These guys stole £60. I ordered software, was not able to download it. Request for refund ignored. Voucher offered for half the money. No satisfactory outcome. I lost £60!

I purchased an item that didn't match description and wasn't fit for purpose. Struggled but eventually managed to return it and received Wowcher credit (not money)
Later attempted to use credit but NO CREDIT! GONE!
Expired? How can my refund Expire?
So NO Product and NO Refund

I bought a garden parasol last year for £89 that was never delivered. I followed it up but never got anywhere. I picked it up again but was told its now too long after the order. I want my money back

If you aren't getting a response from Wowcher and they owe you money take out a claim in the small claims court. I did this on line for £25 and Wowcher had to reimburse the £25 as well as the item plus postage and packing. After having my e-mails ignored and going around in circles through the phone system I wanted some way of getting noticed as well as my money back.
The Gov.co.uk website tells you how to go about making your claim and I hope that if enough people use this service then Wowcher might finally start actually replying to customers and dealing with issues instead of ignoring them and hoping they will go away.
The bigger your claim the more it costs but Wowcher have to reimburse this as well as pay interest on your claim depending on how long they have had your money for.
As an example to claim for £300.01 - £500 you have to pay £35, £500.01 to £1000 is £60 and £1000. 01 to £1500 is £70.
I would encourage everybody who has been left out of pocket and frustrated by this company to make a claim through the small claims service - if enough people do it they might finally get the message that poor service and ignoring people has consequences! Good luck.

Do not use this company absolute joke if you have any issues with your items.

Ordered two bedding items in September and due to the poor quality they were returned. Despite using their recommended courier (Hermes) items have been lost in the post. I have been back and forth with Wowcher and Hermes countless times trying to resolve this issue with neither company taking any accountability or offering any resolution. Both keep batting the issue back to myself despite the fact I have proven I sent the return & proven the courier lost the parcel. Customer Service is absolutely atrocious. Repeatedly requesting the same information and always taking no liability or offering a resolution.

Would imagine for both Wowcher and Hermes if you have no issue they are fine. However, if you have any problems at all getting a resolution is near impossible for both of them.

Absolutely would not recommend and would never use again. Stress and effort went in to trying to sort this myself is not even worth the monetary value of the products

The worst company i ever came across. Crooks! The take you money, dont deliver, dont refund! They say they will give credit, and expires without telling you anything

This company might be decent if you get items that you are keeping. God help you if you send something back. I've waited for weeks for my refund. I guess its been sent by carrier pigeon.

I ordered a summer mystry gift from wowcher. Waited for it to be delivered, had the email to say it's been delivered to me by myhermes but it never arrived. No one to speak to. Total waste of money

Bought GPS key fobs to find that they are blutooth only! This renders them completely useless for their purpose. Tried to complain to wowcher and the vendor and have received nothing back. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Order a smart watch 2 weeks no watch and won't reply back on watsup or no emails going through, they just rip people, be warned from buying from this company!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they are thieves. I had £42 in my Wowcher wallet and because I didn't use it for 1 month they just removed it from my wallet. The customer services said sorry computer said no, it's in the t&c that if you don't use it you'll loose it. THEIVES!

While searching for a copy of a fairly recent copy of Microsoft Office I noticed Wowcher were selling MS Office 2016Home and Student for about £19. A delivery time of 10 to 15 days was quoted. As I only wanted Word and Excel for occasional use, I ordered a copy of this software on 31st January this year.
My order was acknowledged and I was made to pay for a 'Wowcher Code' that I did not want. This code would expire after 2 weeks unless redeemed. I was also charged an 'administration fee'. I received no further information from Wowcher after their e-mail confirming my order.
I then received a continuous blizzard of e-mails promoting their sales and offers, but no details of when I was likely to receive my order. This was clearly designed to distract me from my order.
I posted letters on 1st March to Wowcher's Derby branch and to their Islington office. I threatened them with legal action in the Small Claims Track of the County Court if they did not refund my money with 7 working days. The second letter was signed for the following day. They have just ignored this threat. This tactic usually works with traders of this ilk.
As it does take some effort to open legal proceedings I contacted PayPal who have refunded my money.

Ordered Oversized Blanket Hoodie (Merchant Hunndo-P)

I redeemed my voucher with the 'merchant' on 18/10/21 and paid £4.99 for delivery.

The estimated delivery was for 27/10/21

I attempted to contact the merchant but they're site advises I needed to contact WOWCHER.

I contact wowcher on 28/10/21 as my delivery hadn't arrived via whatsapp so they emailed the Merchant on my behalf.

I received an email from the merchant advised my package has now been processed yesterday 03/11/21 and is now due 8/11/21

AKA the merchant didn't process my order on 18/10/21 and only processed it yesterday due to Steve at wowcher sending them email on the 28/10/21

The gift was for my daughter, her birthday as been and gone and I'm down £19.99 + £4.99 postage waited over a month for this item.

Spoke to WOWCHER again today and they have to send another email to the merchant which again will take 48/72 hours for response.

All I want is a refund!

Do not shop with this company for anything, how they haven't been investigated is unbelievable. How they get away with keeping your money if you don't know about redeeming their vouchers and refusing a refund or a new voucher is a disgrace. DO NOT SHOP WITH THESE THIEVES

Con you out of your hard earned money try and get your money back they make it very hard to do, your better off doing a Google search for the deals you will find it cheaper deal

Having paid, got voucher for Ricco push chair including postage only to be told that the push chair manufacturer had gone into administration and I had to claim from the administrator!

I cannot get my £300 back from WOWCHER for mine delivery of goods. The retailer said I will never receive my goods and can o my claim money back from WOWCHER BUT THEY DO NOT ANSWER. Shocking. THEY ARE THEIVES.

My mother died, I could not redeem the wowcher i had also health problems and such as tumours in my ankle and kidney issues, and a heart condition, I WhatsApp Wowcher explaining this and that even with all this i had tried contact the providers to let them know, and could not get through wowcher refused to give and refund, please do not use them ever heatless no feeling terrible organisation

Not only do they do not deliver, but there customer service is so bad they make phone companies look competent!

Very quick to take your money, in my case they failed to deliver and failed to give a refund siting they are only able to give a credit voucher. It has been a nightmare. Beware.

Wowcher took VIP subscription from both my partner and me. They insist they have repaid us. They have repaid my partner but NOT me. They are now ignoring me.

The website does not clarify its services until you have completed your purchase. The website is not user friendly, very hard to get details on how to contact their customer services. There is no phone numbers to ring for customer services. The West online business in the world. I was unable to cancel my account, they ask you to write to them and not easy to find the address to. Very poor website with the worst customer service, WILL NEVER EVER USE AGAIN. VERY DISAPPOINTED. They advertise products, when you pay for the product they won't deliver the product, until you have to redeem the voucher which you did not put in the basket, as you think you have paid for your item, they tell you the voucher has expired and you will not be refunded or get you item. Why this long winded process?, made this way to confuse unsuspecting customers. The worst website in the well. I will never go near this website again...they took my money for their gain and not delivered my product and their Wowcher voucher is a way of confusing customers so that the company benefits from the money that customers pay not knowing they are buying a voucher not the actual product they put in the basket. 2 years ago we purchased 5 night away to Venice with our 3 year old son then. We upgraded to better hotel and food incl, extras costed good for few hundreds. We should to fly out on 6th March 2o2o. With obvious situation at that time in Italy I contacted them wanting to cancel or postpone but I've been told that it's my choice not to go and they won't refund. Even for food! Also 9h before scheduled travel they sent an email stated that our hotel got closed due to covid and we will be put somewhere else. Venice has been locked down on 8th. We've lost all the money.
Recently I was naive to trust them again and purchased 2 palm trees. The delivery was delayed for a month and the state of them is shocking! Dry, broken and I'm pretty sure dead. Im not even going to bother to contact anyone. My nerves are much more important. I am aware that it's kind of dealing with different companies through wowcher but dear God, the companies they advertise/sell products are $#*!! Basically one big scam. Never again.
