I've been to a few sites who offer this, but I just like the samples displayed on this site of the work they have already done. It is pretty cool to think that some one could get a miniature of themselves for whatever purpose they wanted it for.
It is ideal for cake toppers of course. For children, it could be used for a big event such as Graduation or Sweet 16 or Bar Mitzvah or Quinceanera or achieving Black Belt in Martial Arts. For couple getting married, they could use their own mini doll on the cake, so it truly does depict the couple getting married.
My fiancé and I ordered a custom cake topper from wowminime and although the company was fairly accommodating during the process (changes, suggestions etc) when we got the dolls they were packed in a box that was slightly too small for them and they arrived broken and we were charged 30$ delivery. (Also noticed it arrived from Japan NOT the UK like it's listed on their site).
When we contacted the company with our concerns and multiple photographs they asked us to try gluing it back together (we paid 240$ for something special for our wedding... gluing it together was NOT the answer we were looking for). I asked for a refund and they offered around 25$. I said no then they offered 50. I said no again and they gave us back 60$ and that was all they were willing to do.
Needless to say were pretty disappointed with the cracks and glue all over our cake topper and will need to get another one which is disappointing considering the amount of money we spent on this one!
I ordered a custom cake topper from wowminime a few weeks back and the package arrived this past monday. I checked the package to see if there was any damage before opening and there wasn't so I continued to open the package. After unwrapping the package I noticed a chunk of my hair from the cake topper was not attached, the color I requested was incorrect and the hair style I requested wasn't correct either. In the beginning phases of ordering they were very accommodating, answering all my questions and concerns. Now that I have recieved my cake topper it is as if they are done with them. I emailed them my concerns and pictures as proof and was told to just use super glue to glue the hair back onto the topper and was told the color that was painted on the doll was a royal blue Even though it is not. Even though their were other things wrong with the cake topper I was willing to overlook the flaws because they were so accomidating at first. I am very disappointed in my purchase and don't recommend this company to anyone wanting something special for their wedding day.

We come across this review today, for any reason, for unsatisfied customer, we feel very sorry about that.
Like such polymer clay handicraft, we can't promise 100% safe during the delivery process, as you know, rude handling during the international delivery sometimes may cause damage, even we pack it very carefully before sending out, it's out of our control.
When damage case happen, we will require our customer to send digital photos as proofs, if damage seriously, we will remade a new one to replace without any extra cost, but if the damage is very small crack, for example, small crack at the bottom of the skirts, or the car accessary loose from the base, we will ask our customer to glue it back themself, as it is very easy to do, and will not affect the cake toppers.
For the place of production, we write very clearly at out website, we located in HongKong, and we ships from HongKong, NO JAPAN, NO UK, maybe you make a mistakes.
Anyway, sorry for such unsatisfied experience. We search your info, and guess you are the customer of our order 1558, if there are any future oppotunity, you want birthday cake toppers, or anniversary cake toppers, we will provide you better service then!
