do not work. I. called three times and left messages in as many months for someone to return my call. No response. I emailed them too. No response. I'm out four thousand dollars for a greenhouse that I can't use for it's intended purpose. Really pissed. Do not buy from this company.
I placed my order and 5 days later it was still not shipped. Called and there was no answer, went directly to voicemail of a cell phone. Not that that is a huge issue but it was during business hours and I didnt get a return call. Canceling my order took a few days also.
I placed an on-line order for item number IS ******* which is an 8' H x 8' W x 10' L Spring Gardner Gable Greenhouse. The package came today but is not the right item that I ordered. I received item IS ******* which is the 6 ft x 8 ft x 7 ft.
I would like to receive the item that I paid for and I am hoping that this mistake gets resolved promptly.
Any and all problems whether minor or not were handled cheerfully and promptly. This companies staff was very familiar with the product and explained the steps required for delivery clearly.
That said it all-thanks! I'm a 5' tall 65 year old woman and it was easy to just follow the visual and brief, written directions. I did it all by myself! It's perfect for the space I have.
We like the kit for mini greenhouse. It was a little difficult to figure out how to fit it together and to make the holes line up for screws. I can let you know more when it gets used!
I haven't assembled the green house yet. The package was in very rough shape when it arrived. Hope all the pieces are there. I looked inside the box and the quality appears to be good.
Company provided excellent service and great communication. The greenhouse was shipped amazingly fast. Everyone can transact with this company with complete confidence!
I ordered our greenhouse on a Monday and had it delivered on Thursday! We haven't put it up yet but if the quality is anything like the service... all I can say is WOW!
I purchased the Palram Canopia Victory Chalet and asked to return it prior to shipping due to finding many reviews on other sites showing the greenhouse collapsing and breaking during low winds. I told World of Greenhouses that I wanted to purchase a more durable Janssen's/Exaco greenhouse that is more durable and at least 3x more expensive. They took over a week to refund my first purchase and charged me a 5% restocking fee that they said they wouldn't be charging me. Why would I want to spend even more money here?
The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the directions.
Thankfully, my husband is very talented at putting things together as the direction are not correct on a few things.
But Love the final product.
When assembling it was quick and easy but tie down was broken. Where you tie the string. I am afraid the others will break easily with the slightest breeze.
I was assisted through the selection process of buying the right greenhouse that meets my needs, budget and most important my area zone.
The staff were professional and helpful.
I received my product (planter table) within 4 weeks of ordering in September 2020. I can't complain about that too much considering we are in a global pandemic. The product is quite sturdy and it was not too difficult to assemble. Everything arrived in good shape and no parts were missing.
Customer service response to my one email was a bit slow and impersonal in my opinion. I would have appreciated a signature block at the bottom of their response email so I knew who I was talking to. I also think the company should let us know when something has shipped, and they should not charge credit cards until it has shipped. They indicated they would provide ahipping information when I made the purchase, but I was clueles as to when, or even if it shipped until I inquired.
I saw many negative reviews comcerning this company's customer service before I placed my order, but I also saw some ones. I really hope they will work to address customer concerns. Regardless, based on my OVERALL experience, I WOULD buy from this company again. The planter table met my needs perfectly at a reasonable price.
Staff were helpful and courteous, understood my situation requiring delayed shipping to Paradise, ca. Very responsive to my e-mails.

Easy to assemble and well made with thick material covering the framework, I would purchase from the company again an get to know the whole family and spend the holidays
I ordered an Ascent 8 x 16 Greenhouse which should be been able to be assemble in three days and two months later it is assembled with some damaged parts. After discovering my shipment was damaged, I phone Work of Greenhouses. The sales rep told me to send a list of damaged parts which I did. He turned my over to Grandio Greenhouses, who manufactures the greenhouses and i have NOT heard from him since. After receiving more damaged parts and MANY missing parts, I have assembled the greenhouse but not with quality pieces, even shipped panels and replacement aluminum pieces were dented and scratched. If I had waited for every piece to be acceptable, I'd be waiting until next spring. The representative from Grandio was helpful but not happy with me. If I were doing this over again, I would not order from either. UPS may be partially responsible for damages but VERY POOR packaging was the main reason. The greenhouse looks nice if you don't look carefully at the scratches and dents. I'd never pay that much or a greenhouse from these people again! If I could have returned it and gotten a full refund I would have!
So far so good... still have to assemble it but I wish they had stayed more in contact with me as to rather it had shipped and when I could expect it.
I have not put together my greenhouse yet but I want to give the company kudos on the shipping! I needed it as soon as I could and I got it within 3 days!
Prompt shipment. Greenhouse kit had everything you need to set up your greenhouse. Very detailed instructions. Did take two days to put up. You need two people to build.
That is my first greenhouse. I wanted it as a present for my mom. I fully satisfied with it and my mom as well. It compact and greatly fits her flowers.
