From start to finish Wren were really helpful. The design stage was great, any changes we made were all dealt with. The delivery was spot on, even the flooring which came from another company arrived exactly on time. We had quartz tops, expensive compared to alternatives but worth it in my opinion. The measuring and fitting of these tops also went like a dream, they delivered ahead of schedule. The quality of the units is very good. To cap it all the 0% finance deal really made it worth doing, I would certainly recommend Wren based on my experience with them.
I have had the cabinets for 3 yrs. Now they are coming unglued at the bottom of the cabinets.I have to say I have had nothing but problems from the beginning. It took months to get the cabinets in and right. And now they are falling apart. Very disappointed and unhappy.
From start to finish great service with huge help and advice from Peter the Wren designer

AVOID! Appalling service
Appalling service. They are nice to you until they get your money. After that, if you have any issues, they have NO CUSTOMER SERVICES. They never reply to emails. Needless to say they promise you a guaranteed delivery date that YOU will choose, as long as u pay immediately the whole balance. And when you do, they deliver the kitchen whenever they want, in my case 2 days later (that means i had to pay my builder for 2 days to do nothing!) and the delivery guys refused to bring upstairs the worktop cause they cant bend it so to bring it indoors! Next day the new delivery guys had no problem bringing the worktop into my flat. They also decide what time the delivery will be, am or pm. all this caused me lots of issues with my builder and also cost me money! The kitchen I bought came with defects, i was even delivered a used cabinet (someone else had it returned to Wren kitchens after they drilled on it). I sent them photos of water damage in the cabinets, scratches and scuffs, showing one cabinet was a returned item and drilled on it previously, but wren kitchens never replied. When i emailed again after few days, yelling at them, and then called them cause again they didnt reply to my email, they simply said they cannot think of how they can help me! They even took wrong measurements, overselled me mdf pieces/cut offs, and bigger cabinets, one cabinet was 800mm when it wouldnt fit unless it was 400mm! (my builder had to make a new smaller cabinet out of the big one!). Also the cabinets come with NO full instructions(obviously so u are forced to use their own installing guys) and with design defects. They also add items when u buy a kitchen, to your expense, so always read what they send you carefully. Always look at the small print because they will blame YOU for their incompetence and Wren kitchens do NOT offer compensation. They are scamming their clients off their money. Avoid them at all costs. And always use your own installer guy.

Hello Maria,
Thank you for leaving us a review.
I'm sorry to hear you feel the service has not lived up to expectations, and it's certainly something we will look into.
We've worked to develop unique manufacturing techniques, including specialist paint finishes, adhesive treatments and assembly processes. For example, our doors are manufactured using Wren's specially engineered 230-meter long production line for a flawless finish.
This gives us the confidence to guarantee our kitchens for up to 25 years.
I have raised these issues with our team and asked them to investigate.
Regards,
Kevin
Pressurised to pay so that an installation date of 22/08 could be met, issues with non consolidation in regards to delivery and delivery times long after eta, two delivery dates given.
Lorry driver refused to help unload until he had his 45 minutes rest, the drivers assistant and 4 of our friends helped unload our substantial kitchen, it was a choice of wait or help and at 6.30pm 19/08 on Friday evening they were tired and hungry so they helped.
The thoughtless people who loaded the vehicle at the depot decided it was a good idea to put our 3 tower units at the doors of the vehicle so every delivery these units were being manhandled and were damaged and needed replacement.
The fitter arrived on the Monday assessed the damage reordered the damaged units and left the site and has not been seen since, eventually we were informed that the replacements would arrive this week and that an installer would arrive on the 08/09 we thought the kitchen would begin installation.
WRONG! Items were not delivered when expected and installer did NOT turn up, no contact nor explanation.
The builder rejected the last item as it was clearly damaged, when the installation department contacted us today it was to notify us that our part would be delivered on 21/09 which is totally unacceptable.
Our builders are on site and are unable to lay the underfloor heating on the ground floor nor the tiles until Wren has installed the kitchen.
I called Wren all they said was that the new part would be cleared under managerial level on the 21/09 no understanding of the costs involved due to this delay, as we are paying to rent a house these costs are escalating, trying to keep plumbers and electricians and not have them move to other jobs is stressful and costly.
Wren said we can discuss compensation once installation has begun, I wish we could just return the lot but it has been so exhausting I don't think we could start again.
We are in limbo, there doesn't seem to be much we can do to improve the situation, if it is a family who own this company please can they contact me asap to resolve this and recoup some dignity.
We are suffering from depression and anxiety and no-one at Wren gives a damn or is willing to sort anything out.
Is there any quality control? Do the delivery drivers take care when handling our precious cargo?
Funny there has been no contact at all from the showroom at Harlow since they took our money even though they have been ccd, what do we do now?
Any advice from anyone would be most appreciated, the FHIO will not do anything until we have gone through the completed the complaints procedure, it doesn't look like we can do that until after installation, so social media appears to be our only resource.
We will be seeking legal advice

So stressful
BE WARNED… USE YOUR OWN INSTALLERS…
So upset been in tears due to the lack of care from Wren.
Used WREN in CAMBRIDGE.
Our designer, NICHOLAS O'BRIEN, never replies to his emails, text messages or voicemails.
We paid in advance for the installation of this kitchen at a cost of £2,295 (we now know average UK cost of this is £1700) but the installer-

Contacted us the Friday before the installation on the following Monday asking for an additional £756 and wants 50% in advance…I now know that he did this after we took delivery, knowing that we couldn't back out of the the contract with Wren at this point… very nasty behaviour and unprofessional. He also wanted to confirm that he expects the use of our toilet, fridge and kettle whilst he's there. Contacted Wren Cambridge and couldn't be more upset.the installation 'can't help' even though they recommended the installers.so after speaking to about 10 different people then spoke to VICKI at head office on 18th Nov and now waiting to see if we can have this sorted out as we can't back out now as we have taken delivery …so upset about this.

Honestly save yourself the bother buy elsewhere. You get a different agent and story every time you communicate and they take so long to respond it just drags on. I will probably end up doing a section 75 charge back as dealing with Wren is just too stressful.
If you are considering buying a Wren kitchen select the 1 and 2 star reviews and read. If your purchase, delivery and fitting go well you still have a poor quality product which will delaminate within 3 - 5 years. All the 4 and 5 star reviews are for newly fitted kitchens - their reviews will change when the finish of their doors starts to peel away in a few years.
16/12/22 - original review:
Initially very pleased with my shaker kitchen. However 5 years on it is delaminating, the inner edges of all cupboards has blown. Wren have admitted the range was faulty and discontinued. They started off helpful, requesting 3 quotes for the cost of swapping the frontals in order to contribute but after 2 months of emails back and forth they will only contribute £400 towards the costs - which are coming in at over £700 and they are now saying the replacement doors are thinner than the originals. Therefore they will be set back in the trims and look ridiculous, my current kitchen is flush and neat looking. I have paid once for my kitchen to be fitted and I should not have to pay again due to their poor quality products. And any replacement should be the same size as the current frontals. Their warranty is useless as is their customer service. Buy elsewhere.
Update to review:
After my original review and a letter outlining Wrens obligations under the Consumer Right Act 2015 Wren called and were helpful. Apparently I had been misinformed and they could make replacement frontals the same size as my original doors and they would cover the fitting cost. However when the replacements arrived they were of poor quality and / or damaged. The laminate was cracked on every corner of the 2 doors I unpacked and there were dents, black marks and weird dimple effects in the laminate. Wren would like me to open, photograph and itemise the faults. I do not work for Wren and they are responsible for quality control checks on their products not me. They have been invited round to inspect the frontals for themselves. They are now also denying that the original kitchen was faulty despite admitting previously that it was and has been discontinued.
Tip for consumers:
Poor quality kitchens look lovely when fitted but fail within 5 years. A kitchen should last long enough for you to get bored with. Customer service is atrocious, I have only dealt with one courteous and professional agent out of the five I have been bounced around.

If I could leave zero stars I would! This absolute shambles of a company put us through hell and an absolutely abhorrent experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. They couldn't have been nicer up until the point they got my money but as many people have mentioned on here, once they have your money they couldn't care less and their customer service is absolutely appalling. It's all a facade and just an act to get your money! All their staff should wear masks as their service is daylight robbery, designed solely to get their hands on your money.
Our fitting was cancelled on the Thursday before it was due to take place on the Monday. We then had to wait SIX weeks for another date so we were left with no kitchen facilities at all as we'd already ripped the old kitchen out and all that the Wren clowns could suggest was that we go out and buy a camping stove! Once it was finally fitted we had endless complaints and compiled an EIGHTEEN point list of everything that had gone wrong. Wren don't have case files so every person we were referred to meant that we had to go through the rigmarole of having to explain everything over and over and over and over and over again.
All they could offer was marginally over £1,000 compensation which is absolutely pathetic considering what they put us through but that is Wren for you. I had to accept it, otherwise I'd have ended up with nothing but I am nowhere near happy with their downright derisory offer! Wren just take your money and couldn't care less about what they put you through afterwards. They kept telling me about how they are a family run company and pride themselves on the journey they send their customers on. Journey? It was an absolute nightmare!
It took us EIGHTEEN months to get their pathetic offer of compensation so if you are reading this DO NOT ever set foot in a Wren showroom, they are false, they are only interested in your money and have a vile, non compassionate customer service.
Our kitchen was paid for with money left to me by my late mother and was going to be something to remember her by but Wren succeeded in leaving us with nothing but bad memories which can never be rectified. Well done Wren, you are absolutely appalling! Please avoid this joke of a business like the plague, they don't deserve a single penny of your hard earned money!
